Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Texas de Brazil.
The bar did not know how to make an Italian Margareta (I know this because the server told me so) so the one they tried to make was awful, I could not drink it, every piece of meat I tried (filet mignon, leg lamb, lamb, sirloin beef) was to tough to chew & did not taste good to me. They sat us next to a table that had kids that were screaming the whole time (this was supposed to be our anniversary dinner). The meat I did accept did not go to wast, my husband ate them, however, my husband can eat anything & no matter how bad meat taste he will eat it, even he said there was no flavor in the meat & it was fulln of grissel, very poor quality product. The food bar had good food on it, I just wish they would label what has jalapeño, or spicy flavor because I accidentally tried the green olives & OMG! I can't eat spicy anything so I ran to the bathroom to get rid of it & ate ranch dressing to stop my mouth from burning. I did view the online menu prior to arriving & did not see that the green ives were spicy. The cheese bread balls were awesome, the banana thing was ok, but very different. Our server never refilled my husband's glass of water, he ended up drinking mine (he only dropped the water off 1 time & that was it!).
Five years ago our exchange student 's family took us there (same restaurant), we had the BEST FOOD EVER on that day, every piece of meat I tried I loved, all the sides were delicious & the servers were amazing, oh how the mighty have fallen! We were so excited to try this restaurant again, expecting at least the same quality of meat, we paid $125 for a meal that made me sick & my husband full.
Wasn’t happy we had to wait to be seated after reservation time.we seen people coming in after us being seated that was also party of 2. I feel like our server zack did a great job he was very knowledgeable about everything, and was able to answer any questions we had so I had no problem tipping him $25 I have to work in Tulsa sometimes so we look forward to returning
Our waiter was not good. All of the guys with the meat did amazing however!! The food wasn’t as great as the chain in Oklahoma city.
Our server, Zachary, was phenomenal
Definitely will be back
Honestly there needs to be more waiters like Elijah he went above and beyond he was absolutely amazing and I hope every time we come there we have can have him!!!!
It was a nice experience.
We got our drinks 20 minutes after we were sat down. The cups smelled like dirt. Waiter brought us mashed potatoes and fried bananas basically when we were done eating.
Salad bar was open and masks were not enforced. It was very disturbing and gross. We waited 20 minutes for steak to come around. All that came was chicken and sausage (which is not what we go there for). We were sat by the door and it was freezing outside so every time the door opened (which was a lot because they sat every table like it was V-Day 2019) so everything was cold including us. We will likely never go back.
The waiter kept trying to sell us drinks after we told him we don't drink. He talked so fast we could not understand him. After we got our first round of meat we had to flag them down to bring us meat. The sirloin was rubbery. I had to ask 5 times for ribs and after I asked for the bill and we were leaving they brought me ribs. It was a unbelievable experience.
This was me and my husbands second time eating at TDB - Tulsa. Our first experience was fantastic (which is why we decided to go again). Food was great, service was excellent.
This time, however, we left a little disappointed. The salad bar and service was good, but we were very unimpressed with the meats. Not only did they take longer than normal to make their way around, but the taste and quality just didn’t seem as great.
It would be nice if the tables were square instead of round so it will fit all the plates better also our table rocked. so anytime they would cut the meat it would spill our water
The food was excellent, our waiter Aiden was so polite and very quick to refill our drinks and he suggested great beer and dessert!
Everything was wonderful except the temperature in the restaurant. The temperature outside was extremely cold, so every time the door would open, a blast of cold air would come in. The restaurant could sure benefit from double doors to help eliminate this problem. We had our hand warmers our dinner dinner 🥴❄️
Greeter had an attitude, besides that it was average
Maybe my expectations were too high, but for $50 I expected much better. The meat quality was very subpar - probably not even choice beef. Service was scattered and slow. Not even close to the quality of a place like flemings.
