Amazing service & even better food! Perfect from start to finish.
Incredible food, ambiance and service. What more could you ask?
Recommendations on Trip Advisor over rated. Limited menu, and weak flavors. For Mediterranean, had very few options that reflect this cuisine. So many other good options in SF. Would not return.
Food was EXCELLENT!!!
Service was EXCELLENT!!!
Sit in the "back room", airconditioned
Bring your wallet
Disappointing. Food was fine, but nothing really popped flavor-wise. We ordered the beet salad, crispy polenta, panzanella, and meatballs. All Small Plates and proportionally well sized dishes. Beet salad was meh. Polenta was bland and sauce with it too salty. Panzanella had a few breadcrumbs instead of the typical bread salad that it's name implies. Meatball dish was tasty. Chocolate tart was nothing great - too much caramel sauce on it. Server had a definite personality but never came to check on us and was a bit too curt with some of his responses.
Do not recommend eating here though I could see coming in for a nice glass of wine. It's a nice space and our wine was good.
We had a delightful time and a very tasty dinner. We will definitely return!
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and were not disappointed! Every dish was delicious, from tender and flavorful meat balls on the bed of polenta to amazing grilled squid with caviar lentils. We also shared Moroccan chicken and it was superb. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Her recommendations were spot on! Great experience overall! Will come again...
Hidden gem, food was very good and a nice quiet ambience. Took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it!
We had a late reservation and had to wait quite a while to be seated and we're then felt rushed through our meal. I prefer to relax between courses. The service was otherwise excellent. The food was very tasty but over priced in my opinion for what we got. We're not from the San Francisco area so it may not have been that out of the ordinary. We are not from the San Francisco area so only had 2 other restaurants to compare it to while we visited but for quality of food and service I would say this was the best.
My second time at Terzo and it was outstanding. Everything about it was excellent from the service to the food and atmosphere.
As usual. A GEM. Foods great. Service phenomenal. Vibe wonderful. And if you've got hearing issues they'll gladly seat you in back room where it's quiet
The food came out sporadically like the kitchen only made one item at a time for everyone in the restaurant then moved on to the next item.
The food was average. The food and beverage prices are toooooo high for what you get. If you can believe this; It was my Birthday "special occasion" and they charged me $12.00 for a miniature slice of cake "and are you ready for this" a dollar for the candle on the cake "sick". Would not go back. Better places to go in SF. Very limited menu!!!
My co-workers and I were very pleased with Terzo.
As a newbie to SF and not yet having the chance to explore many restaurants, I was nervous when my manager asked me to coordinate a team dinner. The only guidelines she gave me were budget and to "avoid the Embarcadero area".
We ordered several small plates and a few large plates to pass around between the 6 of us. We were not disappointed by anything! If you are a first-timer, be sure to order the hummus or the meatballs. Nice beer & wine selection as well.
Additionally, the staff was very accommodating to our party. We had to change our party size at the last minute, but they did not give us a hard time about the adjustment.
This was our second time to Terzo and if possible it was even better. Our server Nicole advised us on our sucession of small plates and then matched it perfectly with a bottle of French white burgundy. The peach roasted brushetta and the cilantro chicken skewers were out of this world. I hardly ever treat myself to panna cotta but I am sure glad i did here. Exquisite! The ambiance at 6:30 was wonderfully calm yet you could tell every table was thoroughly enjoying their experience. Would come again n a heartbeat.
Outstanding skirt steak and oork chops! Fantastic wine too (Banshee Cab)
TErzo has wonderful food ..fresh inventive fun delicious and surprising ...There are many Italian restaurants but to have a unique one with California fresh spectrums and amazing pasta amazing meat and fish and salads is rare,, I think this is one of the best restaurants in San Francisco!
Food was average. Very good but I had higher expectations.
Great pasta and entrees, service was friendly while professional - highly recommended
Terzo has both individual tables and communal tables. You may request a private table and they do their best to accommodate. We had a nice table in a room with three other tables so we were out of the main hustle bustle which was perfect as we were 3 friends getting together to catch up. Our waiter was professional, attentive but not overbearing. He was great at providing recommendations, and keeping an eye on our wine glasses. The food was great. The panzanella had the best tomatoes ever!
As a patron for 10 years, Iam always delighted by the food and service. Somehow, the always amange to deliver. Not many places can say this.
I've eaten here many times, and every time I"m in the back room/ back table the service is pretty awful. I love the vibe here, the food, and have recommended this restaurant to sooo many people. And I would say, don't sit in the back room if possible. Or to Terzo to improve their service in the back
The service was very attentive and friendly. The small plates were especially tasty i.e. the meat balls, egg plant, and humus. The flank steak and the fusilli were very special .
I look forward to my next visit. The food is yummy and the was wonderful .
Great place for small plates. Food excellent, service to match. Extensive wine list. Not a tapas place, emphasis on small plate Mediterranean food rather than exclusively Spanish tapas.
Very nice dinner. Great late night spot. Romantic too.
Great neighborhood restaurant! We came up from the Peninsula and we'll definitely make the drive again. The food was delicious. We shared several small plates and two large plates among the five of us. Our server was very knowledgeable as well.
Food was great but our waiter was very absent. The table crew were way more attentive. 2nd time there but 1st was better all the way around.
This place has been excellent in the past, and this occasion was no exception. Mostly organic. Creative cuisine without being over the top. Menu changes frequently. Staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Ate here once before and seem to recall better service and food. Would not come back as so many other options in sf
Great food, great knowledgeable service. We'd definitely come again.
Highly recommend the pork meatballs with Polenta and tomato sauce. It was worth the drive from San Jose. We will return
A vibrant neighborhood restaurant with great tapas and wine. We'll definitely return.
Such good food and impeccable service. It's a gem.
Ingredients top notch. Food too saucy no reason to add so much. Took away from taste and enjoyment of dishes Not sure why but restaurant has lots of seating but they stacked up dinners in 2x3 adjoining tables. The maitre de figures it out and quickly corrected. Will return but be more specific on requests for sauces 👌
Food and service were perfect! Will return just for the gnocchi :)
Our experience was not a good one. We were seated next to a table of about 12 girls celebrating a birthday - and they were very, very loud. When we asked to be moved to another table the hostess was not accommodating, so after some verbal altercations & unsuccessful attempts to allay the situation between the two tables, we left the restaurant. Upon our departure, our server was very nice and understanding. Unfortunately, the hostess was not at all, and the bartender chimed in with his comments (he should have minded his own business)! We were very disappointed that we were unable to try the cuisine. Someday, we may return. BTW - we have a very pleasant dining experience across the street at Rose's - which happens to be one of our go-to restaurants on Union Street.
We were put in a windowless back room that was noisy as hell. The food was unremarkable. And the restaurant is expensive. Why would I ever go back?
I saw an episode of "Check Please" which featured Terzo and it sold me. My wife and I decided to go that night and it did not disappoint. Everything was either good or great, the service was fantastic and we will definitely be back to try items on the menu we didn't get to this time. Highly recommend Terzo!
We shared many delicious small dishes with friends and then shared a main course. Very wonderful evening
