TGI FRIDAYS - Brookfield
They could not find the reservation. Thought it was because there were only 2 people.
When we walked in, a host got us ready to be seated, but shortly after a second host appeared and asked where we were being placed. Understandable, but then they had a small disagreement in front of us where we should sit. My husband and I were with our 2 young children and just wanted to be sat.
Once we were, the server did not show up to our table for 10-15 minutes. If the restaurant was busy, again understandable, but it wasn’t.
Service was slow and the food was over priced for the portion size. In general this was fine, but not great.
Restaurant was slightly busy but we sat there for 10 minutes without being greeted, waitress was completely overwhelmed, drink refills took extremely long, steak was way overdone and burger was raw. We barely ate anything and we were there almost 2hrs with 4 people because the food so long to come out. Would not recommend.
Made a reservation with open table and they told us they do not use this app. Had to wait 30min
Service was poor
Did not bring correct food
Cook missing on Christmas
While our server was very nice, the restaurant is clearly understaffed. We ordered an appetizer that never came. When our food was being delivered, I asked about the appetizer which the server thought had been delivered. The manager delivered a fresh one with our meal at no charge which was nice. I ordered steak and ribs but the ribs didn’t come out. The server eventually let me know that she was trying to get the ribs but by this time the rest of my party had finished so I had it dropped from the order. Someone in my party got pasta with Alfredo sauce. It was weird because it had the texture of the sauce but it had absolutely no taste. The food was mediocre. Not horrible but not great. All in all we were there for 1.5 hours to only get some of our order. Would not recommend til they get fully staffed.
Fridays did not know that I made a reservation on Open Table when we arrived. They were not prepared. First they shoved all seven of us in a booth for five people. Then we had to wait til they put two other tables together. Our waitress told us that several servers did not show up for work. As a result we waited quite some time before our server could even take our drink orders. The one bartender looked like he cared less about serving us. They were very short of help, and the place was fairly empty. The food was good. I will not go back to this particular Fridays again. It was the same as the last time I was there about a month ago.
There is just something about this restaurant that is mismanaged. Either they are understaffed or inexperienced or both. We will not be coming back again.
Only saw 3 servers for the restaurant. [May have been others we didn't see] these 3 were really hustling. Is corporate cutting back on service? Bad choice!
Great food great drinks great service could not ask for anything more
Poor service, dirty menus, and took forever to get our food.
It was pretty slow so I was surprised when it took a while for the food to arrive. It was good but they forgot bacon on my friends sandwich but that was rectified right away. In the end the waitress was a little slow to arrive with check because she got 2 more tables. It was a decent meal for the price.
Everything was good, but restaurant was not very clean. Our table had to be cleaned and servers were putting dirty dishes on a booth table where they were piling up.
We ordered lunch for a table of 5 with two kids. The kids entrees came out 10 minutes before ours. Then my wife and I got our food and then had to wait another 5 minutes until our last order came out. Not very organized in preparation for food service delivery.
Family outing was not great. The host looked annoyed and angry. The waiting staff was no better. Drinks took 15-20 minutes before reaching the table and was never asked for refills. The appetizers tasted like their frozen food reheated from the grocery store. The entrees were just as bad with presentation and taste. We use to go here a lot years ago and wanted to take our kids out but obviously it’s changed a lot. Go to Chilis, Apple Bees or anywhere else.
Good experience, got the seating we asked for. Nice service.
TGIF rewards program is great. Had a filet and it was wonderful. Quality you'd expect in a steakhouse.
Worst experience that I have ever had at a restaurant! Service was very slow. I waited an hour and a half for my food to come out. When the food finally arrived I still only got half of what I ordered! Waitress try serving me uncooked shrimp. The manager was very rude and disrespectful when I bought up the issue about my food and bad service. I was with two other people and we all had some type of issue with the food and service
By far the worst dining experience in recent memory. Made online reservations prior to arrival, was told the system was down and it would be a 30 min wait. Five open booths in plain sight as my wife and I waited for 45 mins to be seated. Overheard the host had only been working there about 1 week and was clearly overwhelmed. Once seated, service was fine and food was decent however it was now well after 8 pm and a 2 hour experience. Restaurant is poorly managed and it’s shocking that the doors to this place remain open.
Food was not great, just ok. Service was very slow.
I’m glad I could use this app and get a reservation at the time I wanted! The alcoholic drinks were awesome and the food was good although not sure who go the order a bit wrong the waiter or the cooks. Everything was fixed and we enjoyed the night and the conversation with the waiter.
