Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Texas de Brazil.
Restaurant was not busy, when we ate. Seated promptly, but then it went sour. Waitress was friendly but inattentive I had to ask mgr. for service. Meat was slow to come first time and subsequent times as well.
We have been here enough to know we were not treated well. Our guests first time and they were not impressed.
Need focus and more frequency serving.
Food and service were excellent but the ambience was typical strip mall. The desserts were poor quality which was a disappointment for Brazilian food which is known for great desserts.
Great food especially the flank steak!
The service was outstanding, the food was very good. I probably wouldn’t eat quite so much from the salad bar before the meat selections came around but now I know for future visits.
Our server was fabulous and very attentive.
We will be back.
My party of five was sat in a table meant for four. We had to stare at the wall for about 10 minutes until the sight of anyone with food made an appearance. When it was time to check out, we couldn't find our server. The Texas de Brazil in San Antonio, TX has way better service, and they don't make you wait for food. Servers were very nice though. Given the price, we expected more. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I know. Not sure if I'll be back.
Paid over $100 for a few pieces of steak and the sides were terrible cold and under cooked. The serve was not great either we seemed like a bother to him the home time. We will not be back.
It was a wonderful experience. We were celebrating my husband's retirement . He had a big retirement party but I thought it would be nice for just the two of us to celebrate.
Overall very satisfied with my experience dining at Texas de Brazil. The only complaint is the strange layout with large columns throughout the restaurant that seem to always be in the way of our and the food servers access to the table. But the service and attentiveness given by our waitress more then made up for any downside in restaurant layout.
It was a birthday celebration. The place is lovely. Friendly and conscientious staff. Delicious food. I’m not a fan of the location (mall). The waitress took a long time to bring us our check. But our experience was great. Can’t wait to go back!
We Travel a lot, we eat at this Chain often. Service was Good, not as good as Some !!
Back against eat all the meats, but they’re missing my favorites that I truly anticipated: the lamb chops & beef ribs. Those are my very favorite. You can only accept so many “filets” & “picanha”. The food we had was great, but the joy that makes it worth the cost is the large variety, and that shrank considerably ... by the best/most expensive cuts, the ones that are hard to find elsewhere. Not going again back unless they return them to the offering.
They don’t serve the famous Brazilian ribs any longer in this location . Also they removed the lamb chops from the menu. Very sad! These two items are the must have in a real Churrasco!
Salads and ambience were good.
Server was very attentive and friendly
We’ve been visiting once a week for the last 3 weeks
Great service, nice surroundings - but the meats are overcooked and too salty . I really wanted to like this place. My husband was disappointed that they don't offer sweet tea.
Excellent food and service.. We visited this location a few times after it first opened and they had some growing pains.. However, this last visit was excellent.. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic..
I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, Tessa. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. Kudos!
Usually the manager visits the table but not once did we see him except when there was a small issue with the check. Very disappointed with the manager.
This was our second visit. It has been a year since our last visit. I feel quality of service has dropped during that time. We couldn’t hear or understand several of the guys serving the meats. The carving skills were not good.
I simply cannot understand paying that kind of money for a meal and not having free refills on soft drinks. The cost of a coke is over $3 and refills are not included. That is ridiculous.
Our favorite meat last year was the lamb chops. We were talking about it and looking forward to it on this visit, but they didn’t have them at all.
This is a nice place for a special occasion, but not a regular place for us. If something doesn’t improve, I don’t think they will be around much longer in Mobile.
Meat was terrible!!! Tough and dry. Salad bar was good. Side dishes came out after we were finished. Mashed potatoes were the best item.
Love Texas de Brazil. The food is excellent from the salad bar to the carved meats. Service is always excellent.
My wife and I dined at your Mobile, Alabama restaurant this previous Sunday and I must say after being frequent customers, we were highly disappointed. This may just be our last time going. Reason being, we were told lamb chops and beef ribs have been removed from the menu due to lack of business. To be honest, this is one of the main reasons my wife and I have been active patrons since your franchise opened here. I would highly encourage you bring these special items back or prepare to loose even more business from the locals.

