Terroni - LA
Our menu is filled with regional Italian dishes that have been prepared the same way for generations. So out of respect for Italian gastronomy—and our grandparents—we don’t modify our dishes. Enjoy!

Nice quality Italian food. Very good wine list both by the glass and by the bottle. Knowledgeable server.
Great food, beets salad is big and good, seafood pasta was great and the pizza was amazing. Server was whatever, venue is nice though.
Our service was excellent, the food was great but this place is really load. Our table for two was so close to the parties next to us that we could hear every word of their conversations and they could, of course, hear ours. The menu is all in Italian (including the wine list) with little translation so you are on your own. 🤷♂️ Fortunately, our waiter was a big help. Not your place for quiet intimacy, but, once you figure everything out, it’s pretty good.
This is our go to Italian spot. Everything is amazing. Great cocktails, excellent food and beautiful space
This place is never disappointing.
Everyone was absolutely pleasant. It was a great experience.
Got my pre graduation dinner here with my family. Loved everything we ordered. Restaurant was very loud, made conversing slightly difficult. The “hi I am Sam Bianca” pizza is truly one of a kind. Also loved the duck prosciutto and Burrata small plate.
This was my first time dining at Terroni and I will definitely return for the grilled branzino. The fish, cooked and seasoned to perfection, was served with a generous serving of tasty vegetables
The interior is beautiful but very noisy. We all shared our dishes. The grilled sea bass was superb. The salad special was regrettable (a large pile of butter lettuce leaves with vinaigrette) The pasta specials: oxtail ragout we gave a B. The asparagus & mushroom, an A.
Too noisy, food correct, nothing more. Stuff correct, nothing more. One restarant which could not remember for year or two.
Terroni is one of my favourite places. Food was amazing as always and our helper Nithi was kind and helpful. Our friends had a great experience too. Thank you
Must have caught Moira at the end of her shift.. she was crankizzle my sizzle 😏
Just very average - a good place for a dinner where everyone can't agree or you have bland eaters in your group. Pizzas are pretty good. Cocktails are meh.
Excellent pizza and service. Terrific home-baked bread. The fish dish could have included more fish; otherwise, an excellent experience.
We went to Terroni before a show (Rosalía) at the Mayan Theater which is nearby. Terroni is in a great downtown location and even has a convenient parking lot across the street. The place is a beautifully redone 1920’s style bank building. We had a great table with a street view. Most seats look good. Our server Yazmin was incredible: she made the experience an even better one with her knowledge of the menu, preparation, etc. she gave us great recommendations. All ingredients from the San Danielle prosciutto to the endive we’re super high quality, each dish was perfect in taste and plating. Try the Budino for dessert-amazing! This is one of our new favorites!!
We had an early booking so the restaurant was pleasantly quiet. Food was delicious and they made an insanely GREAT capuccino for my fiancee. The pasta was a little undercooked but I think that was on purpose, and it still tasted delicious. They had fresh burratta and fresh basil on my dish, which both tasted really nice. Our server was kind, informative on the menu items, and the back servers promptly attended to us by clearing our dishes and filling our waters. The space is nicely decorated with tall ceilings and has a really neat upstairs bathroom situation that overlooks a street of DTLA. Might not be handicap accessible though. Really lovely experience. It was a great date night spot!
We were greeted by a friendly hostess and an active bar area. Our table was comfortable and the waiter was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. Zucchini flowers and a lemon/parmesan pasta to start followed by a pizza and sausage pizza...absolutely incredible food. It was a lively environment and I can see how it could be a little too noisy for some people. We’ll definitely be back again.
The people next to us were so loud I couldn’t talk to my date. And what was annoying was that the whole place had so many more opens seats, but the restaurant decided to cramp us together.
A couple of suggestions--black napkins as I ended up with lint all over me. Pre-cut the pizza. Having to struggle with cutting the pizza took the fun out of eating it. It is not easy to do with the knife provided. Also, serve two forks. We were given our salad fork back on the table top to use with main meal. Unsanitary!
Amazing food, very loud environment for a date night on a Saturday evening.
The food is wonderful, but the ambiance is not very nice and the noise level is awful.
Ambiance and food were wonderful. The only complaint we had was that the waiter made it clear we could not alter any of the dishes on the menu. We couldn’t even add garlic to a dish! I couldn’t add a vegetable to my pizza! If the chef becomes more accommodating then I would give this restaurant 5 stars across the board!
Always terrific! A neighborhood gem! Staff terrific!
Fantastic date night. The wine somm, Christian, brought us the perfect wine for what we wanted. We don’t know Italian wines so it was great to have an expert at the table. Waitress was kind helpful and knew the menu well. I wish I could remember her name...long hair and lovely. Very wheelchair accessible in the dining room and bathroom. Food was fab. Very decent pisco sours to start. We’ll be back.
Food is amazing and the ambience fun vibe. Our server was amazing!!! The bartender was great too.
We enjoyed the entire experience. The food was excellent, the service was professional and the place was perfect for an after work decompression.
Everything we ordered was great!
For a bite before the Theatre. Not a place for a Long relaxing dinner
Food and service were excellent. The music was extremely loud and the restaurant was crowded- this combination rendered all of us unable to hear each other!
What a delicious meal w out two young kids. We were treated with dignity and respect. Thank you.
Overpriced and pizza not good enough, not really Italian (I am from Italy)
Great food, beautiful restaurant
It's close to the LATC. Was not impressed by the food and bread (which you have to pay $1/slice) but it was fast and we made it to the play on time.
We were in town for the Los Angeles Marathon and the restaurant was close to our hotel(the Baltimore)...just a short walk. Everything was LOVELY and the food DELICIOUS.. PERFECTLY relaxing and great place for a healthy pre-marathon carbon load. Good job !
It was good, but I remember it being better when I dined 2 years ago. It was extremely warm in the restaurant (like uncomfortably hot), and it was very very loud. So loud, it was hard to talk to my friend.
Enjoyed the food. Very good. A bit too loud for my taste but a nice experience with fantastic wine list.
We’ve come here several times and they are very consistent. Great bar, great food, great service. We’ll definitely be back again.
Good spot for informal lunch or dinner. Nice bar with good selection.
My friend ordered pasta with seafood and wanted some Parmesan cheese on it and it is the policy of the
restaurant to not put it on this dish. Now, I guess that is OK, but this is the US, not Italy, and people
like their cheese. The waitress was very snide about it as well.
