TGI FRIDAYS - Hollywood
It was nice.
The appetizers was good, however the entrees weren’t as expected. My pasta dish lacked seasoning, flavor. My son’s burger was overcooked. We got charge a service charge bc it was more than 6 of us I would assume, the waitress stated that it doesn’t go all to her, but to all the staff members...totally weird and unusual. This isn’t the type of restaurant I visit often, so I almost expected it to be mediocre. The mango peach lemonade was great!
When we got there we were told that their open table reservations were down on the computer but that we would be seated fairly quickly, which we were after just a few minutes. They had very good deals on the food and it was pretty tasty. We were disappointed that they did not have any decaf coffee to go with our dessert. They said that their order had not come in. Service was good. Overall a good value for the prices
We had the chicken Caesar wraps. Very fresh and tasty. The chips are a nice touch. The salad in the sandwiches were very crunchy. Our waitperson was nice an efficient. The only thing I do not like is every time I go into this Fridays they give us a hard time about the Open Table reservation and points. They absolve themselves from honoring the program and waste a lot of time at the front desk explaining. Either they are in or out. Corporate needs to make a decision.
The chicken sandwiches that my husband and I ordered were very good and a lot of fries came with them. They had a Wednesday special and the sandwich was only $5.00! I have only one complaint and it is that when you tell the hostess or any other employee that you have a reservation with Open Table, they immediately respond with, "Oh, we don't do Open Table." HUH!!! This has been the fourth time this same restaurant has told me this. Well, if they don't do Open Table, then someone needs to call and take the restaurant off the website. So, every time I eat there I have to email Open Table so I can receive my points.
It was good
staff was like do I have to be here attitude no welcome or thanks please come back nothing
We like T.G.IFridays for its fresh food and friendly waitstaff. This visit was no exception. The free chips and salsa for card members are always a nice touch.
I tried one of their new menu items, a sizzling shrimp dish with udon noodles. It was good, but not great. I did not particularly care for the sauce which was thick, brown and too salty. My husband enjoyed his sizzling chicken and shrimp dish. I have had that before and it is very good. Our dessert, ice cream with oreo crumbs over it was tasty, but it could have been served colder as it melted rather quickly which took away from the taste and enjoyment.
The food is good and the wait staff are very attentive.
My husband and I love TGI FRIDAYS, so we chose to come on this end today and eat here since we're always dining in Pembroke Pines or Miami.
I was a little disappointed since I'm always using "Open Table" for my lunch or dinner reservations, but the greeter stated that their system was down. So, I have to email my receipt for dining in order to receive my points.
Appetizer- We selected the spinach and anti choke dip and it was pretty good.
Adult beverage- I don't drink liquor, so I had a virgin strawberry daiquiri and my Husband a Modelo Beer, which he really like.
Entree- I chose the shrimp and 1/2 rack of ribs, with broccoli and potatoes. Husband chose a whole rack of ribs with broccoli and potatoes.
Our son didn't come, so we got him chicken fingers with French fries.
Outcome- Our ribs were pretty good and the mashed potatoes. I didn't eat the broccoli because both mine and my Husband's wasn't green and fresh. The waitress brought some out again and still it was a mess. :-(
Ambiance/Decorations- The restaurant was pretty loud, lots of children were here with parents. New tables need to be ordered as well as new menus for the restaurant. They both were sticky and disgusting.
If I had to do it all over again, I would've chose the shrimp pasta. My husband said he would've chosen a different location because he know the food would've all been better. I may be back, but will choose a different time.
*I love TGI FRIDAYS Points. We usually receive a free meal. Our son 's dinner was free. :-)
Wonderful experience overall my daughter was really happy thank you
Only Due to convenience of the surround attractions i would.
they said open table app is no longer connected to tgi fridays
Our waitress was great and we were a large party! Food was ok came out hot!
We reserved our table via OpenTable, had confirmation and TGIFridays said they didn't have a table for us. Waited forever, got a table, waited 20 minutes for service. Food came quickly and was good! Thank goodness because we didn't ser our waitress after she took our order until i went and asked for our bill. Food great, some of the worst service I've ever had.
We had a 6:15 reservation and we got our food at 7:15. One of the orders was even later than that and I shared my food with my friend. My vegetables never arrived. We had to grab our checks and leave because we had a movie to go to. The server did his best to accommodate us but the kitchen was going down in flames
Everyone in our party of three had a burger. They were thick and juicy and we all enjoyed our lunch!
