Texas de Brazil - Tyler
Table by the bathroom was offputting, first round of meats were over cooked compared to previous dining experiences. Waitstaff was extremely friendly and overall made the experience bearable. Wine was fantastic.
It was good food. Not outstanding. A good variety of meats, but not top of the line cuts. Very good service from younger staff learning to serve. And I will return. There are always one of the meats worth going.
Went here to celebrate our anniversary for the second time. Everything was great just like it was the first time. Food is great, service is great, everything was perfect.
We ate at a Brazilian restaurant in Nashville, TN. It was amazing!
Tyler location is horrible. Horrible service, careless hosts, and the food was disgusting
Great food and great service! The rare picanha and flank steak was just delicious!
Probably the best place I have ever ate wonderful food and service!!
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Tyler. My wife and I went for our anniversary. She is not a red meat eater, but there is still plenty for her to enjoy. Bacan wrapped chicken, parmesan crusted chicken, smoked salmon, ect. It cost more than your average restaurant, but it is not your average restaurant. Even if you have to budget for it, I encourage you to go. You won't regret it.
The sad part about this place was that they do not have regular iced tea. You have to get bottled tea. Just another way to pull more coins out of your pocket.
Staff was excellent. Smaller salad bar than Fogo De Chao but meats was comparable. Lobster bisque was excellent.
Went on a busy Friday evening and were greeted and seated immediately (reservation w/Open Table). Our server was friendly and informed us of the menu options. The remainder of the evening was spent deciding on which meat selections we wanted to enjoy and deciding on dessert. Overall, a great experience.
Salad bar was excellent, but all selections of filet had too much fat- was not premium beef! Our waitress had too many tables and could not keep the small glass full- and we asked for ice a few times.
Get a better steak at Outback!
I absolutely love this place . I would recommend it to everyone I know !
Very disappointed. It was a Sunday evening so most of our normal upscale dining places were closed except The Grove and we had been there earlier in the week. We thought this was an excellent opportunity to try Texas de Brazil. We should have canceled as soon as we walked in as kids were running around and screaming everywhere. The red and black decor is already tired looking and cheap. The layout makes it extra noisy throughout the dining room. The tables are sterile and more like a hospital dining room than upscale dining. We had a couple drinks at the bar and that experience was ok except the bartender was pleasant enough but seemed to still be learning. Families are hovering over at your back you as you try and relax at the bar with the waiting area directly at your back. Once seated there was no coziness. Tables crowded together with hard chairs. Mashed Potatoes were served cold and the bananas were not at the level our waitress hyped them to be. The salad bar was picked over and the bisque, witch was decent but lacked any actual lobster, was nearly empty. Not a pleasant sight to be scrapping the bottom of the bowls. It was only 8:00 so its not as if we were the last to dine. Our server was good. She did what she could to add to the enjoyment of our evening but things were beyond her control. The manager did visit our table unsolicited to ask how we were doing. I shared that we continue to get offered only the same meats and asked why are they all parmesan encrusted. She had more meats sent our way without parmesan. We have now gone there, checked the box, and we will not be back. And by the way, it's expensive to get an experience similar to a hospital cafeteria.
Came on Father’s Day at 3:15. Food was absolutely wonderful!!! Server was less than great... she needed more training or to find a different job. It was VERY difficult to get her to clear plates. It was very very loud to the point it was difficult to hear people at my own table without yelling... but he food made the rest bearable.
Todo excelente, servicio, comida, limpieza. Usamos la aplicación para hacer la reservación y todo marchó perfectamente. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.
Best place to spend a night out with your loved ones or even the love of you life! Great for our anniversary.
The food was way to seasoned every piece of meat had way to much salt on it. The waiter we was pretty good. The price would have been ok with me if the food was good. Everything Else was ok.
Probably the best food and service I have ever had. Food is delicious. Service is amazing.
We had to get our own plates long wait time before offered meats very noisy
Awesome birthday meal! Thank you!
Food and service was great. Had no problems getting a reservation for the time we needed.
We love this place. Amanda (GM) is our fav!!
Thank you for such a wonderful experience once again.
Delicious food, amazing service and peaceful atmosphere... always a pleasure!
Amazing service from coming in through the door to the service staff. My first trip here with my wife we were celebrating our anniversary !
I will definitely come back. For what you get the price can’t be beat! Shrimp, Filet Mignon, steak, lamb I mean you would expect to pay more.
Our table was ready on time. The food and the service were good.
It was our first time going to Texas De Brazil and we enjoyed it. Well worth the money. If a piece of meat is not cooked to your liking they will bring you out out meat that is cooked the way you like. It’s nice to have this upscale option available in Tyler.
Amazing food and service
Food was good, service was great! Salad bar was very good.
Great service and great food...enjoyed the whole evening. we will return
We went here to eat dinner on our 25th wedding anniversary. I’ve tried this restaurant in Fort Worth - the food, service, ambiance, etc. proved to be an excellent value there. Not here in Tyler! Wow. We were sorely disappointed.
The servers should be better groomed, should act like they care about serving you, and should bring what you ask for. This also applies to the management team. Where did these people come from - this isn’t the local Dairy Queen.
What really took the cake - pun intended - is that the anniversary gift they gave us was a slice of carrot cake. The oddity is that they actually charged us for it.
By this time, we’d had enough. We didn’t argue with them. We just paid up and left, never to return.
This is a unique, moderately priced establishment. The service from our actual waitress was lacking in my opinion in relation to the level of service they are portraying by their pricing. Food was excellent and highly recommend the lobster bisque as well as the ribeye cutlets. Drinks were weak amd had to send one back to be remade like the menu we ordered it from... Judge accordingly and enjoy of you go. Might be back.
A little on the pricey side, but totally worth it for special occasions. We went with my sister, brother in law, and niece as a little get together. It was absolutely fantastic. Not something I would do super often, but definitely will return!
Delicious food, fun experience
Great experience and awesome waiter.... very knowledgeable about the restaurant.
Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic service. Highly recommend.
Slow service the night we went. Food seemed to take a while to come out. Overall, food was good but seemed over seasoned.
BEEF - it's what's for dinner! Along with chicken, lamb and shrimp. Staff is exceptionally nice and we were seated promptly. Salad bar has lots of options and we try something new each time we go. I love their ranch dressing and ranch is not my choice at any other restaurant. The parmesan chicken was good, but the filet mignon was overcooked. However, they brought around the top sirloin and it was excellent. Then came the flank steak. It just doesn't get much better than the flank steak! Always hot and always tasty. They are a little pricey, but where else can you get such great service and all you can eat of your favorite meat? I was full, but waited a few minutes for one more round with the flank steak. Outstanding! The manager checked on us a couple of times and our waitress kept our tea full and answered all of our questions and even sent the sirloin guy back around to us again.
This was the second visit within four weeks and they never disappoint. Somehow, all the meats were tender and juicy. More so than from the previous visit which was on a Friday evening.
We always enjoy the desserts... Carrot cake and their Creme brulee (made inhouse) is always outstanding.
We have never had bad service even on the very busiest of days.
My father is a Navy veteran and we took him for his first time on Memorial day. The food was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The waiters were so fun and made sure we had everything we needed even if it was from the salad bar. My dad got lamb and a waiter kindly brought him mint jelly without my dad even asking. He loved it and it was a great time!
