   Best Friday’s I’ve been to in Texas. The service was great, the food was hot and good, and not too pricy. I will come back again!!

   This morning restaurant has always been slow. Once it took us 45 minutes to get our meal once we ordered. This time was 30 minutes for the appetizers alone. We were a party of 12 on New Years Eve so gratuity was already figured in. One of our burgers was raw and not edible but we didn’t want to send it back. The pasta was obviously under the warmer for a while since it was super rubbery. This place will be closed soon. On NYE it was only still 30% full.

   TGIFriday's has some of the best baby back ribs in Dallas. Add in the Thursday special and 2 side dishes and it is a "huge winner!" Sean our server was really good too.

    Eating at TGI Friday's reminded me of all the reasons why Americans no longer embrace chained restaurants. I haven't been to TGI Friday's in over 2 years, and the last time before that was 5 or 6 years prior. The only reason I went tonight was because I received a 20% off coupon in the mail - which they didn't even recognize was their own coupon. So where do I begin..? 1st, I requested a booth when booking on Open Table and the moron host sat us at a table with chairs even though there were over a dozen booths available. Then it took 10 minutes before our waitress came to our table. Then it took 5 minutes to get our drinks. Then it took 25 minutes to get our entrees. Then they screwed up my order and gave me a chicken Sandwhich, when I ordered a burger. Then I took a bite into my burger and it was medium rare even though I ordered it well done. Then I looked around and noticed numerous other people were upset. Two people complained to the manager. One person's alcoholic beverage was watered down and another person had been sitting there prior to several other tables who were all getting their food before them. The manager didn't seem to care. He was totally clueless. Instead of managing the restaurant and the staff, the manager was mindlessly running food to tables. A manager is supposed to lead, NOT reduce himself to doing his subordinates job. Beyond all of that, what was most disturbing is that it was 6:00 when we arrived, which is well before peak hours. 70% of the restaurant was empty. There were less than 12 tables seated and there were 6 - 8 waiters, yet everyone working there were running around like the building was on fire. It was total chaos. If this is how they operate at 6:00, I'd hate to see how they manage this place during the evening. It was a total s**t show! Never again will I eat at this 1990's throw back. It's a reminder of the bad old days when chained restaurants ruled the roost. Thank God those days are over.
