Food is great, but VERY expensive.
Servers were great, hostess not so great.
They wanted us to wait outside in temperatures below 30 degrees for 15-20 mins AFTER our reservation time because they were running behind. No heaters or anything outside either. Hostess had a lot of attitude about it. Said they were trying to get tables cleared and meeting demand of take out orders. I can understand about extra necessary precautions, but still. It was frustrating - don't think my party should have to wait an extra 15-20 mins because the restaurant is trying to keep up with take out orders, or because they overbooked themselves. This is too nice/expensive of a restaurant for that. Ugh.

Neat experience. We kept our cards on green the whole time because we never knew what was coming next. We were able to accept or decline what was offered

Birthday. Overall we enjoyed!

This was our first time dining and in spite of COVID-19 the experience was enjoyable. I wasn't particular excited about our table being right by the kitchen door, it was extremely hard to not be in the way of guys carrying the meat out.

Great Food and Atmosphere. Service was a little slow due to COVID. Waiter said they are at 1/2 staff now, so that is the reason for the delay. Was sad to find out the lamb chops are now an add on item. Missed the salad bar and picking out what you want. They did a good job of offering items with a list to pick from at each seat. Social distancing and safety protocol was excellent. Too full for dessert, but they sounded wonderful.

We had a great evening at Texas de Brazil. We were seated right after we arrived. Our server,Justin, was very attentive and checked on is often. It was a little different ordering the salad buffet items but their system seems to work well. The meat was excellent. We tried everything. I love the sirloin and my son loved the sausage (he ate 6-7 of them!). My wife loved the bisque! We will be back again soon!

First time at the restaurant for all 6 of us - Excellent meats, sides and desserts! Don't skip the dessert! Excellent service.

If you are a meat eater this is the ultimate restaurant . You are seated quickly and your selected salads are delivered to you. When you are ready turn that card to green and the excitement starts freshly fire roasted meats start to flow. Pricy but worth it

Food was excellent and our Justin was awesome...but to have dinner for 2 in that type of atmosphere with 1 drink each and the cost is $130....I understand everyone is hurting but Alcohol drinks have gotten ridiculous...But the food was excellent...pricing not my cup of tea...

Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks, and delicious dessert. I definitely will be going back. This is a perfect place to celebrate any occasion

Great dining! COVID changed some things but still a great place to eat!

The filet mignon was overdone. Very hard to eat.

It has not been a good experience the last 3 times we have visited. We use to be frequent visitors but don't know if we can continue to have these experiences.

The food was excellent. Hands down the top sirloin was the best meat of the night. The wait staff in all aspects were very attentive and friendly. We will most definitely be back.

Food was good but service by waitress wasn’t to good not very attentive didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks until we asked then looked at watch and said no we couldn’t have anymore drinks and didn’t mention time bar closed so we weren’t aware of time frame for drinks to be given .

The waiter was horrible, his mannerism and service was bad for the establishment

Freezing inside. Waited to be seated 15 minutes after our reservation time.

My server was very rude I met my uncle there it was our first time and we love to eat at many different places my uncle asked for coffee and the server gave him attitude then as he explained how stuff worked he said we could stay for about a hour and after did something that I have never had happen before he literally told me I should let him keep the change on my 53.00 bill I gave him 100 dollar bill I being polite told him to keep 25.00 my uncle wanted me to talk to a manager I did not due to it being the holiday weekend. I came there to talk sports and have a good time with my uncle and instead I left thinking it was amazing food for the money but because of that server I will not return because I have never been treated that way Especially when I eat in that area all the time.

Christmas Eve

During Covid, they give you a checklist of items at the buffet and have servers make your plates. This was fine with me except they gave me more than I probably would have put on my plate! Service was good as usual!

The coals were damp and they struggled to get the flame going. All of the meats tasted like charcoal. A complaint to the manager did nothing.

Treated well our 1st time there. Service and food was outstanding. Go hungry to get your $ worth. $50 per person is a lot especially with dessert not included.

Made a reservation at 5 for my boyfriends birthday , food didn’t
StRt coming until around 6 they were having trouble with the fire I guess . We had friends who came out for dinner as well and had to leave early because food was taking too long . We pretty much ate only salad and lamb chops our waiter was great and tried to check on us and kept apologizing about the wait . I was very disappointed because my boyfriend waited so long to try this place

Great place to celebrate! Good atmosphere for a large group.

We were disappointed in the quality of the meats. The salads and side were good but the meats were over cooked and burnt in some instances.

Food was outstanding, service impeccable and social distance guidelines adhered to. Everything was clean and sanitary. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

17 plates of food were brought to our table immediately after ordering drinks. Everything tasted like a salt block. Our server actually gave us dessert before we had been served any meat. Terrible timing of everything. Horrible

Don’t go unless you’re asking to be ignored by your waitress. Completely understandable times are tough for all employees with COVID restrictions but come on.... paying customers shouldn’t be treated like garbage. Our waitress literally threw things on our table and ran away without a word.
Food was great though!

The food that we got to enjoy fresh was delicious. However because of covid they plate your toppings/sides for you and bring them all over at once. By the time the meats started coming around our hot sides were barely lukewarm. I’m also not a beef eater, so I was really looking forward to the chicken & pork options- however even after the server asked if we wanted any specific meats sent over (which took forever for her to come check on us in the first place) they still never brought any porkloin or the second choice of chicken.... definitely not going and spending another $250 for my family of 4 again, at least until covid is over and we can get the sides we want buffet style like they’re supposed to be and when the restaurant is better stocked with their meats.

The food was delicious but unfortunately my server was not as attentive as I needed her to be....this was my first time ever eating there and my birthday on top of that. I completely understand a large group of people was sat down right after us so I can only hope she was trying her hardest but unfortunately she fell a little short this time...but I will be back and maybe it will be better next time.

Detroit is better food was not as good as the others

The food was excellent, though most of the meat was somewhat salty. My wife absolutely loved the salad. The lobster bisque was probably her favorite. The wait staff was very attentive. They made our 50th wedding anniversary celebration dinner a great time for my wife and myself.
