Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Tex
Service is awesome and so is the food
We love coming here. This was our third time and the staff is always so friendly. Thank you to Juanita for being such a sweetheart!
The food was excellent and our service was excellent
It was the busiest it's ever been, and I've been here many times. There weren't enough servers and the selection of meats was very low.
My wife and I found ourselves sitting waiting for soemeone to come by with meat.
On our way home we talked about finding another place to go to, and we have been to Texas Brazil for anniversaries and birthdays.
Lunch menu wasn't great. The meat selection was sad. The bar area didn't have a great variety. I've been so hyped up about this place since I've seen the place in Vegas and I got let down. First time trying the place, most likely will be my last. I came on Valentine's Day and it wasn't even busy yet we still got slow service.
My husband and I usually go to Fogo de Chao but we decided to try Texas de Brazil. It turned out we prefer Texas de Brazil a little more.
This was our first time at Texas de Brazil, and our waiter, Garrett, made the experience so enjoyable. He explained everything in detail, kept our water glasses full and answered all our questions and even asked the "gouchos" to bring us more of our favorite meats back to our table. It was my husbands' birthday we were celebrating and Garrett brought him a complementary piece of cinnamon cheesecake out for dessert with a candle! How nice was that?!! My husband posted our experience on his facebook and talked to his brother in vegas about this restaurant, and apparently there is one in Vegas also and his brother loved it too! I loved the huge salad bar area. ( I might just do that for my meal next time!) We had a very relaxing lunch and did not feel rushed in any way, so happy I took my friends advice and went to Texas de Brazil in Irvine!!
Very flavorful and a lot of different tasting foods.
Lots of options.
Too pricey. They wouldn’t allow us to use the teacher’s discount and pay with gift cards.
Great experience, very attentive service and variety of meats was quite extensive. If something could be improved, it would be the salad bar selection and the taste of the cheese bread. Otherwise very flavourful and value was incredible. Would definitely return again.
Always yummy! Definitely going back to this place!
Excellent service. Got seated in a timely manner and received quality service.
Tried it for the first time and while I love Brazilian steak houses, the overall experience and food quality were not to par for the local and national competition. The cost was very expensive relative to the value. They had new credit card machines which took over 20 minutes to complete the very awkward process of paying our bill with clients at the table. They accused us of not having the funds, then the manager came out an apologized and offered no feedback or support of any kind. We definitely will be going to FOGO DE CHAO in the future. ADIOS!
Meat variety was poor and servers kept bringing same type of meat
Juanita is wonderful! The servers were very courteous and kind.
Service was exceptional. Friendly, fast and food was delicious
I eat here often and service is always hit or miss. When I went on 1/25 for dinner the gauchos were fast and friendly. However, our server was terrible. Never check up on us. It was always someone else to do his job ? Very strange. He just was not friendly.
Great food and great location
Very good experience. I do recommend it from reception, service, background music, to great variety and quality food.
The meats were well prepared. Good selection at food bar. Attentive servers.
This was my first time and was not disappointed. The service was excellent, the server came over multiple times to ask if we had any questions what are favorites were.
The salad bar was amazing, could make a meal on that alone. The variety of the meats was wonderful. The steak wrapped in bacon was mouthwatering. We had peacan pie, delicious. I have already recommended the restaurant to friends and hope to go again. Excellent for special occasions. Our server explained about the red/green disk telling us to start the many meats. Was so impressed how each meat was served and sliced right at our table. It was the first time that I
had lamb and it was delicious. Pork can be rather dry, but the pork chops were so moist and so much flavor. We had the house wine and it very nice.
The food was great. The restaurant wasn't that crowded so the meat came to our table often and was hot and fresh. It was a good night out. Its a bit pricey but no more than a steak house. And you didn't have to spend extra on sides.
Food was delicious. Loved all the choices and garlic. Service was on point. Our kids really enjoyed their birthday dinner!
First filet was tasty and done just right. Very tender with just the right amount of salt and sizzle. That was the highlight of the night. Then the bacon wrapped fillet, also good. But it went downhill from there. The Parmesan chicken was dry. The flank was chewy and way overcooked. Same with the picanha. I didn't expect the other cuts to be as good as the filet but it should be better than what I could make at home. We went back to the filet with and without bacon wrap. The second batch came out chewy and inconsistent. We enjoyed the sausage (hard to mess that up). After a half hour of light grazing, drinks and conversation, we noticed they had more meats available than were being walked around. So we asked for the ribs. Unfortunately what they brought out was soaked in grease and killed our appetite for the night. I'm glad we used dining cards from Costco so we at least got a discount. Because at $200+ for a family of 4, I would expect much better quality and variety. Also as a last note, be careful that certain drinks are refillable and others are not. If not sure, please ask ahead of time to save yourself any additional salt into the wound that will be your bill.
Aaron, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are sorry to hear of your poor dining experience and have forwarded your concerns to our Irvine management team for review and improvement. Thank you for dining with us.
Meat eaters dream come true. Also includes a great salad bar. I have nothing but great things to say.
Great food but not worth $60 a person. Too noisy. You can’t carry on a conversation without screaming across the table. Great service. Had fixings for a Cesar salad but no Cesar salad dressing.
All of the hostess in the front seemed upset that we arrived early for our reservation and made us feel VERY unwelcome. Made us feel very uncomfortable, we almost left. The only thing that made it a pleasant experience was the service from our server and people bringing the food. I would expect better service for the price of food.
Excelent food and customer service. We tried every cut of meat and the flavors were just right. To finish off we had their flan and Brazilian cheesecake. The deserts were the perfect finish to our dinner. Definitely coming back.
Food was great and yummy and server was nice and helpful. I would definitely be going again. For the wife and I it was just over $150 for dinner and a drink and 2 desserts.
Our server, CJ was great!
Food was delicious, salad bar was awesome, service was excellent!
We had a party of 6, 5 adults and one 11 yr old child. We were charged for 8 adult dinners. I did not realize this until I checked the receipt that was text to me when I got home.
When the manager refunded me the difference, I had to point out the 20% tip was based on the almost $200 dollar overcharge!
I also noticed later we were charged for 8 drinks instead of 5, one only had water. Not going to going back for $12.
We dine here quite frequently and will probably check receipts more carefully at all restaurants from now on.
Manager was pretty non chalant about it.
This is the 10 times I’ve been to this restaurant and I usually enjoy going. This time, the servers with the food took forever. There weren’t many meat choices and it got to a point I would try many lesser cuts because I had been waiting so long.
Was excited to go and have some Brazilian BBQ. Very over priced, food was ok, not great, service was great. I will not be going back to this restaurant, not worth what the charge.
Food was delicious. Waiters kept coming around with their different types of meat. Recommend reservations
First time here and I was impressed. Friendly staff excellent food and the waiter was very nice and attentive.
The menu should state that drinks and desert are not included in the lunch/dinner price.
It feels a little rushed when they are delivering the meats.
