   My only complaint was there were not enough "gauchos" walking around. The wait time was to long. Our server Moe was fantastic and recommend sitting in his section.

   This is the second time that we have visited Texas de Brazil the first was at Crocker Park the second time, yesterday, Woodmere for my birthday dinner. Everything was excellent. The dining area had a great ambiance. The food was amazing. The only complaint I have is that our hot sides were brought out a little late. But we really didn't want those anyway. And I thoroughly enjoyed my complimentary chocolate cake for my birthday. We will be going back again in October for our anniversary. Looking forward to another great experience.

   The food was delicious, as always. We loved the addition of the large capers at the salad bar as well as the French fries as a side. The only thing that was not great was the service, and it was very not great. We ran out of water multiple times and only saw our server twice after she took our drink order. We were done eating and waiting for the check for over 20 minutes when I finally had to go up to the front desk and request my check. The young woman at the front desk said she would have our server bring us our check--the woman at the desk ended up bringing it to us after a few minutes, with our server nowhere to be found. This is the only time we received bad service here. The restaurant was not busy at the time. We will still dine here again, but hopefully we'll get a better waitress next time.

   Too expensive for what you get. I’d rather get an entree and take home leftovers. But I am not a fan of the all you can eat buffet model. I didn’t realize that’s what it was until we got there. The food was interesting and good.

   The food was amazing. The salad/ side bar was well stocked and the cold foods were cold and the hot foods hot. There was a good variety. Our service was terrible. We went through the buffet and got out plates before our sodas were brought to the table. I could understand if we ordered bar drinks but we both got sodas. Actually, every refill took a super long time. Our check took so long to arrive, we thought maybe our meal had been comped. I'm not sure if she had too many tables or what but for service where all you really do is take drink orders, it was pretty horrible.

   We took our son & daughter along with 4 of their friends to celebrate Birthdays and Law school graduation. We were extremely disappointed with the entire experience. Once we were all seated, the waitress asks us how we all like a meats cooked. Not sure why she asked us because all the meats came out well done. When half of the party said Med rare. She never explained that we were free to go to the salad bar. Once the first meat came out we had to wait 10-15 for something else to come out. Also they only brought 4 different meats and chicken around. We had to continually ask for water refills. She never checked in with us. Had to remind her we were there for Birthdays. When you are paying so much money, one would think that there would be servers to make everyone have a better experience. We had to change our time to 7:45. I felt that the back of the house was busy cleaning up so they could be gone by closing time, 9pm. If just really felt like we weren’t being treated as a group that maybe came in much earlier. I truly do not see us going back again because there are other places to go for the amount of money Texas de Brazil costs.

    Texas de Brazil is my favorite restaurant by far. My favorite is the Parmesan pork. Yesterday it was overcooked.

    Server arrived and explained how they deliver food and told us to help ourselves to salad bar while she grabbed drinks, bread, and meat plates. When she returns, I am presented with someone else’s check mid salad. 30 minutes later, I had to stop the passing manager as it had been 30 minutes with no drinks. Manager returned with drinks & server with bread. Server was non existent until the end where after we had been sitting waiting for the check, she filled water 3 times before having to be asked to grab the check as that’s all we were waiting on.

    A lot of the meats were burned and didn’t have the quality I expected. There were a total of 2-3 meats out at a time which made the wait much longer. I went for Mother’s Day and was upset my mother wasn’t wowed like I knew she should be. I had to keep explaining that “that” usually tastes better and “this” is much better.

    As soon as we were seated, the hostess told us we had one hour to eat because there were reservations, which we had a reservation. Then the meat servers were abrupt and rude. Slamming the sword on the table. The meat tasted like it had been reheated from the night before. Too well done, even though we were told it would be served medium rare. Our server was very inattentive. It took forever to get our check, which was ironic because we were told we were under a time constraint—a very expensive meal for poor service and underwhelming food.

    Honestly. It’s gross. It is so so dirty, the floor is so slippery from grease it’s hard to walk around, the women’s bathroom had a layer of filth over everything, and the floors/toilets very obviously had not been cleaned the night/morning before we arrived at 11am for Mother’s Day brunch. All 6 of the meats I tried were dry and needed salt. They also charge full price for all children, no matter the age. I was rather disgusted I paid $500 for it all.

    The food was slow and often very over cooked- which is unusual based on previous visits. The waitress hardly checked on us, our cups were almost always empty and the plates were never cleared. When the meat DID come around it was seasoned perfectly. We requested a medium/medium rare meat 6 different times before it finally came to us as we were leaving. The cheesecakes we ordered were divine.

    Many meats were overcooked and dry.we even had to send back the al a carte lamb chops became they were well done. The lobster bisque was flavorless. Service was great though. I won’t return to this location. We will go back to westlake.

    Waitress was MIA. I got my cocktail in the middle of the meats; 2nd cocktail came after dessert. Plates were all over the table making clean plates difficult which are necessary for buffets. We had a hard time getting water, our primary beverage. My husband never got his iced tea after asking 3 times. Waitress was nice and apologetic but we needed service though we tried to be understanding. The food was excellent and fresh; the meats were hot when cut. But the service made the experience hard to enjoy. My daughter even got upset because I kept looking for service help. It was my daughter's birthday which added additional frustration to our party of 4. We LOVE Texas de Brazil but this time was a huge disappointment.

    Even though we booked we had to wait 25’ to be seated. No mention at any point of what it costs to eat there and at $50 a head it is way overpriced for what is basically a buffet.

    Our server Amanda was AMAZING! She explained how everything works, for our first time visiting. She was lovely and respectful and very professional. I would plan to come again (and bring more friends!) precisely because of the great service we received... and because the food was great! : )

    I felt the meal salad and meat was borderline overpriced. I spent $70 +tip for the meal including desert, and ginger ale. I wish I had paid closer to $50 or 60 plus tip. the service was very good the waitress did not hover over my party. I got prompt meat service, and plenty of refills on the drink order. It is good place for special occasions maybe a place I'd visit twice a year. Outside of slight annoyance with the price I had a good time.

    Food excellent. Different kinds of meat served hot off the grill. Was it worth $50 per person? Perhaps not unless you just want to go on occasionally for special things. I would think that for $50 per person drinks would be included and possibly something sweet on the salad/hot food bar for those who don't want to spend extra money on drinks and desserts.

    Service was great and we loved the experience of the meal overall, but found most of the side dishes to be either lackluster or unfortunately cold upon arrival to our table. As far as the meats that were served, we found everything to be flavorful and well prepared.