Good food but service was awful!! Spent more time waiting for our food and bill than actually eating. One of the people in our party got the wrong meal and it took over 30 minutes for her correct meal. Spent over 3 hours there- 90% was waiting for everything. Server rarely came back to check on us during that 3 hours... definitely don’t recommend this place
I originally stopped at a local steakhouse however, because they were packed, I decided to use open table app to make a reservation. Available at a few places but chose TGIF as they had something available in 20 min (7pm). We arrived at 650pm and this place was full as well with about 15 people waiting in the lobby. I approached the host and they said there is a wait. I mentioned I had reservations at 7 and they told me because we had reservations we would be next but they mentioned that several people were missing work and so they are running behind. I said ok and walked around the corner to a place to sit at the bar waiting for them. 7 pm came and I stepped back over by the host and they told me it should be soon. I waited at the bar again where I was asked if I wanted drinks , I declined as the I thought the host would come soon but thanked her for asking. At 706p the host came and got us and sat us back in the booths. This was a comfortable area and had quite a few interesting things to look at. The server came about 5 min later, told us about a few things on the menu and since we knew what we wanted we ordered drinks and appetizers right away. It took about 10min for the drinks and another 7 min for appetizers. You could tell the server was quite busy and many more others filled in the tables around us. We waited another 15 for the food and it arrived as ordered. I will mention that the broccoli was a bit overdone on my plate but was ok on the other plate. I was hungry and I ate it anyway. The steak was made as ordered and food was hot. The server stopped over several times and asked how the food was. He also kept my glass of lemonade full although one time he filled it with water and once I told him he apologized and promptly fixed it. The server in my opinion, based on how busy it was, did a great job. He was attentive yet not overbearing. As for the atmosphere, it did get really noisy with a crying child but as a parent you accept this. I will be back again
We went with another family of 3 on a Sat night. Both of the wive’s food were made wrong (asked for a deletion of onions or peppers only). My wife’s food came out first. When the other plate came out it was still wrong. A manager worked to fix the issue. Our server did not come back very often, so we had to flag her down. At the end of our meal the other couple ordered ice cream for their son. They specifically asked for ice cream w/ just chocolate sauce. It came out with carmel sauce and whip cream which their son won’t eat. No offer was made to comp the one entree or for a free dessert, etc. On our previous visit I ordered my favorite dish and discovered they reduced the portion size of it. A small piece of chicken with some broccoli came out. I was still hungry after we ate so we stopped for a burger on our way home. Overall, sadly this is not a place I will come back to again. It used to be better but has declined.
Excellent desserts! We had fun with good friends and good desserts.
Food Good, reasonable price, reasonable atmosphere, and no wait.
This was my first time that I went to this restaurant at this location and I was very disappointment about the services overall. The waiter was inattentive.. He did not get the food that I requested. He overcharged me and I had to go back up there to straight out my receipt. I call first and the manager gave me the wrong information. I then called again and the manager hung the phone upon on me. I then went to the restaurant. I was very angry and I then I raise my voice. The threaten to call the police. I did calm down and the problem was taken care of. I did apologize. I will not ever go back to Friday's.
Horrible. Table not cleaned off. Salmon grilled too long, dry. Replaced with Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta. Nothing Cajun about it. Not flavorful. Barely any chicken. Cakes that were included with 2 for 20 deal were tiny and not moist at all. Smaller that cupcakes. Despite the food debacle, the service was good. The waitress smiled and was in good spirits. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
Service was a bit if a disappointment. Our waiter kept forgetting to get things we asked for. Also, one of our appetizers, Buffalo Flatbread, came out cold. Everything else was fine.
Celebrated a Birthday with the family. Good food and nice atmosphere!
We went when it was 97 degrees put and the restaurant felt like it was 75 degrees. Could have been colder inside, but service was FANTASTIC
We loved, loved, loved our server, his name was Marquis (Not sure of the spelling.....but I think the name is right)! The manager gave some free coupons to the two birthday celebrants. Thanks so much to all the staff we had a great time!
The food was good...the service left something to be desired...
I only gave such a poor review because I expected to be seated right away since I made reservations. My family was in for a rude awakening and when we got there and were told the wait was 45 minutes! I explained to the young lady at the front that I had reservations, but she really didn’t care.
I’ve never had this problem before using the Open Table App and do plan on using it again. It’s just frustrating when things don’t work out and we could’ve used our efforts to go somewhere else from the start!
Waiter was professional & polite. Did not receive what I ordered, and same happened with table across from us. It was not busy at all so no reason for that. This Fridays location needs some major improvements.
We arrived early (a little after 11:00 am and were greeted immediately once inside. Server was very pleasant however, I specifically asked that my bun from my burger be served on the side and it wasn’t. Other than that, everything was great.
From the start the server never seemed to be able to be timely and stay ahead. Ordered drinks immediately and it took at least 10 minutes to get them. He always seemed to be missing when we needed him. It seems like every time we have visited there is something we are unimpressed with.
When we said we made open table reservation they gave us a blank look and had no tablet or computer screen!!! We waited a very long time for the drinks to be delivered and the food was mediocre. We both ordered a 6 oz sirloin but it didn’t have a lot of flavor and was a bit overdone . In defense of our server he did ask us to cut into the steak, and I said it was ok, but I chose not to wait longer than we did for our meal. The south side location seems to take care of business s lot better, but they too have their issues saying they can’t access Open Table!!
