Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Texas de Brazil.
As always, the food was great. Leon, our server, was attentive and friendly. I wish the salad papers that we have to complete had larger font. I didn't have reading glasses with me and could not read the choices.
My dude leo was incredible waiter. He was on top of everything.
We were seated right next to the open kitchen which wasn't ideal... sometimes smokey and seeing the amount of salt added to meat was alarming. Meals came with sides of mashed potatoes and plantains which were both very good. Disappointing that we could not visit the salad bar ourselves but understandable with Covid. They had a nice system of ordering items and they were delivered directly to table. WAY too many plates though because everything was brought at once. The lobster bisque was dreadful; tasted like bad canned soup. Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. We almost felt attacked with meat in the beginning and later on almost felt ignored even though we had our green circles showing. Server was very friendly as were all staff members. They were out of first and second choice beer, as well as a red wine by the glass. Birthday dessert with a candle was a nice touch. We all felt quite dehydrated later that evening. This was our first visit and I'm not sure we will return any time soon.
It was very nice. We will return for dinner again.
Always great food and service. No complaints. We go there just about every month.
It was very disappointing that there was an upcharge for the lamb chops, and we can't understand why? Also, had to buy a bottle of wine instead of being able to order a glass, this was $$$, not happy about that either. Meal was good, very consistent every time.
This was the worst dining experience I can recall. Waiter never asked if we wanted drinks. I ordered the salad bar only and waited approx. 45 minute for this arrive at which point the other diners were done so I sent it back but was still charged for it.
I would have asked for the manager to take it off the bill but my father was choking from some meat stuck in his throat and I wanted to get him home.
Leon was our server. He did an excellent job. The entire staff was very attentive, the food was delicious, hot and well presented.
The waitress was less than attentive to our table. The restaurant was not busy. We have had better experiences at other Texas de Brazil than the Woodmere location .
Server was inattentive. Had to request drink menu and not brought till middle of meal. Only one of meats was tasty. Bread was cold. The hot sides were brought in very small dishes for two people (plus child) and hard to get server's attention when needed anything. New system for delivering salads and soups does not work well -- takes forever and received halfway through eating meats. Far too expensive for what we received.
The service was amazing, the food was very good , was surprised they had lamb cause on a review I read they said they took it off.. excellent food
Service horrible. Food was horrible other then meet and salad. Took almost an hour to get salad. Ice water no Ice
We were excited to come to celebrate our anniversary. Although our reservation specified it, the anniversary wasn’t acknowledged. The staff was not friendly, and we barely got any food. Sadly, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Greeter was awesome, bar tender also fantastic......server not so great. Forgot to give us water, rarely checked on us, took 30min to get my salad after my husband got his and gave the wrong dessert
Waited 12 minutes to be seated after reserving our seats five hours ahead. Then we didn’t receive our silverware or cups or anything till after we had to get up from our seats and request service. Spent 33 minutes to get food.
Excellent service. Great food. Amazing drinks. Definitely coming again
Our server neglected the fact that it was my sons birthday, she barely came by our table and it took forever for her to fill up our beverages. She didn’t clear off our table and brought dessert which we didn’t know wasn’t part of the buffet. Overall, service was horrible but the food was good. I requested for more top sirloin and never got it even though I told my server a couple times about it. Management did absolutely nothing about the situation and I wish we went somewhere else. My son didn’t feel special on his birthday because I guess she forgot or something even though we specified multiple times on the reservation as well as in person. All the other tables that were celebrating birthdays got a dessert with a candle....except for my boy. Morgan get a new job..serving isn’t for you.
Great experience! We miss some of the things that used to be on the salad bar, but overall still a fantastic place to eat!!
Nice. Things were slow... both times I went, but the food is amazing. Waiting for the buffet to open back up and this place will be 5 stars all day!
Went for our anniversary and felt very safe and clean.
Horrible! Loud, waited 20 minutes (with reservation, “it reserves a seat, not a table” 20 minutes for drinks. Staff too worried about distancing in loud restaurant and couldn’t hear a word they were saying.
