Very good food with large potions and great service.
Nice staff, good service, good atmosphere, great parking access. Too bad they are trying to be TexMex. Poor execution of that. Food is not terrible but mostly bland. Brisket egg rolls are basically brisket in an egg role wrap. nothing else in it. and not much flavor. This place would be a perfect place for a beach side restaurant theme or Island theme. It feels like you are at a beach side restaurant except for the menu. The menu is unimaginative as is the execution of the dishes. I would go here a lot of they were a different theme with a better menu.
The concept had potential. The location is great, the outdoor patio is so cute and nice atmosphere to dine in. Even the live music was great.
The food and service need major work. The staff was pleasant but forgot everything we asked for and spent a lot of time hanging out with themselves inside.
The food - find the flavor. It’s a decent idea with a better chef. The food is all bland and everything built around wet meat could work if it had taste. We were so excited about the birria ramen, but wet meat on soba noodles wasn’t it. We got home and saw Guy Fieri have a BBQ place serving brisket with ramen and it was amazing, and nothing like what we received. Again a better chef and this would be great. We’ll give it some time and see if they work out the bugs because the spot is great and we like the concept. Just better execution is needed.
The waitress and the guy in training were very polite and helpful. The chicken barbecue sandwich on Texas Toast with a healthy
Serving of Cole slaw was delicious! The collard greens were just right! One of the GM’s stopped by our table (we ate outside on the patio) and he was very nice. We want to back for live music on the deck!
Great service, average food at best, trying to look fancy.
Love, love, love this neighborhood gem. Great quality food.
Casua atmosphere and great food! Wish I discovered it sooner! Highly recommend!
I liked the vibe of the restaurant but the music choice was questionable
Very good food and service. Live music was good. Enjoyed visiting with the owner.
We came here on Valentine's Day and it was busy but the greeting and service by the friendly staff and owner was excellent! They had a guitar player/singer for entertainment and he was very good without being intrusive and the food was terrific. Would definitely recommend a visit and we plan to come back again!
We had a very nice Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. I saw some reviews that it was too loud with live music but we didn’t notice any problems.
It’s a bit small and tight with a single bathroom in the middle of the restaurant but we enjoyed it and will be happy to return.
The menu is pleasantly diverse but as first time patrons we only ordered burgers with Swiss cheese, sweet potato fries and a coke all of which tasted great. The server was exceptionally knowledgeable of the menu items. We'll be back to enjoy other pairings and the live music.
Loved our dinner at Chipper's. It's a fun "hole in the wall" local restaurant.
We love the fact that it is privately owned. The feel is super casual, but the food is terrific.
Will definitely return.
Celebrated a really good friend's birthday here on Friday. I found a hidden gem. There was live music.... great singer. Customer service is phenomenal. We started with the fried green tomatoes. They were really good... crispy. I'm a sauce person so I asked for extra of the habanero jelly. The birthday girl got the Caribbean pasta and she loved it. I did too but I'm allergic to shrimp so I could only try one small forkful. I got the salmon. It was a really good piece of salmon. There was a hiccup with my dish but that happens sometimes at restaurants. The question is how do they handle it. When I tell you it was handled so well I kept the five stars. The owner came by several times to make sure everything was fine. The chef even came out to check on us. That's great customer service. I can't wait for the weather to get warmer. They have an awesome patio. I will definitely return. There are so many things on the menu I want to try!
My husband and I came to Chipper's for the first time tonight. And I'm very happy we did. The live music added a great ambiance and everyone who worked there was very welcoming- including the owner who clearly cares very much about his establishment. Their drink menu offers some unique options and their food did not disappoint! My husband was thrilled with his catfish, grits, okra and greens. It tasted like home. Just watch out for the homemade hot sauce... it packs a punch! I thoroughly enjoyed the Caribbean pasta. We can't wait to come back!
Sat at the bar to eat dinner, which we like to do. Greeted by friendly owner, and chatted a few times. Food and everything was great. One man band playing guitar and singing was nice. Will definitely go back often.
Very loud but with the Friday night musician and the small space completely full it was a really fun place to be. We sat at the bar and the woman there was just wonderful. We had excellent Korean glass noodles with shrimp and skirt steak. Good beer and brownie ice cream for dessert. Just a fun place. We will definitely return.
This was our second time at Chipper's Club. We went with friends for Roswell Restaurant Week. One of our party ordered off the menu and the other three ordered from the RRW menu. Everyone was satisfied with their food. The "appetizer" of hummus was way too much for one person. It should be listed for 2 or more. Chocolate cake was outstanding. Service was attentive and very friendly. (There were only about 8 people in the place, including us, but it was fairly early.)
I personally do not care for the looks of the place nor the layout of the room. I'm sure it's a busy place when the outside deck is in use.
It's not a great location at the moment, located on the main thruway and way off Canton Street, where most of the social activity takes place.
Would highly recommend this place to any of my friends!
Great first experience for lunch, and the food exceeded expectations!
We had a delightful dinner at Chipper's before the theatre in Roswell on a Saturday night. Heavy rains caused some of their partrons to cancel apparently, but we preserved through the tornado warnings and are glad we did!!! The theatre didn't cancel their show so we decided we would keep our dinner plans too! The food was wonderful, the owner so kind and caring and the chef brought out or meal! How nice is that! In addition, the fellow playing music at Chippers that evening was absolutely amazingly talented and we were so happy to hear him play. A perfect evening!
Perfectly executed menu. Incredibly hospitable staff. Could use some fresh paint on the bead board.
But not on live music night. The performer was great, but it was too loud.
Had a great night at Chippers! The owner Carl went out of his way to greet guests by name- and was making sure everyone was having a great time! They also had live music which was great. Looking forward to going back and enjoying the patio!
We were there for the Vickery Mill PTA night so it was a bit loud with all of the small kids but it was extremely good food in a nice cozy atmosphere.
Small place. Music in one room very loud. Sat by a party of 10 and the noise level was very high. Music in one ear and party of 10 in the other. Nothing spectacular about the menu- usual southern fare. Portions good size. Couldn’t wait to finish my meal and leave.
Our drinks came out too watery. And our food was okay, but not worth the price. Sides aren't included with the burger and the sweet potato fries I did include, came out under cooked.
Very friendly staff, enjoyed the pork rinds so was optimistic about the meal. I had the carne con pappas and my wife had the seared tuna. The steak was listed as inside skirt but came out as just thin sliced steak that did not appear to be inside skirt. I ordered medium and it came out well done, completely under seasoned and pretty dry. The potatoes were flavorless and the dish was overall uninspiring. My wife’s tuna was fine but the noodles that came with it were also flavorless other than the overwhelming taste of sesame oil. Overall, much better options out there, especially for the price
Good service, good food great experience
A friendly neighborhood feel with a destinct and diverse menu. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They had live music the night that we were there. We are definitely looking forward to the next time we are able to dinner at Chipper's Club!
The restaurant is very unassuming when you pull up and then go in. Don't let that fool you. Our server was great. Friendly, outgoing and very help full with suggestions from the menu. All our meals were very good and included substantial portions. It's a small and relaxed atmosphere. A nice place to sit back, relax and enjoy the your meal
We enjoyed it with the live music it will become a family favorite
Great food, loved the live music, service was wonderful. Will be a family favorite!
It was a wonderful experience... from servers to food, they all provided a memorable and delicious experience!
