Polite, engaging service and delicious meat, who could want more
Regan was superb and entertaining! Food delicious!! We will be back!!
Can’t wait to come back. Excellent food, service, atmosphere.
Great Experience! Awesome food!
Awesome birthday experience for my daughter! She said "I am just as excited about this dinner as Disney World!" She's 23!
First time dining at Texas de Brazil. Great experience from the moment we walked in. Great service and excellent food. Really enjoyed it. We will return.
The food was good and I enjoyed it, but I felt a little rushed and overwhelmed. I would have liked to have had a few minutes to enjoy the awesome salad bar before I was bombarded with so many more choices of meat. I felt a little rushed. I realize we have the red and green markers but I was following the crowd who had been there before it
Good food and service enjoyed our time there. Will return.
Excellent service, great cocktails and the selections were excellent. I had purchased the VIP dining card so it was an excellent deal. Definitely a treat if you want to try many different options. Oh, the salad bar is way beyond anything you will experience unless you go to a Brazilian steakhouse. So many delicious options...I could enjoy going to TDB just for the salad bar.
My favorite restaurant, but then I’m a carnivore. Wonderful grilled meats and a varied salad bar, I find this place a great value. We always go there for special occasions.
CONS :My wife is from Brazil, She cooks Brazilian food, I personally think could have more desserts varieties, the most popular Brazilian drink ( caipirinha) was made wrong, didn’t taste like caipirinha at all and it was very pricey. PROS : Good place to eat, excellent reception, clean and Parking access.👏🏻👏🏻
It was great! Best restaurant in town
Excellent experience. We were seated right away, service was spectacular, the food was delicious and consistent. We didn’t experience a single hiccup. It was a lovely birthday celebration.
Second time around and just as fabulous as the first! Everything was excellent.
We visited Texas de Brazil for our anniversary. The food and service were outstanding! Our server was wonderful and very attentive, making for a memorable evening.
We celebrated a birthday dinner for 7 people. It was a Sunday night and there were only two other tables with people. We have been here a few times and normally it is excellent. This time the meat was excellent, but the it seemed like everything on the salad bar had been sitting out all day, little bit of bread that was available was all dried out. Everything was dried out and filmy on top. Not sure how they manage have such a broad variety of things on the salad bar with so few people, but the need to change something. They did allow us to bring in a birthday cake and provided plates which was great.
This was our first time ever eating a place like this. It was a great atmosphere, a great setting and great food. I would recommend updating the “salad bar” a little more with better selections of finger foods and meats and also salad options. I love a good salad bar but there wasn’t much options to make one with. The food was fantastic once served. I ordered a Brazilian margarita before our meal which got lost from our table to the bar... finally I had to ask to check on my drink and they “lost” the ticket and assured me they’d take care of it. The manager brought me a drink and said first round was on him. It was highly professional and he took care of us all night.
Excellent food... great ambiance and service. I definitely come again and bring my friends and love ones!
Love this place. My favorites are the picanha, lamb chops and flank steak. The salad bar also has a wonderful assortment of appetizer, cheeses and salad items, all top quality.
A great value for the money.
Great service. Tons of food.
This visit was for my Birthday. We enjoyed the visit, the food, and the service. Nicole kept an eye on our table and took care of all our needs. And you know we will be back!!!
I was not impressed...I understood the concept going in, but if I am going to pay $250 for a meal - including beverages - I don’t want to get up to get my own salad and side dishes. And if I do, I want them hot and to taste better than what I can make at home. Very disappointed...will not be back.
My overall experience wasn’t as great as my previous experience at a different Brazilian grill. Just a side not all the pork I tried was in my opinion did not taste good at all.
Food and service were wonderful. Went to this restaurant for a birthday and they gave us a free dessert.
It was a wonderful experience. Lot of great food, wonderful staff. Definitely will go again
Always great to celebrate a birthday with this place.
The lobster bisque was amazing!
