TGI FRIDAYS - Laurel
Our server was the best 👍👍👍👍 his customer service skills were amazing
The service was horrible. Ask to speak to a manager and he was worst than the server. Tried to give me boneless wings instead of the chicken tenders. I will never return to this location.
The table service and attention given to the table was great; however, food coming from the kitchen needs improvement.
For starters, when we arrived 5 minutes early for 6:30 dinner reservation we were told that they weren’t taking any Open Table Reservations. After 5-10 minutes of debating w/the hostess we finally dot seated. We sat there for 5-10 more minutes b4 we were acknowledged and asked if we wanted drinks. We requested water which came in 5-10 more minutes and finally our order was taken. After a good 1/2 an hour our food came and the waitress told us they were short staffed and she was working by herself. So we ate but we’re thirsty because she never brought our beverages we ordered with dinner and never came 2 refill our water glasses. After we FINALLY got the bill it took forever for our money 2 get collected and even longer for our change 2 be brought out. NEVER AGAIN:-/
It was a great time. Our server Brandon was really great! He was attentive to our needs and made sure we got our food as well as refills in a timely manner. I would certainly go back.
The food was cold it took 25 minutes just to get a waiter at my table. The waiter was great. That's about the only thing that was great
1 year anniversary
Group of 15. Once they figured out who was taking care of us, things got better.
Good is always good st TGIF thus far.
The Barbados drink was delicious!!
Good Meal. ..............,,.
Always a great time I celebrate my birthday each year here and I am never dissatisfied.
Horrible wait for seat and food
It was all good
Everyone there was very nice and always on top of asking what we needed.
First...they don't honor reservations, so we walked into a half empty restaurant for which we'd made an open table reservation, only to be told they'd put us on the waiting list... with one party ahead of us.
The place was FREEZING, and the waitress told us they'd been trying to chane the thermostat all day but couldn't reset it or turn it off, and the "landlord" had been called but hadn't responded.
Between it being so cold two of the three of us couln't stop shivering, and the uninspired menu, and the fact that all around us were vacated but still dirty tables (bus staff not in a hurry to clear them, either), we left w/o ordering.
Silver lining: several better choices right across the street!
The worst fridays experience ever...the hostess made me think of leaving first..ive never seen someone not want to actually work---at all.!!!...it was freezing, yhe music seemed to be only in 1 speaker and at the highest volume. Our server was " awesome and very positive"...everything else got progressively worse. The food was late and a mess in presentation, there was no way a mgr was in the building. All the members were hovered around in the kitchen, i didn't feel comfortable about that...the hostess/greeter or whatever the hell she was seemed rude to all new customers or i should say " nonchalant attitude "could not have been real. .but it was. 2 customers walked away because no-one was up front. I dined with my sister, daughter, son and son's dad. We watched all this craziness. My son is 10, we waited for his food, longer than expected ( like this review )..i never want to go back to that 1. I picked it. The new nachos were dry and horrible. The restaurant cold equals cold food ( not cool )
My experience was what you would expect out of a Fridays
This restaurant still have no knowledge of open table. However, I was seated promptly and waiter was very pleasant.
The food was not prepared according to specification which made the meal less than great.
Overall okay would have rated higher but it took too long to be greeted. Also, this establishment is not that familiar with open table reservations. However, food was good and affordably priced. Good place for family and groups.
Good food and great place to hang with friends. Restaurant was not familiar with open table reservations and I have yet to receive points for dining.
The hostess was very nice, she seemed flustered and I had to wait a couple of minutes for her to even get to the hostess stand. She must've been multi-tasking but she did seat us in about 5 minutes. I was with my husband and 18 month old. 15 minutes after we were sat and not one server had even said hello. A table that was seated way after us had a server come up to them and pull up a chair... no sense of urgency at all! That's when my husband went up to the hostess stand to tell them no one had come yet. She said to give her a minute. 5 minutes later still no one. We left after 25 minutes of waiting... we didn't even get water. And to think I actually thought I was being proactive making a reservation... I'm not expecting 5 star service or meal but I've never been treated this way at the Rockville location. Save your money and your patience and don't eat here. We ended up going across the street to Chido's Tex Mex Grill and had a wonderful meal with amazing service.
The host didn't even know that TGI Friday's had an option for reservations on open table. When we told her about the reservation for 9:45 she said that she will bump us up to the front of the wait line but that we would still have to wait 45mins - 1 hour for a table. She suggested we find a place at the bar which is self seating. Hosted failed to honor the reservation and accommodate the inconvenience. She should have partnered with a manager to try to find a quicker solution. Very poor service and experience. My party and I ended up walking out and dining at Chi'bal down the street.
Friday's has really got a nice lunch offering with their Lunch Pairings.
Great service and prices
Food was actually better than expected
I love TGI Friday in laurel but this time i went i had made reservations for 2 tables and i had to wait a whole hour because they wanted to mane sure i really had a party of 7..which was crazy and once seated we still was waiting 20 mins for someone to offer us drinks and food.
The lunch specials are outstanding. I had the strawberry salad and broccoli cheddar soup - both were very good and the price was only $7!
Enjoyed the lunch specials which included a salad and soup for about $8. Very good deal and great service.
