Our server clearly wasn't impressed to be serving a table of two as there was a clear difference in service level and professionalism when he interacted with the table of eight just to the right of us.
Portions were much smaller than pre-COVID but still delicious!
All around great! Our server was lovely, the food was delicious and the ambiance was good. Such a perfect spot for a Sunday night dinner. Thank you!
Great Food and Service. Drinks were exceptionally made.
This was a ridiculous experience. We were referred to you by someone we know. We have been in some of the finest Italian restaurants around the world including Italy, New York Manhattan, Toronto, etc., never have I walked into an Italian restaurant and been told that I cannot get a piece of veal, a piece of chicken, extra tomato sauce, bruschetta, a diet soft drink, or to be able to make a change in vegetables.
Lovely service, professional greeting at the door. Appreciated the elevators for our elderly parents and clean washrooms. Very nice indeed. I mean us. But sadly, we will not be going back again because it’s not our type of restaurant. We would never have attended had I known. And for the record, very difficult to find and locate on the web. There are so many restaurants with different addresses with the same name. If I didn’t know which street this one was on, I would never have known. An update of their website would probably be suitable at this time.
Oh, and just to add another comical relief, you cannot get balsamic vinegar in this particular Italian restaurant. This was certainly a first for all of us.
Missed Terroni so much over the last year. Wonderful to be back... great food, great service and great ambience.
Our server was attentive and helpful ! We had a great time last evening !
Good menus, short and somewhat seasonal, you will find some staples, no surprises which is nice. They may be.a bit pricey but that’s what we are seeing now. Good location, knowledgeable staff, service is fairly prompt.
Dinner before a game, exceptional service and delicious options!
Nothing special. Service was slow and not friendly. Food was okay not amazing. Ordered burratta, fungi ans sausage pizza and sausage pasta
We went for lunch and as always everything was great!! Heather our server was wonderful and as always the calamari is a must:) Sonia the burrata xo
Great evening on the patio, food and service was excellent , Gint was on point!!
Everything was great, and the rooftop patio was spectacular. My only complaint is the portion size was pretty small. Otherwise, everything was phenomenal and I will definitely be back. Maybe I’ll just have to order an app to fill me up better.
My husband and I went to the Summerhill location for our Anniversary lunch. We have been regulars at the Queen St location for over a decade and it was always one of our favourite restaurants. The food at the Summerhill location was just as delicious and the ambience was amazing. Will definitely go back to sit out on the rooftop patio!
Negroni was well done. Our Server was consistently making sure we received our food promptly. (Funghi app + Papperdelle main). Cappuccino was also well enjoyed!
Extraordinary, as usual! The best Terroni in town!
I had been to the Adelaide location last week and found overall the food was much better quality and service was much more attentive and friendly. I had ordered the same pasta dish at both locations and my pasta at Price was raw. I had my table try it and all told me to send it back so I did. The waitress said it was meant to be al dente and I said I understood but this was raw and she eventually took it back. When they brought out a new plate it was pretty much the same but slightly more edible so I ate it.
Nice ambience that unfortunately does not make up for the shockingly bland food. I can think of several other Italian restaurants in the area that are infinitely better (and authentic). An absolute mystery why this place has the reputation it does. Huge letdown.
Had a late lunch with a friend on the patio.
Everything went smoothly and food was delicious.
We had the pushest most obnoxious server I think I've ever experienced in a restaurant. Bottle of wine came after the food. They served our appetizers with the main...he didn't even ask us... He said he would offer dessert but too late kitchen closed too bad for us. When I was trying to chose the bottle of wine, I said a particular white and he said it was terrible and not good at all... meanwhile little did he know I drink that wine often and was happy to order it. He was basically criticizing my wine that I was trying to order 😂 I understand they were closing down but what a way to put a terrible taste in our mouths. If you want to rush the service, then you shouldn't have even taken our reservation!! It was rediculous!! Our food was cold because we were brought the cold dishes with the pasta, so by the time we ate the pasta it was frozen. Just everything overall was so disappointing and I've been to this restaurant many times before.. For the 200$ meal that we had we were treated terribly and the food was cold and rushed out. Not very happy at all of my experience last night.
Back in Canada after 10 years away and this was the first restaurant I booked. Terroni is still the best they never disappoint.
Mediocre. But wonderful sommelier and wine list.
Poor service… got food before drinks…. Didn’t get to order any more drinks….. food was cold by the time we got the add ons (pepper and oil)…. And didn’t even acknowledge it was a birthday which I know dampened the night. Pretty unimpressed
Hi Emma, thank you for the 4 stars on our food. Please have patience as we are still very much in a pandemic and we are not back to normal with staff shortages. We hope to see you again in the future.
Coffee and pizzas were luke warm
Server was excellent
Food was only adequate
Thank you for commenting that your server was excellent. Our servers do regular service checks with guests and would have been happy to correct this for you. A manager is also always on duty to assist guests with immediate needs or concerns and who can always turn around any given situation to avoid you leaving this way. We hope to you see you return again in future.
Hate the fact that they don’t have any condiments or dips for their calamari
Hate that modifying things ever so slightly on their menu is the biggest pain.
It’s a restaurant- modifications should be so easy to do in a kitchen. Also it’s the hospitality industry- be MORE HOSPITABLE!!
Dessert and cappuccino were great. Ordered the tiramisu. Soooo good!
Hi there, we have always been very transparent with our no modification menu. We apologize if this information was not properly delivered to you. We go through great lengths to source the best quality ingredients and offer a traditional Italian menu where we want to preserve the integrity of our dishes. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to experience what majority of our guests do.
Quality of food has decreased
I loved the patio. Food and wine were amazing. Super friendly staff.
Had the best time with friends at Terroni this past weekend! Food was absolutely delicious and the weather was perfect for patio seating.
Rooftop patio was very nice. So many pasta & pizza choices.
The food was amazing. The service wasn’t too bad. I did order the Branzino fish and the presentation was just so basic for the price. I have ordered this before in order restaurant and the presentation is on point. For the price this needs a bit of work.
Service was extremely slow. Hours. Completely disassyified with servers attentiveness.
Loved the roof top patio. Service was great and food was delicious. Will book again in the future
The pesto oil in my pasta dish was a little too much otherwise tasty. My wife had the special- cavatelli pasta with the fungi very good!
The patio was amazing with a great view, and everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. The servers were very fast and polite, food came quick as well. Only possible issue was that the pasta I received was a small bit undercooked but still tasted phenomenal. Everything else, including the many options on the menu, was perfect
Sunda funday and we weren’t let down
Food and service was exceptional as always
Took my parents here for brunch last weekend. We ordered an appetizer platter, fried oyster mushrooms, and 2 pizzas to share. They absolutely refused to cut the pizzas for sharing. All the tables around us had bread but we didn't receive a bread basket. It seemed like the combinations of pizzas kept reusing ingredients and I feel like joints like Pizza Libretto and Salt and Tobacco have more incentive combinations. For the area, the $24 cheese plate with prosciutto and Genoa salami and a few hunks of brie and oka cheese could have been picked and assembled from the Longos at Yonge and Bloor. Extremely unremarkable.
Great service and they handled the first day of quarantine rules beautifully.
Service is always efficient and warm. Everything we ordered was delicious, as usual.