I spent over $100.00 and they could not get my order right on multiple occasions. Even my to- go order was all wrong and I was dissatisfied. I wish I would of never tipped the waiter as she does not good listening skills. I asked for no shrimp on the pasta because my husband is allergic and they still put some in.
This will be my last time here.
THIS RESTAURANT DOESN'T LIKE HONORING RESERVATIONS
Good but restrooms were dirty
Service and food were very good tonite. The number of screaming kids was too much. (And we love kids.) Won't go at 6pm again
We went for Valentine’s Day and it was all around bad service. We booked a reservation through open table then I called the restaurant to make sure they accepted reservations and I was told yes. Upon arrival they told us that they were not accepting reservations and we had to wait for a table. Waitress was absolutely horrible, she brought out our drinks halfway through our meal, and our meal took an hour to come out.
Food was good and tasty, good value for the 2 for 14.99 specials. Great server. Only recommendation would be restaurant needs to clean tables a bit quicker as when walking through to be seated some tables were still not cleared and very unappetizing to see garbage/plates sitting for a period of time.
When I checked in, it was obvious that the host didn't look at the Open Table reservations, at all. I was placed at the bottom of the waiting list, as if I hadn't had a reservation and made to wait.
"apparently" due to system issues we didn't have a reservation. The waitress was nice and attentive (five stars to her) Manager was unwilling and unpleasant.
Took a long time for someone to help us. Food is overpriced.
I had the cajun chicken and shrimp. When it come out it was cold. The cajun sauce was too runny. The straw berry passion drink was disgusting. I had to ask for another drink. Server was great.
My husband and I have eaten here many times. The food is good and we usually receive decent service. However, there is a problem when it comes to making reservations on Open Table because the restaurant claims they do not take Open Table reservations (HUH???). If that is the case, then they should not be listed. The supervisor/manager on duty is always apologetic, but I feel that this problem has to be rectified. It is just such an inconvenience, because every time I eat at TGI Friday's, I have to contact Open Table to let them know I showed up for my reservation.
This is the worst Friday’s I’ve ever been too. First when I walked in the host barely greeted me because she was too busy talking to her coworker. Then we got sat in the middle of the restaurant when I requested a booth. And we sat there with no service for 30 minutes ! No one greeted me or took care of me for 30 minutes so I just walked out and the host is going to say “have a good one” laughing as I’m walking out like she knew I didn’t get serviced
Service was almost non-existent. Food was OK. But nothing to write home about
My husband and I decided to have dinner here because we wanted to eat at a casual restaurant. We have always found the food to be just "OK" but always enjoy ourselves because we like the atmosphere. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken and my husband had a burger. I was somewhat disappointed because they have now substituted the side of pasta and cheese for mashed potatoes.
The best thing about our visit to TGIF was Joe, our waiter. We have had him before and his service was always great. As usual, he was personable and attentive. We never had to ask for anything.
Birthday Dinner for myself with family. Service was great thanks to out waitress who was excellent. She did an awesome job handling 22 people alone.
Ribs are always worth the drive. You can't beat the value for what you get!!
I was dining with friends. We had a great meal. Waiter was very nice and food arrived very quickly.
It was wonderful great staffs food was good love the drinks atmosphere was good
poor service took over an hour to get our food
food tasted awful
I booked a reservation through Open Table, but the hostess and manager told me they do not participate in the program (HUH???). As for the food, it was very good. I had the sliders and my husband had a burger. Our waiter was personable and very attentive. All in all, I really can't complain. Hopefully, they will understand that their restaurant IS part of Open Table.
Great food with excellent service! Probably the best service we've experienced at any Friday's we have visited - From Cleveland Ohio.
This restaurant does not confirm reservations made on Open Table. They use this service as a call ahead. I have not heard this before from any restaurants I have booked with Open Table. Is this a new service? It was very strange.
Firstly, the reservation we made the restaurant did NOT receive. If I didn't have my email they would not have had our reservation for 7 people. It was nowhere! Not sure your system works with them or it's them.
Second, the wait time to get our food was over an hour. And, the restaurant wasn't even busy that night. We all commented on how quiet they were.
Terrible experience. Very disappointed!!
