   Table area was dirty, server rarely came by, mosquitoes flying around our table. Carvers didn’t pay attention to the circle pointing up with red and kept coming by even though we didn’t want any.

   Everything was great until we went to pay and they would not give us the standard military discount (which we always got before), due to the fact we were using gift cards that we purchased from Costco. Gift cards should be viewed as cash. We were disappointed and had plans to go back but now that they won’t honor the military discount with our gift cards we won’t be going back. All other aspects of our visit were great!

   Everything was very good, food drinks and service. Waiting time was ok. Desert ok . The only suggestion is that they offer several times the same meat and when I asked for specific meat that was very good to my taste and that they had offered only once they say no because they had an order to serve all the different types of meat ( when to be honest they had already offered several times the same chicken over an over!) finally when the server came with the meat I wanted the server only gave me a little bit of it and left! no time to order more.. That was the only thing I didnt like, if it is all you can eat , he should have waited until we said ok no more!... Over all everything ok.

   We will probably not return to this location. Food was average, nothing that was outstanding. My wife asked what meat is was and his response was, cow. There was no help in anyway to explain anything. At one point we had nothing to drink and no one to help, but employees walking around every where but not helping anyone. Salad bar was empty, by 8 alot of the items were dry. Cooking staff were all getting food and very rude. I understood they have to eat, but please don't push a customer, ever. This restaurant was a big let down.

    Visited for Mexican Mother's Day on May 10th. Got there a little early for a 5:00 p.m. reservation. Glad I booked early they were as I expected quite busy for the holiday but waiter was still very attentive. Gauchos came by with more regularity than even a regular day would have provided. We drop in several times a year and Mother's Day is one of those days annually. Good Job and Kudos to all involved.

    We love eating at Texas de Brazil and have NEVER had an issue until yesterday. We sat in a corner far away from the kitchen because the center area was just too crowded. Biggest mistake!! Our server was good, but took a while for her to bring the bread and mash potato sides to the table. We waiting 15 minutes before someone came to the table to offer meat, and when they did remember us the meat was very raw for our liking despite telling the server that we like Medium. They forgot about us so much so that I had to ask to speak to the manager. She came and i explained to her that I know that we are seated in the corner but we are being forgotten and to send the gentlemen to our area with medium meats. After that the servers picked it up just a bit. In the times that we have eaten there we have never had to get up for seconds to the salad bar or other sides cause we were constantly being offered meat, but this time that was definitely not the case. My husband and I were celebrating a date night /his bday and this is the first time that we left very unhappy and unsatisfied for the amount we paid for our meal. So not worth it last night and a waste of gas for the drive all the way from Harlingen.

    I’ve been to multiple Brazilian steakhouses. This was my least favorite. Although the atmosphere was very impressive, the food took a major role in my experience. There was only 4 meat selections going around for the time I was there. The cuts were mostly well done and medium well. The flavoring was almost tasteless. I would probably not come back.

    We were a party of 4. It took over 15 minutes before anyone showed up after we were seated. The salad bar was lacking versus the pictures of it on the website. That was disappointing. The food that was on the salad bar was good but the place cards were mislabeled versus the food location. The service was lacking on refilling the drinks. The service offering the meats was very good and consistent and the meats were all prepared very well. It would be nice to have the sauces for all the meats in one location and we’ll labeled. If I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, I would not have known what it was.

    Service was bad this time. The entire family had plates of food from the salad bar and several slices of meat prior to the waitress coming to the table for the first time to take drink orders. Maybe she came back once between then and when I had to flag her down for the tip. I believe the minimum tip amount listed on the check was 18%. There's no way that service like that deserves 25 dollars.

    Routine visitor to the restaurant. I always reserve through Open Table. Never disappointed. This trip was during Lent on Friday so honestly things were a bit slow which had the added benefit that the gauchos came by with meats every minute or two. We couldn't eat fast enough to keep up. Kinda nice to have that many options that quickly. Was my wife's birthday and they provided a nice dessert. To date have not had a negative experience and will continue my visits.

    Well, well, and very well. Familia RGV, you may add one more happy day of the week on your calendar. TDB Texas Do Brazil now opens on Thursday for lunch. You betta not miss on the picanha and flank steak, the beverages outstanding, desserts, salad bar, hospitality, and service. I was so thrilled seen Mr. Filipi’s face on Thursday for lunch. Friday lunch is a must too. Don’t forget those VIP’s card for 1/2 price dinners. Filipi, the manager, is on point all the time and never leaves you empty handed. Well done catering for the community on Thursday lunch. I love it.