Restaurant was very cold. Food you served was getting cold easily. I think people want to eat their meat when it is hot. This was my 4th time with you but i didn't like the meat this time. I think next time i will reconsider before i visit you!
it was our choice to come at closing so the buffet was 9 stars instead of 10, Elijah took care of us, but each of the gauchos was a star, the meat was excellent, when it comes to the table the outermost could have drippings dried on to it which may taste over seasoned or salty, but that is a normal occurrence of slow good fire grilling, the very second cut or inside cuts will be medium rare and juicy. the lamb is the best lamb I have ever tasted and the picanha is the signature steak to eat here. dont get me wrong the pork and chicken are amazing, but I came for the Picanha and the different steaks. thank you for the amazing experience.
Delicious! My only regret is that my significant other and I get full too quickly, so we don’t get to try as much delicious food as we would really like to. If you are capable of eating a lot, it’s probably a way better value. lol.
This is the only dining experience we have had in several months due to covid precautions and trying to stay at home. It didn’t feel too crowded early on Sunday. The salad bar is open (I wasn’t sure how this would work amidst covid) and requires a mask for that area, which is good. I did use hand sanitizer before and after because everyone touches the tongs and hot food handles. They are probably cleaned often, but safety first.
Server was nowhere to be found when we needed him, didn’t even offer dessert.
Only disappointed because I couldn’t take anything to go. The food was so good
Waiter wasn’t any good. He didn’t bring us any plates. He didn’t bring our sides until we asked him to. He never added any ice to my wife’s drink.
He brought her glass back full with no ice.
Excellent food and service as usual.
Very enjoyable, the food was top notch. Service was very prompt.
Prior to the pandemic, my family and I ate at Texas de Brazil at least once a month. This was our first time back since last March.
We will not be back, at least to the Tulsa location.
Upon our arrival, only 3 if the 8 visible staff had on masks; even though the door mandated anyone inside had to wear one. We watched as a table of approx. 6 came in... no masks... and wee seated and didn't comply with the mask policy at all; even when visiting the salad bar.
Our service was abysmal: inattentive, unconcerned, and sporadic at best. Additionally, unlike ANY other time we have been to Texas de Brazil, we were never asked how we wanted our meats cooked. Our entire table preferred rare. We realized after asking the FOURTH time that the gauchos were obviously untrained in preparing meat to that temperature. Everything brought to the table was either medium, medium well, or raw. Not the level of quality we had been used to before.
Amazing food! Staff is super friendly & very little turnover so you see the same faces & they remember you.
It was our first time there, a surprise dinner for my husband for our anniversary. The lighting was perfect, it wasn’t overly loud, and our service was impeccable.
The food itself was incredible; the flavor combinations and variety of the salad bar makes this restaurant hard to beat.
Highly recommend, can’t wait to come again.
Food was good service was bad had to ask for the waiter several times
If you like steak you have to try this. The food is phenomenal the wait staff is top notch highly recommended
Food was ok but not great. Definitely not $50.00 per person great. I was disappointed in the small selection of items on the salad bar. Also for the price of the meal, dessert should be included! I would not recommend this establishment to anyone!
Steaks were flavorless. So called fillet was rare to medium rare even though we asked for medium, and it had gristle in it making it hard to chew and not tender at all. We tried every meat brought out & the sausage was the best tasting.
For it being our first time to visit we were very impressed! The meal was very good and we loved the flow through out the restaurant. We will be back soon
Lynn and Stacy Arnold
Service was great. Little disappointed there was less items on the buffet area then last visit. Also, little disappointed could not use coupon that I received. But food was good and server was amazing
Excellent food; attentive and efficient staff. Highly recommend.
Took my wife there for her birthday. We both loved it! We will be back.
This was my first time going to the restaurant. Very nice. I will be a returning customer.
Great ambiance in the restaurant. Food and service was great. Definitely enjoyed the experience.
Very good as always, miss the open salad bar. Great food and service.
Wonderful food as always.
It was a very good experience very good food and we will be back it was my son’s birthday and that’s where he wanted to go and definitely me and my fiancé will come back
