TGI FRIDAYS - Greensboro
Worst meal we've had, cold pasta, overcooked ribs, broccoli was over seasoned, honestly the only food that was good was the pretzel, mashed potatoes and the fries!! As we left the young lady was kind enough to hold the door open while she was texting her friend, never looked up never said a word. I thought that was appropriate considering how horrible our meal was!!!
They sat us on the far side of the restaurant in the middle of a huge and loud birthday party. Server was good but overloaded and food was slow and subpar.
Awesome experience! Will return again!!!
They did not honor reservations and when asked why they did not give reason. Then told me it would be 1.5 hour wait. That’s why I made a reservation.....
We booked online Christmas night to arrive at the restaurant and be told that it didn’t matter that we booked on open table . That we had to wait. We waited 45 minutes before finding seats at the bar. This would have been fine if something had been put on opentable about the fact that they weren’t doing that that night. Other than that the food was good .
We were very happy with finding this place open Christmas Day! Food was great! Service was good! We will be back!
I went here for an early dinner with my boyfriend. We both ordered the “2 entrees for $14.” I got the salmon and ribs, he got the steak and ribs. his food came out cold while mine came out hot. he had to send his back. I was enjoying my food until I realized my salmon was raw. I sent it back to the kitchen because I am pregnant and cannot have raw seafood. I cannot remember his name, but our server was nice and apologetic. Also took 1 of the orders off the bill.
Our waitress had to be asked several times for basic things like refills and extra napkins.
My reservations instruction were not followed. I ask for not steps, not near kitchen. We were seated in the bar area.
Waited ten minutes at our table. No one acknowledged us or greeted us. Busy or not you should still reach a table in around a minute and acknowledge they are their.
I would not come back!!! The food were ok but overpriced. We did not get ours appetizer... asked multiple times for drink refill...
Wow! I enjoyed tonight's dinner. Totally surpassed my expectations! All staff members were very friendly and attentive. Love their New crispy Brussels Sprouts! Also the sirloin steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and parmesan butter sauce was very good. Enjoyed the option to substitute sides for 2 vegetables. I didn't want to deal with fancy dinner while on business and so glad I tried out Friday's. It was relaxing and very good.
This was just a bad meal, poorly executed, and with poor service. We knew it would be bad but it was Christmas and nothing else was open. No big deal.
I understand the restaurant business is tough and customers complain often. The food just wasn't any good. Most of the staff was just standing around the hostess stand doing nothing. Regardless I still tipped 18%. I just wouldn't go back to this TGI location.
Overall we enjoyed it. It took a while to get our mixed drinks but it was worth the wait.
We had never tried TGIF's endless apps and invited some friends to join us in the experience. The food was well prepared, fresh and served quickly. We all went home full of tasty food at a very reasonable price.
It was a good experience. Had to wait longer than would have like for endless apps refill, but the service of the waitress keeping us posted on our status was great. One of the main things I would like to see differently, is to receive the same amount of the ordered app as I received the first time or at least if I switched apps to give me a full serving would be great! I probably would have became full a lot faster and made a lot less request for more.
