TGI FRIDAYS - Creve Coeur
The service has really gone downhill. Our order wasn’t taken until 15 minutes after we sat down and our drinks didn’t arrive for another 15 minutes. My son (age 19) ordered milk and got a single small plastic bottle, 6-8 oz, and no glass. Later he asked for another milk and never received it, but we were charged for it. When the food arrived, they just about shoved the plates at us, including at my 83 year old mother, expecting her to take the plate from the server, rather than setting it down in front of her. She was sitting in the seat closest to the aisle so it wouldn’t have involved reaching over anyone else. It was hard to find out server for anything for the duration of the visit. My husband eventually went up to the bar to pay since our waitress was nowhere to be found. I’m not in a hurry to come back, even though we live nearby.
I made reservations for 6:30, and got my table around 7. We had a movie we were trying to get to, so we were concerned about not making it on time. However, our waitress was wonderful! I'm sorry I don't remember her name, but she was awesome! Your drinks from the bar are a little weak, but other than that, it was an overall good time.
* The server really tried but she was very new (she told us so).
* We got our food before our drinks. I ordered one of the special drinks. We were told the bartender had to look up the recipe for that and for the mudslide we ordered.
* There was a group that came in near us (30 people) and they were extremely loud. I know that is not the restaurant's fault.
* The ribs were dry and not as good as usual
* We made reservations but still had to wait about 15 minutes.
Not the best experience at TGIF but we will give it another try because everyone has an off night.
Tried to seat us at a table that hadn’t been cleaned off.
Not very courteous.
Out of all the tgif in the St. Louis area I would Highly recommend this location. The slab of ribs is to die for OMG!! If you’re super hungry , get that !
Service was good and so was the food. Friendly staff, too.
The upper level was really hot. The atmosphere was nice overall. We were seated on time. The food was not right. The birthday girls burger was burnt and I was charged for a drink I didn’t drink. The salads were without cheese. The chicken in my pasta was dry. The ribs were dry and burnt on the bottom. The serve was clearly over worked. Although she did the best she could.
The hostess gave exceptional service when our
We love the salmon with oriental vegggies here, as well as the great service and the overall upscale premed. The place is quiet enough to have table conversation, yet there are sports tv shows on.
My reservation was made 5 hours in advance for 6:15 but they had no record of it when I arrived at 6:05. Took 30 minutes to push 2 tables together and another 10 for a server to get there. After that, service, food, and value were all good.
Got there had reservations and waited 15 min and never got seated empty tables everywhere and people standing at the door waiting. We walked out
Nice atmosphere and great, attentive service. The waiter was not pushy or overly talkative which allowed my group and I to simply enjoy the experience.
Keep trying to give this Friday's a chance since it is so conveniently located. There was literally no one inside the restaurant when we arrived. Quick to our table and taking orders. Then never checking back. One whole part of an order came as everyone else was finishing. At this Friday's it's hard to tell if its' the bar/kitchen's fault for slow service or server. They've changed the menu. Took off a couple of items we liked. In spite of the poor service the food is good...especially anything with the Jack Daniels glaze. But my gosh, this restaurant is in a primo location on Olive and because of horrible drinks and service I don't want to go back.
PLEASE HIRE MORE HELP AND TEACH YOUR BARTTENDERS HOW TO MAKE DRINKS!!
We went for a late dinner, and the service was excellent, our server was friendly . We chose TGI Fridays because we wanted healthier and full balanced meal options. The food tasted very good. I would have given an overall Very Good 4 star rating, except we happened to sit in a booth by the bar that had an air vent right above it, and the air blew and we were freezing! So the food and service were great, but just quite uncomfortable to fully enjoy our evening. We'll definitely go back, regardless.
I have never been disappointed from what I have ordered from Fridays. It is one of our go-to places to eat out with a small group.
Service was OK, but slow. Seemed like they didn't have enough wait staff. Same with the kitchen staff. Some food arrived well cooked, other food arrived that was not quite done. The manager replaced the "not quite done" food with another entree, but didn't comp us for the experience.
