   My wife and I started going to this chain for their $5 cheese burgers which are to die for. They stopped doing the $5 ones and have an enormous $10 one that is just awesome. My wife had the full rack of Jack Daniels ribs and she loved them, fall off the bone. So the promotion worked, got us in the restaurant and the great food and affordable drinks will keep us going back if the servers will take advantage of new diners like us it should be a hit. Our waiter was good, nice personality, but rarely seen. We will go back, we own a business right down the street. If you try this one you will like it and it may become a favorite.

   I thought TGI Fridays would be more busy on a Friday night, but it was manageable. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. I had a steak, broccoli and mashed potatoes and it was all delicious. We didn't feel rushed at all. Nice meal!

   TGI is always a great fun place to eat and hang out. Tasty food and love their rewards program.

   I have been to many TGIF's in different areas and states. This one in Amherst exceeded my expectations. Very friendly, great service and the food was hot and tasty. I am from NY so the experiences aren't always so good. I like the small town feel and would definitely visit again when I am in town.

   Slow service due to being understaffed. Food was ok, not fresh. Our waitress however was great!

   It's a TGI Friday's. You don't expect gourmet food, just simple food well prepared. We got that. The server was on top of things as well. All pluses.

   They still don't have the Open Table app working properly. I still need to call ahead to be sure my reservation is active. When I say I have an Open Table reservation the hostess says if it's busy they give phone reservations priority. The 2 systems don't seem to get along with each other. Call ahead to be sure. I was expecting Open Table to cite me as a No-Show because they couldn't pull me up on the screen. It's too bad because we like the food, especially the new Asian Sizzling platter. Tastes like in a Chinese restaurant

   Only reason we went was for teenager birthday dinner request. Hosts were slow but not really friendly either. Bar service was slow. Bartender did change channel on tv for us. Server did not note any specials or deals. Wings were over cooked burgers were over cooked. Kitchen was slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty.

    We go to TGIF Amherst about once a month. (We're from Massachusetts, so it's a special trek for us). They don't seem to be engaged in Open Table the way we are used to it. When we arrived, we were told there was about a twenty minute wait. I said Open Table reservations usually assure we'll be seated within 15 minutes, and as I looked at the computer screen as the hostess checked my reservation, I saw that we were the only reservation for the 6:30 time slot. She told us that they also had telephone reservations and the ones that come in over their landline took priority over Open Table reservations. My understanding of Open Table is that it shouldn't work that way. I asked to speak to the manager at the end of our dinner and told her this had nothing to do with our server - Austin was great and apologetic for the long wait we had for our dinner. He said one of our dinners had fallen on the floor in the kitchen and they had to prepare another for us. The manager said the Open Table app wasn't working correctly and they frequently had problems with it. It looks like they need some help integrating Open Table with their telephone reservation procedure. The dinner itself was fine when it finally came. I had the Chickenand Shrimp Sizzling Platter, my wife had the Chicken and Cheese Sizzling platter. Both were cooked well as usual. We'll be back again, but I guess I'll call ahead as well as use Open Table
