Texas de Brazil is no ordinary steakhouse. It’s a dining experience like no other.

Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area where you can indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties.

Then enjoy the rodizio-style dining that has made us famous. An endless parade of gaucho servers visits your table with skewers of freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage carved directly onto your plate. We had a wonderful experience. The employees were helpful and seemed to really enjoy explaining to us what the routine entailed.
It was our first visit and we were out of our element. But we found the dining experience fun and different. We tried as many of the varied choices we could. Our next visit we will try the ones we couldn't on this visit. We will definitely have a return visit. This will become one of our special occasion favorite restaurants.

Overall food was very good. Service was a little slow (for drinks, checks etc) but weren't in a hurry so that wasn't a problem. All meats were well-cooked and delicious!

This is a fine spot for a special occasion, but, overall, there are many options in St. Louis for better food at more reasonable prices.

Food tasted amazing. The meat and even the buffet food are are very good quality and very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.

Food was great and evening was as expected but it got old seeing meats that would run out before they got to our table and never resurface. I saw four different options that I never got to try - even after specifically requesting (and having someone instructed to go get it for us) from our server. A great night still but could've been perfect.

I brought my sister here to celebrate her birthday, it was second time visiting and her first time. The service was outstanding. Our server was the most pleasant! The carvers were so nice! I loved it! And my sister loved it as well!! ❤️

This locations salad bar is not as good as Fogo de Choi, nor as good as other Texas de Brazil locations, but still very nice. Gauchos came around a lot with chicken and sausages, but had to wait for steak. Got flank steak and garlic filet, but no other cuts of steak came by. Saw no pork loin, no lamb chops, no beef ribs etc. For almost $100pp with a drink and tip, it shouldn't be that way. Waitstaff very friendly, but plates not removed in a timely manner at this location. Maybe it sounds nit picky but with tip amounts it should be better. Possibly it was due to it being a new location, but I shouldn't be the guinea pig in them working out their problems.

What a wonderful experience! We first enjoyed Texas de Brazil in Memphis and we were delighted when a St Louis location started. It’s a fun time with great food. Service was excellent!

I found the food to be very good and enjoyed the variety of proteins. They were mostly well cooked to temperature (only a tenderloin was slightly over cooked). Salad bar was good although the main event was the meat. Service was excellent. I will say that the environment can be a bit chaotic if you are not used to the traffic but everyone was very professional and friendly. For those budget minded customers I would recommend the VIP account (so as long as you don't eat on Friday or Saturday).

While there is an obvious difference in quality between Tucanos and Texas de Brazil, Tucanos offers a better ambiance, value, and drink options than Texas de Brazil. The star of the night were the absolutely massive salad bar, that has something for everyone, and the meat servers, whose expertise, advice, and knowledge of the meats was outstanding. Our actual server was a little slow to respond, and would ask too often if we needed anything (odd combination, but somehow this was the case) and the paper coins that you use to designate whether or not you would like more meat, is a cheap substitute to a little wooden log, that is much easier to spot by meat servers and avoids confusion.
Overall, experience was above average, we had our bellies filled with a bunch of meat, cheese, and mashed potatoes (must try), but would have had almost exactly same experience for under $100 at Tucanos vs $180 (included with tip) for 3 people.

Have been there several times, and this time was horrible. Food was lousy, and barely came around, we had to keep asking for them to bring the meats, our server did not seem to be around much, and even though it is my 10 year old grandson's favorite restaurant, (go there especially for him) hated it, and did not want to eat as much as he normally does. So if a 10 year old can tell the difference so could we all.
Will not go back

Asked for dinning room seating area, not bar area by doorway, was told we would have to wait - even w/ reservation; did not feel we were offered all meat selections, & waitress was not able ans ques we had on some of the salad bar items

Very friendly helpful staff. We went on a slow Thursday night so the salad bar didn’t seem as fresh as I would like and the overall ambiance wasn’t as lively as what I was hoping. However the food was great and service was excellent so I will come again.

