Terroni - Beverly
My absolute favorite dish is the lamb ragu capunti. The octopus appetizer was a special, and a favorite at our table. We had excellent service, the waiter was professional. The sommelier was excellent and helped us pick a delicious wine.
Terroni is one of our must stop restaurants while visiting LA.
Great comfort Italian food
We really like this place. Food is always delicious and the menu changes which is great. Always trying new dishes. Wish they would over just plain pizza crust with olive oil as a bread option. It seems so easy but yet they won’t do it. The menu is the menu.
Love Terroni on Beverly. This location is much better than the downtown Terroni. Great pasta, good service and fun atmosphere. It's pretty loud, but typical of most restaurants in LA.
Slow service but good food
Fantastic again!!! This place is always on point. Great fresh food. The main dishes are always changing so you get something different every time. Pizzas and apps stay the same though. Had great spicy Raghu with black truffles super yummy and white fish filet steamed in a paper wrapping. Flavors were big and bold. Very good.
Absolutely fantastic and delicious
Took my team for a lunch and it was great. Server was very nice, food was delicious, and place was nice as well. It was a great experience.
As usual pasta was good. They could broaden their happy hour offerings a little.
gorgeous food and wine, impeccable service, lots of space and cute aesthetic. one of my favorite spots in the whole city 💗
The service was beyond slow. Expect to wait 30-40 minutes from after you order your drink to receive.
So it’s hard to actually review this visit to Terroni. When arriving for our reservation a girl at the front asked how we are doing. We both said we are doing great and the proceeded to let her know we have a reservation for 2. Assuming she was the host since being the only one standing at the front she said with a very annoyed voice, oh I don’t help with that someone else will help you.” So we waited until the next girl came up and she sat us with menus. After having 3 separate servers see us and walk past us, we decided to just get up and sit at the bar. If it was my first time there I would never go back!
After sitting at the bar I went to inform the host that we moved since no server came to us in the 10 minutes that we were sitting at the table. Instead of apologising for a lack of service she just said okay cool, and went back to reading her book.
Luckily, the bartender (male gentleman) was VERY kind, VERY attentive and made our dinner a nicer experience. After working a long day, one doesn’t want to go to a restaurant and be treated with a lack of service or rude service. So I am glad that we got up and went to the bar because he was so attentive.
The service is amazing. The food was decent. I had truffle pasta- it was eh. Bolognese was really good.
Always great! Consistently excellent for years. I never feel like I’m gambling with my money here. It’s always solid, every time. We’ll be back soon!
I was really disappointed overall. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. When making the reservation I mentioned it. The waitress was nice but she rushed us through the meal and was fairly robotic just doing what she needed to do in order to get us out and turn the table.
I ordered the seafood pasta. After taking a few bites I decided I wanted to light sprinkle of Parmesan and was told no. I asked why and was told they will not allow Parmesan on pasta dishes with seafood. HUH??? I should be able to do as I please to my dinner dish That I’m paying for.
After dinner there was not even a mention of us celebrating our anniversary by our waitress or anyone else.
It’s ok... next year we will celebrate somewhere else and we certainly will make sure we’re aloud to have Parmesan if we so choose.
I've eaten at this restaurant for years, and it's always been great. This time, the most disfunctional meal I've ever had. It seems the whole wait staff has been hired from Starbucks, and they all have that attitude. I guess when Terroni figures out how to get rid of the pesky customers they'll have a great business model. Millennial heaven. I just have to scratch my head... food usually good though.
Myself and two other friends go there about once a month. The food was good, the sommelier is always outstanding however our table was horrible. We were stuffed into the back corner near the hot sauce shelves where my chair continued to get bumped repeatedly and there was a large party next to us and my sweater got caught on someone’s handbag zipper because we were so close to them which damaged the sweater slightly. I worked in restaurants for along time years ago and don’t like to complain in person but this visit was not my favorite.
Thank you for reaching out and asking~
Best

PRO: Food is outstanding and worth a visit
BUT...........
