Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Texas de Brazil.
Birthday celebration for two couples. Great salad bar and sides buffet. A bit noisy with poor acoustics, although nice atmosphere. You do pay for the surroundings as dinner for four with one drink apiece was over $300. But a nice restaurant for a special occasion.
Kind of... even the food is amazing the service with extremely poor. Not explaining well the service cost us an extra $18 just for water since our waitress offered us regular or sprinkle water as was the same... we found out a $18 charge for water at the end of our meal
Everything is ok food and server. Ambience and pricing kinda bit steep if your going to compate it with other brazilian restaurants
Our second visit, and it was equally as good as the first. We love this place! The meats are so delicious, every one of them cooked to perfection. We shared the key lime and Brazilian cheesecake...YUM! They have a really great team at this location. They go above and beyond. The wine list is respectable. We tried their own label- Pinot blend. It was very good. Recommend to sign up on their email list for discounts. Tip: make sure you’re really really hungry before going, and take your time eating...
We were there to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday!!!!
Awesome experience, great food and service!!
Experience was nothing that I have ever experienced. BUT READ THE BOTTOM LINE ON PRICING!! THEY DO NOT EXPLAIN THAT WHEN YOU ARE SEATED. THEY LEAVE A BOOK AND SAY IT'S THE DRINK MENU. NOT!!! WE WERE TOLD ALL INCLUSIVE. NO REFILLS ON TEA. THEY CHARGE FOR EVERY REFILL. NEVER EXPLAINED. THEN THERE'S THE DESSERT. NEVER TOLD IT WAS EXTRA. BY AND BY, 350.00 FOR 4 PEOPLE. A LITTLE RIDICULOUS. SO I ENCOURAGE YOU TO ASK QUESTIONS WHEN SEATED. THAT'S IF YOU CAN HEAR. VERY NOISY!!!!! I NOTED THAT I WOULD REFER PEOPLE TO DINE THERE. LIKE I SAID, ASK QUESTIONS AND BE CLEAR ON PRICING. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND SERVICE WAS SPOT ON. OH AND WATER, WHEN THEY ASKED STILL OR CARBONATED. WE SAID STILL, LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT THEY CHARGE FOR THAT TOO. SO GET YOUR WATER OUT OF THE PITCHER, NOT THE BOTTLED THEY BROUGHT (TASTED LIKE TAP WATER ANYWAY). AGAIN WAS NOT TOLD THERE WAS A CHARGE FOR THE WATER.
This was our last chance to use our VIP Dining card before expiration. This card when purchased allows a 50% reduction in the usual cost of the meal for up to 12 meals. It lasts six months only, and this was the last chance for using it before expiration. We have been here repeatedly because of the dining card - these meals are too expensive to eat here frequently otherwise. The food consisted of the usual high standard cuts of many types of animal proteins. The starting buffet was a good array of cold salad items with cheeses and salamis. The meats when they came were bountiful and, as usual, over salted. Service was brisk and attentive - and as usual, the restaurant was very noisy and conversation difficult to almost impossible. Overall, the meal was good value, but only because of the VIP Dining card discount. I think I might purchase the VIP Dining card again when it is offered in the future.
Great food and service!
Nice Restaurant but with the Restaurant Week coupon this restaurant is still ridiculously over priced.. I believe this will be a 1 Hit Wonder Restaurant also for how much the Tip was I thought the service would be much better.
A fun way to have a meal. The food is quite good and authentic Brazilian dining. We enjoyed this dining experience.
All the food was very salty thus making you want to drink plenty of water. They offered you bottled spring water but didn’t tell you that there was a charge for it. They removed the charge when they saw us shocked to see it on the bill. Overall they had a good selection of meats and experience was good. Overpriced for an average person appetite.
We came to the restaurant for a birthday party. My 12-year-old son was not even offered the free dessert or any celebration although we announced it.
The salad bar is very poor the atmosphere is terrible as it's facing the mall you could see forever 21 at other stores people are walking along the big windows.
The meet is very chewy and the selection is extremely limited we are big fans of Brazilian Churrascaria's very often we go to Fogo de Chao. there is only one person walking around with meat at all times the selection of meats it's very poor.
This time we wanted to surprise our son for his birthday. It was a terrible experience I would not recommend this place I will never go back.
We started out getting a drink at the bar during happy hour, then we found out that we could order happy hour drinks at our table, that is a wonderful touch. The food and service was wonderful, except for the chicken. Apparently we were sitting behind a poll and the servers could not see us, so we were told right before we were leaving, so we never were asked if we wanted chicken. It makes me wonder what else we might have missed. We did have a great time and left the restaurant completely full!!!
