Dinner was just ok this time. Food took a very long time to arrive and the waitress was decent. Definitely have had a much better experience before and food. So sub standard this time!
We hadn't been to Texas Cattle Company since last spring. We usually prefer Seafood but occasionally, a good steak sounds good and we typically think of Texas Cattle Company when the desire presents itself... We know the quality of the meat to be high, it is always cooked to perfection with that BBQ smoked flavor we like. Service is always prompt and friendly and the background is low allowing for conversation....
First visit back since Covid delta circulated here in Fl last month, August, and we were just as happy as always with everything start to finish! The place was hopping but there were plenty of servers and they were on the ball, as was the manager! Everyone kept it moving! We were thrilled to see ppl living their lives and saying we're SOOOO over this Covis BS!
Nice, great steaks
Our dinner was delicious. The only complaint was that our dinner arrived at the same time as our appetizer.
We had a reservation and still waited to be seated. Once seated we had to wait several minutes to be greeted by our server and get waters. Throughout the night our water glasses were empty and we had to share water with each other. The food when it came out was good
We were seated and served promptly. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Their Dang Bang shrimp appetizer is the best to be found around town, and their salad is one of our favorites. The steaks were cooked as requested and were tasty. We both ordered broccoli as our side dish, but next time I’ll select something else. With several dessert choices, it was difficult to pick one. We settled on the salted caramel cheesecake, and it was delicious. We only come here for special occasions, as their prices are at the top end of our range.
You can ALWAYS bank on steaks being great and appetizers and desserts as well at Texas Cattle Company!!
We always bring corporate clients from out of town there. They all are impressed!!
A great place to eat, we frequent often and will be back!!
Our waiter last night was Ted and he did a superb job and was in tune of things going on, but wasn’t overly in your face either, Ted knew when to serve and when to check up on our party. Great job Ted!!
Drinks were perfect. Appetizers were delicious. Table rolls outstanding. Salad good. Sides good. Dessert mouthwatering. Steak NOT so much. The highest priced steak was awful. Very unevenly cooked and majority was tough. Even made comment to server about how it was overcooked it was and was told to cut into the center. That is an absolutely stupid statement as I planned to eat the whole steak, not just the center. The server then said it's not how its cooked, it's the flavor! OMG!!!! If Long Horn can cook a steak evenly, I am under the impression these guys should be able to. Sadly disappointed.
Once again our dining experience was excellent. The steaks, a 8oz filet and a aged cowboy porterhouse, were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our waiter, Julian, was informative, very attentive throughout our meal, and spoke highly of the overall staff and management.
Our thanks to the Talk of the Town restaurant group for the gracious gift certificate. We’ll be back next week.
Great place with excellent service and fantastic food. We loved it from drinks to dessert. Emily was our waitress. She answered all questions and treated us like we were special.
Always a great experience. Will go back again. Best part I can now buy their dressing to use at home.
Very delicious high end meat! The salad was delicious. It was my birthday and our waiter took excellent care of us and checked on us often and refilled our drinks. Excellent place for a special occasion or entertaining business clients.
Food is very over priced for the taste. Steak was not very good to be so expensive. Would not go again.
Great place to eat. Always come here for wife's birthday.
Great service and fantastic fillet mignon. The waitress was very
enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the menu options. Value wise I would say the cost is a little pricey, what everything is went up during Covid.
Table was small, food good, server a little to chatty
Last night was the BEST service I’ve ever had there. My server “ RAVEN” was the best. She made me feel VERY important. I will definitely be going there more often.
Love the addition of the steak tips for the birthday dinner. That, and the mushrooms. Lovely birthday dinner!
The servers were arguing among themselves, was not professional.
Food and service was outstanding, as usual!
Their dry-aged steaks are cooked over citrus and oak wood creating a delicious flavor. If you want to try something good and unique, encourage you to go here.
Out waiter Mitch was awesome! Good like always is outstanding
Reserved on line in advance seamlessly. Seated immediately when arrived. Courteous, friendly staff. Both my husband and I had escargot for appetizer, Filet mignon (med rare Pittsburgh) cooked perfectly, shrimp skewer, baked potatoe, broccoli, asparagus, salad. Food was hot, flavorful, and the shrimp skewer was excellent (a definite recommend) The chocolate cake was moist and decadent! The food and staff get 5 out of 5 stars!
Great service and great food. Would definitely go again
They adjusted to the late addition of two extra guest, were prop with service, and served quickly. The food was excellent
The filet mignon was mediocre at best. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Honestly, I have had superb tasting filet at Longhorn. Not excited to return anytime soon.
Service was a little slower than usual, but not the server's fault. Like everyone else, it appeared they were short staffed. Everything else was delicious, as usual!
The staff and food has really changed over the last few months. I will recommend this restaurant as they have the best food quality and service.
The place for steaks BUT bring plenty of money....the cheap steak is $30 and goes up to the mid $50. That said the meal includes a salad and a potato.
We celebrated my mom n law’s bday and enjoyed every moment of it
I enjoyed my birthday at Texas Cattle. Everything was great.
We love to eat here! The salad is amazing and the steaks are always delicious.
We loved our table. Our potatoes needed warmed up. We wished we could get the appetizer mushrooms in a half order.
All in all, pretty good.
Treat yourself to a great steak dinner at Texas Cattle Co!!
We had an amazing dinner! It was my boyfriends first visit and my second. The steak was cooked to perfection! The server was so attentive!
Matt Maciborka provided us a history of the restaurant and their mission. We can’t wait to come back.
good was good, had the pork chop blackened and chicken parm with broccoli. staff seemed busy with table of five as it was 20+ minutes for manager to bring water and waitress didn’t get order correct putting in two pork chops instead of single. the helper that delivered entrees as if we need anything more and we asked for hienz 57 and another salad, he said sure and was never seen again. food was good and server was very nice just very busy which was a contrast to previous visit where annabelle was perfect and we didn’t notice how busy she was. always enjoy the restaurant and will return as normally everything is just right. as always the salad is great.
Amazing! It was my wife’s bday and her first time. The staff was clean professional and so friendly very family oriented. The food quality was phenomenal…
This was for my 50th birthday dinner. They don't mention when you are ordering the bday steak that you are hit with a $20 gratuity charge. So technically it is not a free dinner. Supposedly my free dinner cost me $95. Lets just say I still don't know how it cost $95 for 2 people. Again my was "free" I will not tell anyone to come here. Way to expensive for what you get.