Will not return
Was so excited to come here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We typically fine dining but I thought the atmosphere online looked moody and romantic and what man doesn’t love all you can eat protein? With that being said, our expectations were wayyyy too high for this place. We were seated at a two top in the corner where a worker told me we shouldn’t sit next time because the meat is never delivered to this particular table because it all goes to the first room. I asked 7 yes 7 different people to bring me filet that wasn’t bacon wrapped. It was such an impossible task that I did not receive it until I complained to the server and we were cashing out. I did enjoy the filet along with my cold sides. The ambiance is reminiscent of a school cafeteria where you’re far too close to the next table and the entire room is very very loud. The food that we had the chance of enjoying was okay. Our server Melissa mentioned how she felt neglected us. She was right. We will not be returning. If you’re looking for a nice warm atmosphere with some privacy and good food just go somewhere else
Delicious food and made his birthday special 🎈
Some of the 4 top tables alittle small
It's an amazing dining experience. Best meat on the planet. Terrific service.
Top quality service and food.
So being a self proclaimed meat enthusiast, I had high hopes for Texas de Brazil and for the most part, it fulfilled my expectations. Our waiter was extremely friendly and was constantly checking in on our group. If we needed drinks, they were promptly brought out. If we needed more sides, they were there. However, where my disappointment arises is the meat service. The meat was tasty (salty) and was brought out constantly at first. However, as the night went on, they literally stopped bringing us meat. Our waiter kept asking if we wanted more and we said yes...but nothing was brought out. Finally, we just got bored and left.
Food was good, service was just okay. Server forgot an item and post Covid dining instructions were not fully explained to me seeing as though we were first time diners.
For my wife’s 50th birthday dinner, it was better than I thought having never been to one. Way more good food that I could handle!! Would go back again but there arent any near my hometown
Food was good, but our waiter was terrible. Patrick didn't care about us at all. He would ignore us and check every other table, but ours. We asked for specific meats and they wouldn't come to our table for several minutes. Our drinks were constantly empty which caused my husband and dad to go up to the bar to order drinks.. We ordered four lamb shanks, which we ended up cancelling because of how long they were taking. When we asked why they were taking so long, he stated they take a while to cook, to which I replied "my husband is a chef and it does not take that long to cook four lamb shanks at medium rare." He then said he would go check on it and went back to filling up water and didn't go back to the kitchen to check for at least 5 minutes. He then sent another person out to talk to us about our lamb, which asked if we ordered our lamb for here or to go. Then we told him to just cancel the order. It took Patrick at least 10 minutes to come back to our table and say "I heard you cancelled the lamb". He didn't apologize, he just asked if we wanted dessert. We asked for the check, which took him 15 more minutes to get. I don't know why he was ignoring our table or he would walk away while we were talking to him, but it ruined our night.
However, the bartender was very polite and very accommodating to my husband and dad. She went out of her way to get down two alcohols from a high shelf, so my husband could decide which he preferred. She gave her recommendations as well and honest opinions.
Due to Covid, the salad bar option which I usually choose is much reduced. The staff delivers the salad bar to you after you check off what you want but the list is not what we are used to. The selection is reduced but the price is the same. However, the meat selection which the rest of my family always gets was still the same.
I will preface this by saying prepare to spend some cash, with that said you will have a non-stop parade of meats that will make your mouth water between services. It is one of the most phenomenal meals you will have for a chain restaurant. Our host Leon was excellent, our food was superb, we could not have been happier.
Even though I had reservations the wait was extremely long but the food was great.
Favorite restaurant by far
They have excellent variety of dishes and saw the bar with good service. The trick is not to fill up on the bread and fried bananas that they give you 1st nor on all the salad it does then you will not be able to eat the meat. In general everything is too salty. The meats and the salami for example are very salty. It would seem to me that equation that they employ will diminish or appetite so that you do not eat the more expensive food items that is to say the meets that they offer. Also the filet mignon was brought around only once in 2 hours time
Fabulous food and a beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant definitely took precautions to keep all diners safe. I felt comfortable and welcomed by the staff. All you can eat meat varieties are constantly available. Had to put off this visit due to Covid. So glad that they are back open and ready for customers. They also have a yo go option.
I was very disappointed that several options that were on the online menu were not available once I arrived there.
Food was wonderful as always but our server was TERRIBLE!
Good food and good times. Our server was attentive and the gauchos were prompt and courteous. Will be back.
Good food, the servers going around with the various meat selection were awesome however our table server was horrible. Not attentive and our table was right in front of server stand to put in orders......
