Food was great! But My server was absolutely rude! I can not make this up . Made reservations for my birthday and in order for me to come in the building I had to at least half the party arrive which is understandable but it was 90 degrees outside. And even when more then half arrived, We still had to wait almost 30 mins to sit down. I booked a month in advance. I’ll never go here again really hurt my feelings and ruined My Birthday mainly because of my server! (He told me he doesn’t sing happy birthda who don’t tip which was me the whole table tipped outside of paying about $460 for our food ” and My friends paid for My Food because it was my birthday so I never had a receipt to tip With card ) .
The food was outstanding. We showed up about 15 minutes early and was not so nicely told we had to wait until our reservation time. When we got a table it took the server a long time to great us and get our drinks. They haven’t got a menu with the beer on it and every time we asked our server for something he had to ask a supervisor to it. Such as use a gift card.
We arrived 10 minutes early, but the male greeter would not allow anyone to sit at an unoccupied table. So us earlier birds had to stand, clogging up the entry.
When we were seated, the female greeter placed us at the table adjacent to the one we were going to sit at while waiting. (Oh, the irony!) LOL
Our waiter, Frank, was amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
The salad bar was the best part of the meal. The meats were extremely salty. During the welcome, Frank told us that everything was salted, but this was over the top. We stopped at Baskins and Robbin's to get some ice cream to offset the salt overdose.
Even though we were close to the cooking area when the meats were brought to our table nothing was hot ... only warm.
For $100 a couple, I was disappointed. It was our anniversary celebration. Needless to say it was less than spectacular.
If I were to go again I would definitely ask them to cook my meat without salt, even if I have to wait longer. That way I may be able to enjoy the taste of the meat AND, it might be hot!
Sorry for the less than stellar review, but at least its honest.
P.S. If you want to try this restaurant, ask for Frank!!!
Food is good, service is also great, it is expensive for 2 people. I was told to expect the tab to be up a bit pricey
This is one of the nicest Texas de Brazils that we have been to! The food and the staff were excellent! They took care of all of our needs without us having to ask.
Service was slower than usual. The meats came out very slowly and our table seemed to be skipped a lot
Consistently good food, all you can eat so if you try something you don't like, you can move on. Good selection, kind waitstaff, a little noisy in the restaurant. Wish they had a different system for showing that you do or don't want more meat so it is more obvious! We will continue going here for celebrations and events, it's just that good.
Love the food but doesn’t seem any different than the lunch price and selection when it was available. Server was nice but not very attentive. Very upset I couldn’t use coupon that was sent to me with gift cards. I mean it’s money that someone gave us specifically for this restaurant. It did get extremely loud and busy after 45 mins of being there. I would only recommend because it’s the only Brazilian steakhouse around.
Awesome !! If you love steak this is the place to be at.
Server deeply embarrassed us by coming back to the table after we gave her a gift card and credit card to tell us the difference in front of our dinner date. We sent both cards in purpose, so she could treasure care of that privately. Otherwise good and service were good. Even with a reservation we had to wait.
This is an overpriced, overhyped, overrated buffet. It is not at all worth the superfluous expense. Our party of 6 was over $360 and it was nothing remarkable. A similar priced meal with outstanding service and fine dining quality could have been enjoyed at Ruth’s Chris, Morton’s, or any number of similar upscale restaurants. Not all TdB locations are the same. Some are better than others. The OKC location is perhaps on-par with what you should expect for a mall based restaurant, though the cost is out of line with that reality. We will not be in a hurry to return. And BTW, I’m not getting ‘worked up’ when you fail to impress in any regard - from the lackluster first impression until the moment I depart disappointed.
Good service and good food waitress friendly service I love it !!
The food was excellent!!!! The place was very clean. Our server Kyle, was responsive to all our needs. The meats were well seasoned and satisfied our taste buds.
10 year anniversary dinner! We had an amazing time here, the food was probably the best we’ve ever had anywhere! The experience was very neat and the server was attentive and did a great job, he even gave us some cheesecake since it was a special night for us. We WILL be back! All the meat was fantastic and the salad bar was spectacular!
Lamb chops are now priced separately and not included in the price. You can add them on if preferred. Always look at your ticket. We are overcharged almost every time for something. In most cases it's our kid getting charged the adult price. Food is still always good just disappointing we are paying the same price for fewer cuts of meat. Staff and management are friendly, just very busy. We will keep this one in our rotation, just not as frequent as we once did.
Felt like the servers had a time limit for the table... only serve them for 20 minutes and then don’t come back feeling... we waited over 15 minutes to get drinks which was a bummer. Just felt rushed to start eating and we. Didn’t even put a drink order in :/
We celebrated my birthday at Texas De Brazil a few nights ago. Sam was our server, he was outstanding! We will definitely be back!
Our waitress was attentive and so nice. Our reservation stated that we were there for our anniversary and everyone we encountered congratulated us. We were back in a corner so it seemed like the gauchos didnt make it around to us as often as we saw them at other tables, but when we asked the waitress for specific meats she found those and sent them our way. I think it is overpriced, but still an enjoyable experience.
This is one of our date night places. We celebrated my birthday there this visit. The staff is always great and the food is always amazing.
Came back 2nd time. Your minimum 50 characters sucks.
Meat servers were great. My waitress continues reached across my plate to refill drink. In the process condensation from the pitcher inevitably landed on my plate multiple times. She was polite but this was not sanitary at all.
Our server was awesome! Great service and we had a great time for my birthday
Arrived early to my reservation time an I was told to wait until most of my party was present to be seated. My family arrived on time and had to wait for another 10 minutes and ask to be seated, only to receive the worst table in the restaurant. Not worth the inconvenience for a $400 check.
It was our first visit. We enjoyed the experience.
Service was great! I love how less crowded I felt since the tables are spread out more. I hope they can keep it like that otherwise people are practically eating on top of each other. I hate trying to walk between the tables and people eating.
Great food. Great service. I would recommend this to anyone in OKC.
Great food, awesome service and perfect drink selection.
The meats were very good to excellent. The salad bar was, by-in-large, excellent. The sliced cucumbers, the grilled pineapple and the roasted garlic were notable. The hot food line was not up to its previous standard. The black beans were overly salty and there weren't enough au gratin potatoes available to give them a fair test. The jasmine rice lacked flavor. As ever, there was no decent bread available, and the tiny rolls were more mediocre than usual. All in all, it was still very pleasurable dining experience.
Great food, atmosphere and service! Highly recommend
We barely could get some meat that was well done. Everything they brought out was medium well and we don't eat that
The salad area alone is worth the visit. The lobster bisque is fantastic, the salad greens are fresh and crisp and the dressings are delicious. The staff is GREAT! Everyone that came to our table was friendly and informative even hough the restaurant was really busy. Highly recommend for a fun evening out.
Everything was great except the steak was were done.
Amazing as always!
Birthday. Jose was amazing and took great care of us. Was mine and my son’s (5 year old) first time and loved it. Will be back
The waitress was phenomenal. She was very attentive and made the whole dining experience very pleasant.
José was our waiter and he was great! Positive attitude and conversational with my Spanish-speaking parents
I eat here often. Love the manager and the black server guy with long hair
Alway loved Texas De Brazil; great place, great food.
Great food, wine and service
Want to go hungry- if you leave the same way it’s your own fault. It’s pricey but well worth it!
