Texas de Brazil is no ordinary steakhouse. It’s a dining experience like no other.

Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Food and service was good. The waiters adjusted meat selection to our dietary restrictions(no pork). The atmosphere was nice for a date night, although I was a little cold. Would go again!

My waitress was wonderful but another one made an uncalled for comment when I was leaving in reference to the period of time I was there. I didn’t appreciate it and it left me with a poor impression of the restaurant. I’m sure it made her feel better about herself and I guess she needed to by her looks. She shouldn’t be waitressing if she doesn’t care about people’s feelings. I’m the one that spent way too much money for the quality of meats. They are all borderline. It’s the volume that is what is counted on to matter.

Servers were novice at best. They didn't understand which meats were ready to be served and performed poorly while at the table dropping the servings or not serving an appropriate amount of meat. We felt rushed to finish dinner. We will not return there, we have been to other restaurants around the country of this nature and they don't compare well.

When we arrived, our table wasn't ready and we were asked to wait. We decided to wait at the bar. I asked for a glass of sparkling water. When our table was finally ready and I received the bill, I was charged $7 for the water. The bar tender said they only sell sparkling water by the liter bottle. Seemed very dishonest. The service was also very slow. We had to track people down to have the meat brought to our table even though everyone in our group had their green papers up to show we wanted meat.

The food was good, the waitress we had was not good. When we ordered our drinks I asked for a child’s water for my one year old that she never brought. She failed to leave us the meat cards and after about 20-30 minutes we had to ask why the men weren’t stopping at our table with meat. She came around once to fill up my glass of water after it had been empty for quite some time but never asked how we were doing and if everything was okay. The next time she came around was to ask us if we wanted dessert and when we said no she dropped off the check when we clearly weren’t finished. I sat the book to the side because we were not ready and she came back and took it within less than two minutes and when we said we weren’t ready she did not come back to check on us except to ask us if we were ready to pay. I have been to a Texas de Brazil before and I believe that every person who is carrying meat around is supposed to stop at the table if the green side of the card was up, and they did not. What is the point of having the cards if they all just walk past and skip over some tables?

they sat us in the back. the waiters with the meats hardly came to our table. we had to ask multiple times for the meat to be served and we still didnt get to have much. we asked for specific meats when we were asked and we left without being able to try them. unless the manager can make it right with us, they have lost a customer. we will not reccomend this place to anyone. instead, we will refer Fogo De Cho. we always are served promptly and multiple times

Although our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, service was slow. We sat down for dinner at 5:15pm. There were several waiter staff. It was also quite cold where we were seated. Food was amazing.

the salad bar was pretty good!
the meat overall was a little too salty, the bacon covered chicken had the best flavor.
we weren't told we could order any hot sides with our meats (mashed potatoes/veggies).

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I've been to other churrascarias where the selection was greater. But other than that the food was fantastic, price was what I anticipated for these type of restaurants and the restaurant's ambiance was quite nice as well.

We wanted to love it. Concept is good, the restaurant looks very nice, but the experience is mediocre for the price. My wife prefers meat cooked well done and we were assured by our waiter that well done meats are available. Let's just say that she had 2 large bowls of the lobster bisque and bread to get full. I was expecting some higher quality cuts of meat--where's the filet, prime rib or NY strip? We can get flank steak at Taco Bell. We also had an unusual experience at the bar when ordering a drink but then were immediately seated at our table. We asked the bartender to transfer the tab to the table and he would not accommodate us (obviously worried about getting a tip).

I am not saying you shouldn't go. I am just recommending you lower your expectations when spending $50+/per person as Texas de Brazil.

Not as good as the 1st time I've been here. Most of the time the more premium cuts were not presented (picanha, filet mignon and flank steak) and I had to ask upfront to get it. When the place gets busy, the quality of meats go down. I requested medium rare for my filet mignon but it came out to be over done.

Salad Bar items were really very tasty and the assortment of items was amazing. The Meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. All the varieties of Meats were available in varying degrees of preparedness from rare to well done. A very neat dining experience.

Went for my dads birthday and had a really good time. I visited a restaurant like this in Vegas and had a bad experience so was a little Worried.. the service was outstanding and the gouchos brought the meat by non stop! So would def recommend this restaurant.

Plenty of food choices for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Service was phenomenal and the meat options were constantly on rotation. They also give you the choice to make a request for your favorite protein cooked to your temperature liking......BONUS! Highly recommend giving this place a try but make sure you show up with an empty stomach because the food will fill you up quick.

We first came on Xmas eve, so this was our second visit. The food was far better than our first time. The meats were spectacular, and the appetizer bar quite wonderful - great value. The service was also attentive and nice. I would just suggest that extremely chewy hunks of meat not be given to diners - those really belong in a stewpot. It is also VERY keto-friendly, which is great.

Everything was great and well worth the food. Weird sanitary item...the flowers above the buffet would catch everyone's hair and the end of the fake flowers had quite a few hairs around them. Kinda gross.

Andre was a fantastic server! He checked in many times and we always had full glasses! His jokes were especially on point. Date night was a great success. I can’t wait to come back and be served by him some other time; hopefully with more friends!

The quality of the food is excellent. The salad bar is outstanding. My husband, who eats steak all over the world, says the ribeye is one of the best he has eaten anywhere.

The staff is amazing and so is this food! My fiancé an I love going bc of how great the staff is an how delicious the food is. Since everything is a bit more social it forces you to actually enjoy everything without being on your phone instead of having more of a quite dinner not socializing as much your constantly laughing and enjoying your company and the staff. The food is fantastic it’s a bit more expensive but well worth it.

The food was fine but the atmosphere was disappointing. I had been to a different Brazilian Steakhouse in the past that was fine dining and expected the same from Texas de Brazil. Not even close to the special occasion atmosphere I was after. I guess that’s what I get for choosing a restaurant at the Galleria. I won’t be back.

Our server was excellent - wish I could remember her name.

The restaurant was very clean. A woman who must have been a manager continually walked around, clearing dirty plates and refolding napkins of those who got up from their table.

The meat was always hot and there was a good variety. It was seasoned well.

The only negative - I wish there had been a better selection at the salad bar/sides station. The only "sides" were cheesy potatoes and rice. Would have been nice to see more fresh/steamed vegetables. Of all the Brazilian restaurants we have been to, this one offered the least amount of sides.

We really enjoyed our meal here and will be coming back for sure!

Valentine’s Day dinner (a day late) was nearly perfect! 2 of the meat choices fell short with the pork being dry and one of the beef skewers being a bit tough but everything else was perfect!

My girlfriend and I chose Texas De Brazil (TDB) for our 2019 Valentine’s Day dinner date night. The ambiance is nice, but not stuffy. The salad bar had many selections of anti pasta and salad. As for the meat, we enjoyed most everything that we tried and our wait staff were attentive enough to remember our preference of temperature.

I would eat here again, but would only recommend the restaurant to hardcore carnivores.

This was a Valentines Day dinner and having been here before, we knew it was going to be incredible. The salad bar was full of new things to try, and the meats were delicious. Service was also fantastic!

The service was outstanding, and I was most appreciative for the same-day reservation on Valentine's Day. The grill meats were very flavorful and tender, especially the lamb cuts. The salad bar is lacking when compared to other Brazilian churrasco restaurants such as Tucanos and Fogo de Chao. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal and experience, and I will done here, again.