I love the food at Texas de Brazil. In my opinion you can’t find better anywhere else. This was my third visit in a row where I received gritty plates Or water glass. I’m not sure if there something wrong with the dishwasher but this caused me some concern.
Hi Derek, We appreciate your feedback as we strive to provide an excellent dining experience for every guest. We will share your feedback with our management team. Thank you.
Food was excellent!! If they brought meat to you that wasn’t cooked to your preference they came back very quickly with what you wanted. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Only downside was it was pretty loud in there but it’s worth it to eat the food!! Salad bar was good just ran out quickly. It’s quite pricey and the dessert is not included in the price so make sure you’re prepared for the bill!
First time trying a Brazilian steakhouse. While the food was good, not sure this style of restaurant is for me. There were so many things that I just got too full to try, but the place is a bit pricey so it’s not something I would do very often.
Salad bar: lots of great stuff. Hot bar was a little disappointing. (Cod, lobster bisque, plain white rice, au gratin potatoes)
Meats: they stop by so frequently & it happens so fast I can’t even remember everything we tried. Bacon-wrapped filet mignon was my favorite. Unless you love pork/chicken, don’t waste your stomach space on those meats. Go for the steaks.
Dessert: it was my friend’s birthday so he got to pick a free dessert. He got carrot cake — okay but not impressive and obviously frozen.
Side note: if you get soda, you will be charged for each individual refill (they bring small bottles).
This is one of those places that you go to once or twice and don't go back. The place is too expensive to make it in Lexington on a long term basis. Even our nicest restaurants are not as pricey and the quality of the food at those restaurant is on par if not better. The food at Texas de Brazil all pretty much all tastes the same and whatever the bottom sirloin is was awful. I almost spit it out. I had signed up for the email gift cert which didn't come through for another day, and then the coupons i had were only valid through the week which was in fine print at the bottom. So i went in thinking it was going to be half price when really it was $120. Also, there was no indicator from the server that the sodas were by the glass. Overall, it was not worth the money.
Overall this dining experience was certainly above average. The food was very good for the most part. The filet was average and clearly not the top grade.....good but not mouth watering. The ribs were also average with lots of fat. The restaurant ambience was pleasant and quiet. Service was well above average and perhaps the best feature of the experience. I will dine here again. Personally, I would like to see more menu options rather than the all or nothing approach.
I was very happy with the food and service. The varierty was great and the addition of ribeye cuts was amazing. The only minor complaint I had was the cod soup on the hot side of the salad bar got overcooked and was dried out. That is normally my favorite salad bar item.
Our server, Reagan, was phenomenal! She made our dinner experience that much more rewarding with her knowledge about the food, and wine. Her personality added a special element to our evening, and we will definitely be back to see her! The food quality is superb, and the options at the salad bar are always top quality and fresh. We love Texas de Brazil!
Great food! Great Service! Staff was Spectacular!!!! Definitely will be going again when in the area next!
It was a unique experience but quite pricey for dinner (over $100 for 2 of us with no liquor). I thought the meats came out quite slowly so we found ourselves eating our sides ans waiting on "the next thing" which made dinner awkward and slow. The food was good overall and we had good service from our hostess, just wish it was a more cohesive experience.
Great good & ambiance. Must bring your appetite!!
My wife and I, along with our 18 month old son, went for my birthday. This was our 7th or 8th visit to the Lexington location. It was, as it has been every time, really tasty. We request our beef and lamb selections extra rare, which they were able to accommodate exceptionally. The default is medium rare. My recommendations for your first visit are:
Recommendation number 1: come hungry.
Recommendation number 2: avoid the chicken and pork offerings until you have had the leg of lamb/lamb chops, picanha, flank steak, and filet. They tend to push the less expensive meats. Recommendation number 3: try the beef ribs.
Recommendation number 4: get the mint jelly and horseradish sauces off of the salad bar to eat with your meats.
I give Texas de Brazil a definite 9/10 for any person who loves meat!
Excellent service and food and the manager and check in women was fabulous
Such a treat. Great indulgence and way to celebrate.