Excell food and fantastic service
The noise level was VERY VERY loud. The mash potatoes were cold and appeared on the table while we were getting salad. There was no salt & Pepper on the table. We needed to ask for that. And we had to ask for knifes. I would tell people to go.
Excellent food and service!!
The meats were cooked to perfection, and if you have a “big eater” as I did, the price is right! The service was excellent...servers were constantly coming by the table. I was a bit disappointed in the warm sides...mushrooms had cornstarch (or some thickening agent that made consistency and taste off); potatoes were too salty. Loved the bananas! Salad bar had some good items (asparagus and good variety of cheeses) and some so-so items (salads like cous-cous). Overall, good experience!
Too expensive for the food that was served. Hot bar was luke warm. Some of the meat was tough and dry. Waitress did not comply too our request.
We've been to this location several times and our visit on 9-18-19 was really on point. The meats were the best we've had yet - everything was absolutely excellent. Perfect visit and appreciated the extra care taken by the waitstaff to bring extra sauces etc. for us to try.
Great food selections everywhere! From salad bar to lobster bisque to, of course, meats.
Excellent food. Too noisy for me and a bit chilly.
Service doesn’t match price. Had to ask for refill of my drink 3x. Old plates not cleared. Took 20min Roger and pay my bill.
My dog, wife, and I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor seating and everything else. It's superior to the typical restaurant experience.
Took my family out to Teaxs de Brazil Carlsbad. Once again excellent service and excellent food!
Quality of food was delicious. Service can improve. The waitress that was helping us was really bad with service.
Food was amazing and the side dishes were a perfect compliment to the perfectly seasoned meat.
No good. Maybe having been to others I just expected more. Server rarerly came back. Had to hunt down people to help us. Sad, but we won’t be back
Thank you so much for making the birthday dinner so special.
GREAT PLACE, AND GREAT FOOD. VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF, AND THE MANAGER IS AN EXCELLENT GUY, VERY POLITE. THANKS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE DURING MY WIFE'S BIRTHDAY.
I thought the food was overall fairly good, the service was ok. I would have liked some attention to detail on the tables
One example was one do the servers dropped some meat while cutting and walked off. It was still there when we left 30 mins later.
For 175 for two people I expected better
Delightful evening. Service, food, venue spot on. Will be back.
The food, service and atmosohere were perfect. All meat portions were seasoned perfectly.
Service was great for the most part. Our server was super attentive. One of the gauchos seemed particularly moody. Most of them didn’t care if our signs were flipped to red and continued to offer us meat.
Meats were good, but some were well done (they’re supposed to be medium rare unless you request otherwise). Lobster bisque was good. Salad bar was okay.
After going to Vegas and Orlando locations this was a smaller location and I felt maybe there was less food coming around maybe cause it wasn’t busy on a Tuesday, and for sure the food was cooked more than the other restaurants. The Vegas location especially had more rare meats which I prefer. This is my favorite restaurant but maybe my least favorite location I’ve been to, which sucks cause it is closest to my house. I’ll be trying Irvine next. I also wish it wasn’t in a mall but I will be coming back. Excellent top notch service from our waitress and meat handlers.
We love ❤ TDB , we have been many times. Service and food are great. We don't like how the drinks are served, we feel soft drinks and juice should be complimentary with each meal for the price.
First time visit. We sat outside on their patio, very nice. The service is excellent, the staff are very polite and really care about your experience. The food is plentiful, as expected, also keep in mind that you will have essentially 2 choices. The dinner at $47 or salad bar only at $29. They do have a lunch special menu and a happy hour as well. Plan on spending $250 + for a family of four. The salad bar has a sautéed white fish, rice, etc. and other hot food items as well. All very good. The salad bar itself is not overwhelming, they stick to the hits, again all very good. Now on to the meats...All were delicious really, each meat is presented on a skewer, individually, and by separate servers. The meats were all delicious, several beef, lamb and chicken choices, and I think they said there’s 18 different meats. Wow! What’s great is you can get the steak off the skewer medium rare thru medium well. They served us 2 side dishes sautéed banana(sweet), and garlic mash potatoes. Both were good. There’s a respectable wine list and cocktail choices as well. I recommend their house label sauvignon blanc, and the Meiomi Pinot noir. Overall... it’s expensive, but not necessarily overpriced. We look forward to our return.
The steak and salads were very tasty but took forever to get served in our table. Sometimes the guys with the meat were passing us without stopping at our table or just not coming to our table. Cocktails were not good, the limes used to prepare the drinks had a bitter taste, not fresh. We were not charged for the drinks and ordered a glass of wine.