CON: This is another example of an LA restaurant that believes we as diners are privileged to eat in their establishment so the service has become very passive and almost an afterthought in recent years.
Always fantastic pasta dishes however the sun dried tomato pizza was nasty. Huge cold tough tomatoes. Perhaps they should be minced to make them palatable.
Although the food is always good here, the noise level is so loud one can barely hear the person sitting next to you. Wish they had more outside seating.
Terroni is a ripoff. I was charged without being asked %3.5 for paying to the kitchen staff!!!!??? Seriously????
National pasta day
The food and ambiance was very good. This is an authentic Italian restaurant with fairly simple dishes but well cooked. Unfortunately, an episode early in the evening ruined the dinner. My daughter and I had chosen this restaurant specifically because they have gluten free options and my daughter is gluten intolerant. She was looking forward to having the spaghetti al limone with gluten free pasta. After we ordered it, the waitress informed us that that dish was not available with gluten free pasta because they only had gluten free penne and not spaghetti. Naturally i asked to just make the same sauce and put it on top of the penne but the answer was that the chef “does not allow substitutions of any kind”. The answer did not change after speaking to the manager.
While I understand the rule of no substitutions (though sometimes I find it pretentious and arrogant), in this case it truly did not make sense. We weren’t asking to change the ingredients, but simply to make the same dish with the only gluten free pasta they had. This inflexibility and arrogance and lack of customer service tainted the whole experience, and I will not be returning to this restaurant because of it. A shame really...
Very good home made Pastas.
we had a good vegetable salad and Panacota
I love this place!!! Food is amazing
5 of us came for my wife's 47th birthday. Ordered apps and drinks and everything came fine, and tasted fine. The noise level was very difficult and it was hard to hear across the table.
Wife ordered the fish, I ordered the steak, and rest of the party ordered pasta and pizza. Wife's fish came a full 10 mins after others were served and they waited. My steak, ordered MR, came extra rare - seared but cold red in the center. One of our party is a noted chef and she insisted I send it back for just a few more minutes- It came back 20 mins later after everyone else had finished. Steak cost $66.
Server didn't manage meals well, kitchen was disorganized, and noise level was untenable. Total bill with tip for 5 was $435. There are simply so many other places that offer much greater value and a far more positive dining experience. We will not be back.
Terroni’s is a must every time we are in LA!
Extremely noisy, tables for two too small, can fit maybe one dish and a glass, not comfortably located, your elbow can get easily inside neighbor's eye trying to cut your 95$ steak . Mostly food under average pasta over cooked, clumpy over soggy nothing special sauces as presented on menu.
great food, great atmosphere. only complaint - very loud!
Anniversary
Was not impressed with the service. I felt rushed out of the place. Also super expensive and you are sitting right on top of the person next to you practically.
Love it here! Gorgeous food, friendly service, great room... fun!
It’s a little louder than what’s ideal, but holy mother of god does this place always deliver an A++++ meal. I’ve been going for years and never have I ever had anything short of an incredible meal.
Dollar for dollar the best Italian in the city. Outstanding pizza and pasta. Casual and with a vibrant young scene Only drawback is a fairly high priced wine list.
Server definitely didnt care to take care of us. She did the bare minimum and made us feel like we were actually bothering her. Definitely not the experience I expected to have here.
Thank you for a great dinner
Love this place - it's as beautiful as the food is tasty. They also have a great happy hour!
santa stefano pizza was as fresh as possible. high quality prosciutto and crackling thin crust.
Jackie was amazing!!!!
They have a ridiculous rule if you order sea bass with their pasta they will not give you Parmesan cheese with it. Even if you offer to pay extra for it. I do not enjoy pasta unless I have Parmesan cheese on it. They said it does not go with sea bass and pasta. Who are they to tell me what goes with what. If the customer wants Parmesan cheese they should get it. Especially for what you are paying for each dish. No bread on the table either. Meal was good but I would not recommend or go back to that restaurant ever. Very bad customer service!!
Great...as always. TY Terroni!
