My husband and I went there for lunch after a concert at the CSO . The food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. I would highly recommend this for a lunch in this downtown area.

Chose Tesori for a business lunch, and visiting on a quiet lunchtime, it was perfect. Greeting, service and recommendations were spot on and friendly. It was a chilly day and we were quite cozy even with window seating. My colleague and I both started with soups that were generous and delicious and then salads, also plentiful with lots of fresh ingredients. There appears to be a patio area for the summer months, and the menu is extensive and well thought out. Perfectly accessible to the CSO, Art Institute and Loop/Michigan Avenue attractions. Would definitely repeat. Thank you Tesori!

We had mixed reviews on the food. Some was very good (the cheese plate, the spaghetti and meatballs, the lasagna), but the shrimp risotto dish and pork ravioli were not well received. The smoked pork ravioli was WAY too smoked, almost nauseating. The food is somewhat inconsistent. But we had great service!

Attentive and savvy waiter. Good ambience. Swordfish entree cooked exactly as ordered (medium)--one of the best restaurant plates I've had in a long time! Focaccia not fresh and soft, as if day-old or cut early in the day and left uncovered :( Margarita pizza was more like "Margaret Pizza" (Americanized)--over-sauced, flaccid bottom crust (too thin?), but great tasting marinara. Tiramisù and Panna Cotta w/pine nut brittle were both excellent, as was the cappuccino.

We went to Tesori for my friend's birthday. It was a wonderful experience. We ordered two appetizers and two dishes for all of us to share; short of tapas style. Each dish was delicious, but my favorite was the Salumi appetizer! Our server really made out experience the best! He was kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend! Thank you!

Tesori was very busy last Friday, there was a nice level of energy in the restaurant. Despite the crowd, we were promptly greeted and served. Some nice seafood additions to their menu and for those who love their pepperoni pizza, they are still terrific.

Standard Chicago loop fare; not bad, not extraordinary. Good for pre-theater/CSO/Auditorium meal. You definitely pay for the location. Great service, good glass of wine, but won't be back.

Tesori is our restaurant of choice when we attend the symphony. Even though the restaurant may be crowded, we receive individual attention and great service. Areena, our server this time, was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we had prompt service.

We had a group of 14 for dinner after a show at 9p. They were ready for us when we arrived. The food and drinks were awesome. We were not rushed. My favorite thing about Tesori is that there is good space between the tables, so even if the restaurant is full, you don’t feel crowded and the noise level never gets too loud.

We arrived right on time for our reservation. We were promptly seated. The restaurant was very busy - people dining before the theatre and before the symphony performance. We sat for 20 minutes, with no service other than our water glasses being filled. The waiter attended to the tables around us - some even got their food while we waited! I went and spoke to the hostess, and requested service - and not from the waiter that had ignored us. We did get service, but it was not pleasant. I would recommend you find another place to dine. Food was fine, but very pricey considering the service.

My father and I needed a place to eat that was close to the Chicago Symphony and Tesori was actually in the CSO building! I had never eaten there before and we were concerned our tight schedule would be an issue for such a busy night, but the wait staff was impeccable. I've honestly never had such quick, delicious food in my life. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would absolutely recommend everyone to eat here, at least once!

Tesori is so convenient for events at Symphony Center - Can't beat the location. Food is average; service is consistently good. And this restaurant tends to be a good value.

Our food was up to Tesori's usual standards. Our server was very helpful and personable. We were unrushed as we enjoyed our meal before the jazz concert. All together a fine experience.

Our waiter seemed distracted and it took a very long time for our order to arrive, so much so that we asked about it three times. The good news is that management paid for all three dinners, was very apologetic, and even encouraged us to have desert and another drink on the house. I have never been treated as well and the food was outstanding.

The server Karen was very nice and good. The food and wine was very good BUT the kitchen was extremely slow with everyone's food. Many people were becoming irritable and I'm sure one in particular ruined their evening. The restaurant and bar was not very full. In fact it was more empty than usual.

Since this restaurant became Tesori, it's just become forgettable. There's just nothing about this restaurant that becomes memorable. It's just average all the way around, and the food is nothing special. There are better choices for fine dining. It's too bad, because Symphony Center is such a good spot for a good restaurant. It's not bad, it is just mediocre and overpriced for what you get. I'd go elsewhere.

The gnocchi we ordered was excellent, and the portions appropriate for dinner. The service could not have been better. I have only one criticism; the restrooms are not in the restaurant itself; you have to leave and go down down two short hallways to get to them.

Tesori always comes to mind when I am attending a Symphony Center concert. The staff are very tuned in to the concert timings, so service is attentive. I like that bread - an interesting rosemary country bread - and olive oil are served as soon as you are seated. There are a variety of selections from entre salads to fish, pasta and meats. My friend had the risotto with mushrooms. I had the lasagna bolognese. Both were good.

The cincher is location, location, location.