Great service (Anna).
Better than I remember. Not exactly upscale, but the food was good, the beer was cold, the service was fast and friendly, all in all, a nice family dining option.
Way too loud. One waitress turned it down a bit, but still very rediculous. Food took to long to come out. Not even hot. Bad experience!
Noise level was high.
Typical Friday's. Good food and service. My only issue with out most recent visit was the timing of the salads and entrees. Salads were slow in coming out and the main entree came out before we were finished with our salads. Timing is everything!
Our waiter was phenomenal! When I come back I’ll definitely be asking for his section
1. Very small portions, salmon was maybe 4 ounces.
2. Substituted broccoli for rice, received double order of broccoli, no spinach. When pointed out to server that the spinach was missing, it was never corrected.
3. Salad..............arrived after dinner finished.
Didn’t get my points. My wife’s meal was 10 minutes after the others. My grandson waited 15 min. for his sliders to come.
We waited 20 min. for a waiter when we first sat down.
Baby back ribs are removed from the menu.
I went there for the baby backs.
The big ribs are toooo fatty.
I believe you might be planning to close this location by the food and service we received.
It was very crowded. They were out of several things server seemed overwhelmed.
For a Christmas night dinner, this worked out pretty well given the crowds. Our server made sure that our food and drinks were not forgotten.
We had a variety of burgers, salads, and chicken dinners. Everyone seemed happy with what they ate and drank.
Love TGIF and the food is always good. The noise level was terrible on Xmas afternoon though.
Burgers were really good as usual. Never had a bad meal at Fridays!
Fridays is always good, never have a bad meal there
Wasn't even busy for a beautiful Tuesday evening at 7:15. Seated immediately through Open Table. Waiter had trouble waiting on 3 tables. Took drink orders and I've never seen such a mess from the bar...to the point the bartender came and asked what I ordered...and still couldn't get simple soda and liquor correct. One of kids drinks took over an hour to get!! Once the food did come, after an hour, my food was totally cold while others were hot. That is NOT a well run kitchen. They did make a new dish to take home. It should not have taken longer than an hour to get drinks and food. We were there for over an hour and half.
I keep giving this Friday's a chance and it continues to disappoint. I will not be going back.
Great birthday lunch for my mom's 88th birthday! Our waitress was very attentive to the needs of our table! She was amazing!
The food was alright, but the main concern was there was a pile of trash, they had swept out from under our table, still on the floor, with a broom propped up on the table across from us. The hostess said "I will get that", never did. We told our server, nothing!! I finally got up and swept up the mess and left the broom where it was. Never did see a manager. Sadly this is what we remember about Friday's.
A forgettable experience! When we arrived, we checked in at the front desk as usual. We said we had an Open Table reservation. The hostess replied -- "Oh, you don't need one now because we are not busy." So I said, "Open Table will get on our case if you don't check us in as having arrived." To which she replied, "Oh, I didn't know that." Needless to say, we insisted she check us in to her dismay. Open Table might want to reconsider using this restaurant as part of your reservation system!
We thought making a reservation on Open Table meant we had a reservation. We arrived on time and were told there would be 20 minute wait! And we weren't done waiting once seated. We waited to get menus, then waited a LONG time to get drinks. Then when our food came it was awful. I ordered barbecue flat bread and it tasted like it was made in the morning and re-heated in the microwave. Sadly, this is the last time we will be going to Fridays. :-(
We were a party of nine we had a wonderful brunch our waiter was spectacular he made everything so nice. We were not disappointed everyone was lovely
We were there for Mother's Day and the food and service were excellent. The Cobb salad had a mix of lettuces and a generous amount of meat and veggie toppings.
The server was nice but the services was very slow. We ordered two entrees one came out cold. Overall the restaurant looked old and dirty. We will not be back.
We were seated promptly. Took 15 minuets to just get a drink. Understaffed. Stemware and silverware dirty. Food was very good.
They did not honor the reservations made. Food was awful and service was slow. It was also freezing cold inside.