We had a very nice time during our first visit. The food was delicious and our server was very polite. It was a bit noisy in the restaurant at times so it was hard to hear our waiter. My only issue I had was that service seemed slow. There was a long wait in between the meats being served and there were several that came around multiple times and others we didn't get to try because they either didn't come out while we were there or came out at the very end. We had a really long time gap between finishing our meal and being served dessert. However, I would be willing to come again as I know that when opening any new business the little kinks have to be worked out.
Waitress was great, food service was very poor. Asked for the garlic top sirloin when first seated and it wasn’t offered until we were ready to leave. Then when it arrived the garlic marinade was burnt and bitter. We had a much better experience at the one in Tampa.
Totally not worth the price!!
Not near the meats listed on website
Food was ok
The server was great but the selections took too long to come around to our table, and the same selections were sent to our table. Didnt get a chance to taste every meat. Not as good as all as the first time we went. Came for my birthday , will not be coming back
Ambiance was looking at the mall parking lot & traffic. There were no extras that I cared for really on salad bar, couldn’t even make a decent salad. Didn’t have sweet tea, wasn’t informed that each pony sprite was $3, so $10 just on non-alcoholic drinks was ridiculous. All steak being cooked med-rare was a negative, some like at least medium. Meats were just ok. I guess I’m spoiled with Rodizio Grill, I thought this would be better than them but definitely not. Servers got real slow coming around toward the end of our visit. I kept waiting for another piece of steak before we left but when they did come around, the offered to the couples around us but not us and I had my green circle up. I’m glad I had a $25 coupon or I would’ve felt really ripped off. No way was this worth the $80 we spent on our meals. I’ll be driving back to Pensacola for RG next time.
Love the atmosphere!! The service was also wonderful, the people there made our dining experience wonderful. The food is absolutely fantastic!!! I’m looking forward to going back soon.
Initial sitting was great. A table for 2 in a corner out of the way was cozy and comfortable. But, as the evening went on, it seemed to be a lost position. Toward the end of the evening we were waiting for dessert and the bill a little too long. Other wise, a very good evening. I did think it was a little on the expensive side.
I always like TDB but this one does not feel as special as most.
Had a great time. Still happy that we don’t have to drive to Pensacola anymore. The meats were delicious, and the salad bar rocked! The lobster bisque was a bit salty, and we weren’t sure if the servers noticed our table medallions, because even though the red side was faced up, they kept offering meats.
But still enjoyed our anniversary!!!
This was my third visit and I must say I noticed some changes, my bread was cold each time the waiter brought it to the table , and they have discontinued the shrimp, both were very disappointing.
The food was good on the salad and hot bar but our server was not educated as to what made up a particular dish. When asked he said there is to many things for him to know what is what. I had to go to my phone to look them up.....that was fun...... but......... Our server was otherwise very good and attentive to our wants.
The variety and volume of meat was excellent. The carvers were spot on and catered to our requests.
I really do appreciate good service and you folks rock. The manager even helped bus our table.
I really like Texas de Brazil and will be back.
Do you have a cure for meat sweats? Probably over did it but very enjoyable, memorable and fun.
Thanks to the team
It was my first time. The salad bar was good. The meat, with the exception of the Parmesan chicken was exceptional. The chicken was red near the bone. The service was about the best that I’ve ever had, anywhere. Our server was great. I’m already planning to go back.
Wonderful birthday dinner
The food was very good but the meat servers did not come around that often.
Our experience was amazing. Our server Brian was phenomenal
Visiting from out of town on a business trip. Took some friends here to eat. Fresh cuts of meat. Delicious!
Been to the one in Birmingham twice, was excited when the one in Mobile opened. Went a few months ago, everything is always good when I go.
I have ate at several Texas de Brazil’s in the South and consider it one of my favorite restaurants . The Mobile location did not meet my expectations, the fillet and other cuts were not rare, it was raw, the Parmesan crusted chicken was not cooked throughly. The bacon wrapped steak was also raw, basically inedible. I will try it again, our wives will not.
I love Tx de Brazil, but based on our last visit I would not recommend it to anyone. Don’t know if something happened and they were short staffed or what. We were frequently out of drinks. I have never had to wait on the servers to bring the meat options before, but we did more waiting than eating this visit.
