Server Claudio was wonderful. Spectacularly loud venue, distracting enough to make conversation and enjoyment of food difficult
Food was very good and all ingredients fresh. One in our party found their dish a little salty. Waiter was attentive and food was timely served , well presented, and tasty. A regular go to restaurant on our list.
Great as usual.
This restaurant has an excellent contemporary vibe to it even though the food is seeped in tradition. Noise levels can be a bit much but I guess that's the norm these days. Overall had a spectacular time here!
Always love Terroni. Loved where we sat in the back room. Loved our server.
Never a disappointment coming to this Terroni location!
Great atmosphere and service, perfect for a girls night out!
Our table was horrible, back of the restaurant in a corner, not much room. Very loud in the restaurant itself and felt like our waiter was rushing us out all nite. Been to the one on adelaide, enjoyed it much better.
Very average experience - especially for a birthday
Server is friendly and polite. Everyone did enjoy the lunch. Food is great. Would definitely go back again
The food is consistently wonderful and service great, I remember a time when I could enjoy the energy of the place and not have to shout to be heard. I don't know if thats just Friday night but I would like to enjoy a great Terroni meal without feeling like I'm at a bar. We left without ordering dessert or coffee because the bass thumping music was simply too loud and stressful. Just a few decibels too high and we are not old and pretty hip :)
Everything is is moderate. Too many other great places in TO to ever bother with this place AGAIN!
The food standard at this location were always high. We also love to dine here.
Keep up the good job.
The food was great however, I asked for a nicer table as it was a birthday dinner and I didn’t get that, and the service was not the greatest.
Food was good and service was wonderful
Great place for an authentic, homemade Italian lunch/dinner.
I find their white wine selection by the glass is not great.
Had a business lunch. Reservation handled perfectly by internet. Service extraordinary, food excellent. Had a table next to window facing Yonge Street, but no intrusive noise from the street or from within the dining area.
Delicious pizza, always I just hate that they will not accommodate any topping requests which makes the experience just beneath perfect.
We were there to celebrate a birthday and were happy overall. The food is always great and recognizing that it was a Saturday night and a happening spot, service was a tad slow but perfectly satisfactory due to seating volume.
Love the place. Great service, great food. Great atmosphere.
Wat too expensive- $35 for a very plain tasting small portion of sea bass. Typically I don’t need to season or flavour sea bass in restaurants. This one needed salt , pepper and lemon ( which I had to ask for)
Yes definitely! Enjoyed or evening. Great service, prompt and friendly.
I am a regular patron of Terroni as it’s a favourite amongst my family and friends. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu!
I gotta say last night's dining experience was awful! Not only was the restaurant crazy loud (which can't be helped when you are busy) the wait-staff was extremely pushy. I arrived 15 minutes after the rest of my party cause I couldn't find parking and was bluntly asked if I wanted a menu. Our waiter brought me a menu and loomed over me, with a hurry up and decide kind of demeanor. He then realizes and says in a rude voice that he'll come back. The food came out quickly, which was good but then we weren't even finished eating and one of the servers/busboys started clearing everyone's plates. I hadn't even finished my dinner (I'm not a slow eater either) and he was reaching directly over my plate as I was eating to clear my colleagues plates, so much so that I had to sit back to give him space! It's common etiquette to wait till all people are finished eating to start clearing plates, let alone reaching right across someone while they are taking a forkful of their dinner. I asked him jokingly if the restaurant was running low on plates... he clearly didn't understand what I was saying. But it was ridiculous... I felt like we were in a Saturday Night Live skit. We all got the feeling we were being rushed out. When I made the reservation I stated that it was for a business meeting. Clearly we weren't having a quick bite... but it ended up that way!
I was not at all impressed. I've been here a number of times but never again will I book for a reservation of this sort. I'll stick to lunches and summer on the patio, if I come back.
Great date night ! would definitely come back more frequently
Terroni was very busy tonight. Food was very good as usual although one of the pasta dishes was undercooked.
Loved the food we ordered!!! Great service as well
We had a wonderful meal for our anniversary, the pizza was thin and crisp and the pastas were cooked to perfection. The calamari was so fresh and tasty. We look forward to returning soon.
Wine was good but the food, service and value were all below average - definitely lost their edge, not worth a return visit.
Great👍the food was great - service was great- had wo much fun👌
Great setting & service. Food was wonderful. Pricey but a great night out for a special occasion.
Delicious food in buzzy ambiance
Always our favourite!!
Great food and would highly recommend
The food is good - don’t even think of asking for balsamic vinegar or butter as it is only serve bread and olive oil but then we had to ask for plates for the bread. Food came all at once and the server was very hands off.
Other than the above its a good place to go and you will see lots of people you know from the neighbourhood.
Outstanding service and great food. Never rushed and always welcomed from the front door to the kitchen
Our waiter was rude at the beginning. I'm assuming he was annoyed that we hadn't decided what we wanted but we were a table of 8 and it can take time. Further, he didn't share with us what the "soup of the day" or "pasta of the day". The only reason we found out was when we saw them hidden on a sheet inside the menu and ended up inquiring. Midway through ordering one of the guests hadn't decided what they wanted so he said he needed to attend to another table and left abruptly nowhere to be seen. Our food took quite awhile to come and when it did our pasta dishes were cold. When we said so, he responded saying that this was impossible as they had just come out of the pan. Odd considering the 5 out 5 people with pasta all had the same issue.
Great Italian food, consistently served, however the arrogance associated with the restaurant is a bit much - dont ask for any small changes or additions to your meal. I made the mistake of asking for some balsamic vinegar for a dip (bread, calamari) and was told "sorry but no" by the waiter; the chef would not give it to me ("they didn't have it in the kitchen as it wasn't consistent with the southern style cooking in Italy" was what I was told) - which was a flat out lie because it was used in the Funghi Assoluti salad I ordered. I get authentic cooking, but come on, get over yourselves. That said, they do have the best pizza I've tried in Toronto so I applaud them on that.
Tuesday and It was very busy! Good place for a date night!