Very nice experience, but would like to see gravy or au jus made available. We asked our server but she didn't seem to even know what au jus or gravy was.

I got the 50% off 12 dinners pass and used it saving me a lot of money. It’s a little pricey otherwise, but the food is worth it. The salad bar has a lot of different options beside salad and the lobster bisque is very well done.

We were a little late for our reservation; coming from out of state for a concert, and they still seated us. Staffing was very friendly, and attentive. The meat was over all amazing. The salad bar was....ok. The salad and sushi was good. My husband and I both felt the rest of the options where over kill, trying to be too fancy so it all tasted a little off. Over all, good experience. Bring an appetite to make it worth the money you spend.

The food was outstanding. Lots to choose from on the salad bar as well as the meats. The meats were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The service staff was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Food and service was good. The waiters adjusted meat selection to our dietary restrictions(no pork). The atmosphere was nice for a date night, although I was a little cold. Would go again!

We sat there for a hour and half and had meat delivered to our table maybe 5 times. We asked the server several times and he said they are slow tonight for some reason. We will not be returning. Tucanos is a lot less expensive and has a better quality and quantity of food! We were hoping for this place to be better since closer to home but we will drive the extra 20 min and return to tucanos!

I’ve been before and really enjoyed the experience. However this specific time I was very disappointed, there were extremely long waits in between skewers of meat making it to our table and by the time some of the skewers reached us there was very little well-done meat left on it, and considering our reservations were at 8:45 and the restaurant closed at 10 we were left feeling like we didn’t necessarily got our money’s worth.

My waitress was wonderful but another one made an uncalled for comment when I was leaving in reference to the period of time I was there. I didn’t appreciate it and it left me with a poor impression of the restaurant. I’m sure it made her feel better about herself and I guess she needed to by her looks. She shouldn’t be waitressing if she doesn’t care about people’s feelings. I’m the one that spent way too much money for the quality of meats. They are all borderline. It’s the volume that is what is counted on to matter.

Servers were novice at best. They didn't understand which meats were ready to be served and performed poorly while at the table dropping the servings or not serving an appropriate amount of meat. We felt rushed to finish dinner. We will not return there, we have been to other restaurants around the country of this nature and they don't compare well.

When we arrived, our table wasn't ready and we were asked to wait. We decided to wait at the bar. I asked for a glass of sparkling water. When our table was finally ready and I received the bill, I was charged $7 for the water. The bar tender said they only sell sparkling water by the liter bottle. Seemed very dishonest. The service was also very slow. We had to track people down to have the meat brought to our table even though everyone in our group had their green papers up to show we wanted meat.

The food was good, the waitress we had was not good. When we ordered our drinks I asked for a child’s water for my one year old that she never brought. She failed to leave us the meat cards and after about 20-30 minutes we had to ask why the men weren’t stopping at our table with meat. She came around once to fill up my glass of water after it had been empty for quite some time but never asked how we were doing and if everything was okay. The next time she came around was to ask us if we wanted dessert and when we said no she dropped off the check when we clearly weren’t finished. I sat the book to the side because we were not ready and she came back and took it within less than two minutes and when we said we weren’t ready she did not come back to check on us except to ask us if we were ready to pay. I have been to a Texas de Brazil before and I believe that every person who is carrying meat around is supposed to stop at the table if the green side of the card was up, and they did not. What is the point of having the cards if they all just walk past and skip over some tables?

they sat us in the back. the waiters with the meats hardly came to our table. we had to ask multiple times for the meat to be served and we still didnt get to have much. we asked for specific meats when we were asked and we left without being able to try them. unless the manager can make it right with us, they have lost a customer. we will not reccomend this place to anyone. instead, we will refer Fogo De Cho. we always are served promptly and multiple times

Although our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, service was slow. We sat down for dinner at 5:15pm. There were several waiter staff. It was also quite cold where we were seated. Food was amazing.
