It was excellent! And our waitress was awesome! The whole meal was worth the price
Texas de Brazil is my favorite Brazilian restaurant and I have tried quite a few chains and locally owned. I attended this Texas de Brazil on a Monday evening which is different from my normal Saturday visits. This Monday worked because I was off, I needed to use my $20 gift card from Father's Day and ironically they are celebrating their 20 year anniversary this month so there are $.20 deserts available for purchase with each paid adult meal every Monday in July. Our reservation was at 5pm which was when they first opened. There were basically about 4 tables being served during my visit which is different from the 20 - 30 tables that I am use to. It was a lot quieter and the service came a lot faster since there were less competing tables. It got to the point where I had to turn my card to red to simply take a break because my plate was full of meat. Everything tasted excellent and so fresh. I almost hurt myself eating because it was so good that I didn't want to stop. We had our 2 year daughter and 4 year old son with us too. Our daughter was free and my son was $5. He loved the sausage and she loved the salad. My wife favorite was the beef rib. I am a lamb eater myself and both the lamb chops and leg of lamb were perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing. For desert my wife got the key lime pie and I got the carrot cake. Both of which were good enough to pay the full price so the $.20 was an extra bonus.
Food was alright, except that the lamb, chicken, and pork cuts were very dry. Beef and salad bar was excellent though.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The service was great but the meats were tough and over cooked. This was not worth the money. Maybe we just had a bad experience?
First visit for us. Excellent service and impressive food quality. Steak was exquisite with the Flank being especially impressive. “Salad” bar was not huge but very fresh upscale selections. For us an excellent choice for special occasions. A little pricey but really worth it for experience.
Gorgeous restaurant, amazing array of cuisine options on the salad bar, lobster bisque is highly recommended. The meats are almost all cooked to perfection, the rock salt and searing make you wish you did not fill up so soon. It is pricey but well worth a special occasion treat.
The food, atmosphere and staff were good. I wouldn’t go back for the $135 that we spent for the 2 of us. We couldn’t possibly eat enough to justify that amount for us. The plant decor on top of the salad bar wasn’t designed for tall people, it was constantly entangling me as I walked around making selections. I’m glad we tried it once but we will not be back unless it’s a super special occasion and we are super hungry.
The food was excellent! There was just more than you could eat. The service was very good also.
Pleasant atmosphere, Hannah our server was very pleasant & efficient as well as the manager.
The salad bar area is enough for a full meal, but meat eaters need the whole deal
Amazing experience! Pricey, but top quality.
This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere.
It was my husbands birthday and it was nice that they knew that from the start thanks to this app. Servers were very knowledgeable, patient and attentive. That is very rare these days. Salad bar was amazing, sooo many choices! My husband really enjoyed the meats. We had a great time.
Very nice great waiter, salad bar was out of this world. Everthing was delicious.
The service was great and the food was amazing! Love coming here because it’s different than everywhere else, nice to switch it up a little bit.
If you’re a meat lover, I highly recommend Texas de Brazil. Not only are you getting a superb salad bar with assorted veggies, cheeses and other specialties, you will get to choose from a full selection of meats, all grilled to your satisfaction. My personal favorites are the picanha, beef ribs, flank, sausage and lamb chops. Great wine selection and desserts If you so choose.
T de B is beautifully and tastefully decorated and the service is outstanding. You can go to any of the top steakhouses in Lexington, but I contend you can get at least as good a selection cooked to your liking at T de B. Plus there’s so much more to choose from.
My family of three visited Texas de Brazil on the 4th of July. We had reservations and were seated promptly upon our arrival. The restaurant was half full throughout our visit. Our server was delightful and took care of us well but spoke very loudly when she was explaining everything to us. The mixed drinks were not very good and one had to be exchanged for another because it was so bad. The salad bar provided several items to choose from but was not overwhelming. The hot bar only had four items available and those items were just mediocre. When the desert tray was presented to us, nothing was shared about the deserts being an extra cost. They were $8.50 each and for the price of the meal, they should have been included. Do not plan on a relaxing visit with uninterrupted conversation someone was always coming by the table to offer you more meat. The total for the evening was $175.00 plus a $30.00 tip. This was way too expensive for the experience and we will not be returning for another visit.
My wife and I have dined at this restaurant 4 times this year and it was a first for our two guest. We all enjoyed our dining experience. The one thing we all noticed was the filets were all cooked well done rather than medium rare.
Great food, attentive service - we even met the manager! We will definitely return.
Phenomenal! We plan to go back very soon!
Food is outstanding as is service very attentive. Not cheap but well worth..As far as "salad" bar, I'd call it more of an "appetizer". Great choices all excellent quality. Meats are fabulous, desserts are great.
Fantastic birthday dinner for the family
Great place for any occasion. Been here several times since it's opened and never been disappointed. Well worth the price and the drive....already making plans for my next trip.
The food was plentiful, but not all that tasty. For the cost, I expected much more. The saving grace for me was the Caramel Cheesecake! Unfortunately, I don’t see myself returning or recommending Texas de Brazil to anyone.
Loved our server Mark he was great .. the Manager coming around checking was a plus.. the over all restaurant was great.. The bar made a great Lemon Drop
We were here to celebrate our anniversary, and were very pleased with our experience. The food was very good overall. The meats were great (the beef options were my favorite, and my s/o really like the lamb options). The "salad bar" area was a bit disappointing, but the meat was the centerpiece for the meal. All staff were very nice and accommodating, and they gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. I highly recommend the flank steak and the chocolate mousse cake!
Food was very good. Server was very pleasant but very slow. Pricey.
Birthday dinner was nice and servers were awesome. It was the birthday persons first time and he had a great time.
Everything was wonderful! Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, and our server Kyle was such a genuine, kind person.
I even inserted "several high fives" into the special requests box just joking around, and, no joke, 20 seconds after arriving I had received three high fives. Hilarious! No idea they even paid any attention to that.
My wife and I truly recommend this place and we'll be back. Keep doing what you're doing!
We love this place
Food was GREAT and plenty of it the soft drinks are over priced and a desert should come with the meal for the price maybe smaller pieces Our Server Aaron F was top notch he suggested sauces to eat with different meats which made the meat even better will be back
This was truly a fantastic restaurant. The various meat was presented with class. The salad bar included specialty items and the hot foods presented well. The staff were all polite, friendly and attentive to each member of our party. We will definitely return. A special thanks to our server, Lupe.
Father’s Day dinner. We enjoyed the experience. Always a treat to eat here.
Really enjoyed the food. Not infant friendly because they didn't have sling high chairs for our 2 infants.
Father’s Day Lunch
Food was excellent, service was slower than expected.
Took my Dad and Brother to Texas de Brazil for Father’s Day. Excellent food and service. I know the price may sound expensive, but it’s worth it!
As always the food was excellent and the service was on the same level.
The meat was dried out the salad bar was wonderful the people working there was wonderful but wasn't worth what we spent I think that it is a big hype the waiter that waited on us was a very good waiter
