Mother's Day Menus & Specials
Opening early at 11am and serving our regular dinner menu and price all day!
If you don’t fit the Mexican National with money appearance, don’t even bother. You will come last to them always here at this establishment. Melissa my waitress made this very blatantly clear as well as her coworkers and manager. All of them saw me and ignored me when I had no silverware and no drinks. This was my second visit hoping that my first was just an isolated incident. Unfortunately not. And I witnessed this with other couples speaking proper English at this establishment right next to me. I assure you, you will be second to these Mexican nationals. And trust me, it’s the the people from Mexico’s fault. They have always been VERY polite to me and they will be to you as well. But if you want to spend good money for bad service go ahead! Trust me, I know the service that this type of restaurant should offer! I frequent Chama Gaúcha and Fogo de Chão VERY frequently in San Antonio. I don’t mind spending $140-$180 for me and a date AT ALL!!! But this McAllen Texas de Brazil is VERY VERY FAR from these respectable locations. Consider yourselves forewarned. Food was good but servers don’t know the difference between medium and well cooked cuts. They’ll serve you from the same skewer and same area of meat either way you ask for it. But meat quality was still pretty good!
Great but pricey and the building itself is freezing.
While the meats were well seasoned, most of the meats were cooked medium to medium well, with a few being well done. I would think a place that advertises their desired cooking temp being medium rear would be such with only a few exemptions. That was not the case. If you prefer your meats over cooked, you will have a great dining experience. If you prefer rear to medium, you may be left wanting.
Had to wait several minutes for a server and then again for our drinks. Nothing was explained to us and then the meat guys appeared to not even know the existence of that side of the restaurant
Great food & atmosphere. Servers were attentive & courteous as always.
Would Recommend to my friends and family And I would go again Delicious
Texas De Brazil in San Antonio was really a good experience for me. All the meat was fresh and the service was outstanding. The ambiance was great too. Mcallen's was also pretty good but the food was not as good as I expected. I believe it is because I made dinner reservations at 9:30. I am sure some of the meat has to stay available. Most of the Picana was really delicious. I did however have some lamb that appeareed to be either reheated and or left over heat to keep fresh too long. That was disappointing. Overall i would go back but i would not go later in the evening but during the day or before 7:00,
well worth price of admission 10/10 would recommend.
Everything was wonderful as always. Our favorite restaurant
Sat next to loud children. Service was great. Food wasn’t as fresh as normal but understandable because it was later in the day and during Covid.
Easter, when you have to wait 12-17 minutes for meat to come around and always the same kind, takes away the unique experience it should be. Never asked if we wanted refills on beverages.
The overall experience was great, couldn't ask for more than what was given. Look forward to continue going and enjoying the same experience and great food and service. Thank you.
I love this place. Always take my friends and family when they visit.
The service was great and the food was amazing it was our 1st time here we will definitely be back :)
Great experience once again. This is our third visit in 5 weeks. Jackie was our server and her attention to diners is 100%,
Our waitress Victoria was the best, I would recommend you'll request her for a great experience
Was really good, but some people would look at our table and not serve us meat, since we turned that meat away before since we had a full plate, wanted more steak, and the guy serving it looked at me multiple times and just passed us like we weren’t there.
Great food and atmosphere would recommend. Also go on an empty stomach because they will not stop until you tell them. Superb customer service.
The server was not having his best day. He appeared like he "had" to be there. One of the servers close to us (female) was more motivated and eager to please her tables. The salad bar was missing several things. No soups were available.
Food was amazing. Maybe alittle bit more options but other then that it was great. Enjoy the food and service.
We thoroughly enjoy Texas de Brazil. The food is always outstanding, as is the service. It seems to be busy most of the time, so noise level is moderate, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. Parking is sometimes tight, since it is attached to the mall. It is a great place with great service and great food (if you like the style of service of a Brazilian steak house).
Traveled here from Corpus Christi to celebrate a special birthday thinking it was similar to Chama Gaucha in San Antonio. The service and food was not good at all. She offered us lemonades, didn’t tell us they were not free refills. The gauchos hardly came to our table. We kept looking around having to call them. Our plates spent more time clear than with food on them. Definitely not worth the money and will never return.
Restaurant is very clean and wait staff super attentive. Salad bar was good, not the best I’ve ever had, but they have enough of a selection that even a picky eater can find something they like. The meats were cooked to perfection and bountiful. I highly recommend reserving a table as it can be a bit of a wait without.
Amazing experience once again! Can’t wait for new meat offered for the next season.
Servers need more training on wines and wine promotions.
The food was very good perfect everything was perfect
Food and service was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive. Staff's wine education is imperative.
Fantastic service and food. Thank you! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
The food and salad bar were amazing! The drinks as well
I was a little disappointed in the meet on this trip I had trouble getting rare meat and it was tough also they do not have lobster bisque at lunch
Excellent customer service! And the food was fantastic- great selection and the meat service was perfect !
Made reservation but still had to wait like the customers that didn’t make reservations.!
Had to wait a while to get meats to my table.. my plate was empty for 10 plus minutes waiting.. ate a lot of salad waiting:( waitress was very attentive and nice but the problem was don’t think the kitchen was ready to serve..
If the food wasn’t great the staff would have made up for it, but the food was amazing as well!
Went in a date with my husband and loved everything. The food, the employees, the quality. We will definitely be going back soon.
The current salad bar operation is poor, didn’t really want the salad after waiting for the server to make our salads and we love salads bars!
This was our anniversary and on the reservation but never acknowledged. People without reservations were seated before us. No one at the hostess desk. Told there was no bartender so our drinks were served 20 minutes apart/ separately. Service was extremely slow. Had to request water refills, gaucho servers. Warm sides were not offered until were done eating. Manager was not available. 3pm
First time going and I will be going back! It’s a great experience and the staff was just amazing!
Overall it was good. But the website should let people know that the salad and hot area is closed and the waiters will bring what you want. Part of the great thing about these places is the ability to get what you want, when ypu want it and how much you want. Had we known that before hand, we would probably have chosen to wait until that area was open
Very good food and friendly service
