TGI FRIDAYS - Greece
The entire restaurant was full of un-bussed tables, bus boys throwing fits, hardly anyone working. I was told I would have to wait 30 minutes even though I had a reservation. The guy realized he had to sit me with the reservation. Our server was trying very hard to keep us happy but all the food was overcooked, even our appetizer. Our beer was flat, the place was a mess and you could see no one was happy.
Before i ordered i let the waitress know i had a coupon that if you order two drinks and an entree you get one free. i asked her if there was only certain meals that you could use it with and she said no.The steak was very tough and hard to chew. We ordered a extra salad but did not receive dressing for it.We asked two times and never received the dressing for salad. At the end of my meal they told me that the coupon was not going through.I asked her nicely if she could ask the manager and they did approve it.When i got home i looked at my receipt and they charged me $2.00 more for one of the meals but me and my husband ordered the same exact thing. We came here for our 23rd anniversary and was very disappointed.
Server was rude poor customer service me and my family didn’t even stay we left
Wasn’t that pleased with the visit this evening. Also, the restaurant is extremely dark at night. They need to brighten up the restaurant and also the service was extremely slow in the kitchen, but our waitress was nice.
I love TGI Fridays they have the best drinks, the food is very good too..
The fryer was down. We had children with us so the menu was definitely limited for them. It was also for adults, but more choices. There were no accomodations made. We chose to stay, yes. But we expected some equitable substitutes for the meal items not available. Waitress was nice, but we just felt a manager would have come to greet us, make apologies, and possibly offer a small token to say "Thank you" for dining with us in spite of limitations on menu items. We made the best of it.
We came for an early dinner so we could see a movie after we ate. There were maybe 8 other people in the restaurant. We waited at least 10 minutes before a server, who had passed our table a number of times and had nothing to do, finally acknowledged us. She apparently had no idea that our table was assigned to her. When our food finally arrived, it was awful. There’s no way that the steak, which was cold and sitting in partially congealed butter, was worth $22. The “loaded” fries had a little bit of cheese and a couple of pieces of imitation bacon. Drink refills, straws, sour cream, each took a long time to arrive. Too bad.
A little boring
I always have great service at Fridays the food is cooked great and tastes great
It was Mothers day, but the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were seated by a gracious host, but 22mins had gone by and no one acknowledged us, until I approached the hostess. Our food was brought out in parts, the broccoli was cold. Each time we needed something, there was a long wait. Many tables were empty, but it seemed there were few servers. The manager did come out and speak with us to say they had some unexpected call offs. We typically have a good experience at Fridays, but this one was not good. our experience ended up taking a little over 3hrs.
The service was good, and we like the option of using Open Table. I ordered an expensive steak, and it was thin and chewy. Definitely not worth the high price. My son ordered an appetizer, the boneless chicken wings. It looked like they took one boneless wing and cut it into a dozen pieces. Not worth $10, that’s for sure.
Great food! Waitress was awesome!! I would definitely go back!
Restaurant seemed understaffed. Our waitress was running all over Food portions were small.
The food was not great at all. My family and I have been to numerous TGI Friday's and this was one that truly disappointed me. The sizzling chicken and shrimp was bland and barely any cheese on it. The appetizer which was the cheese sticks, potato with cheese and bacon and the mozzarella sticks were decent, but the shrimp pasta my husband had and the chicken and broccoli our son had was not great. The broccoli even had brown spots on the tips. We will not visit this location again. I was extremely disappointed and so was my family.
Don’t be fooled about the reservation you make through open table for this establishment. I had made 730 reservations for a Friday evening knowing it would be busy. We arrived 5 minutes early and was told it would be 10 minutes for a table, we were asked to give our phone number so they could text us when a table is ready.
They texted us 20 minutes later (15 minutes after my reserved time) to be seated. I wouldn’t be bothered as much had I known this “reservation” was going to be treated like a call ahead. I would have gone elsewhere because we were coming from my sons lacrosse game, it was already late, and we were all hungry.
The saving grace of the evening was when the server put a 20% off coupon in with the final bill.
I’ve used open-table a few times in the past and had no problem but I wouldn’t use it again for this location - it’s pretty much useless if you’re expecting to eat at a certain time.
We had a small room just large enough for 8 people which was great! The seats were large padded and very comfortable. Between the kitchen and the rest rooms which was a plus for us. The staff was very accommodating and friendly!!
After initially being told we placed 2nd and finding out later that we actually were 1st place winners...
We decided to celebrate.
The staff were very nice in accommodating our large group. And the food came out fresh and hot. Definitely would go here again!
The reservation was easy and the table was ready for us upon arrival. This place is quiet enough to be able to hold conversations easily. Food choices were plenty and tasty!! Service was perfect!
