   The food has the right ingredients, but they are not assembled by someone who knows how to make things delicious. Flat iron steak is recommended. Salads are piles of salad mix with a few decorations. Get a taste of a wine first; we got some that was pretty oxidized.

   The restaurant was amazing. The view was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the drinks were divine and the service was excellent. What an out-of-the-way gem. We came for a business lunch and I will definitely bring doing all of my future business lunches there.

   Beautiful location. We eat there a lot because it’s beside the river and wonderful I. Good weather. There’s a very large covered patio area. Good options for vegetarians and a nice cocktail menu. Service was good, as always. We think it would be good to change the menu up more frequently. Or have several specials.

   We went for our 24th anniversary and we’re grateful to get a reservation on short notice as we were scheduled to be out of town. We would have liked to dine outdoors but it was too cold - even though they did have a fire. We dined indoors but the lighting like dining in a surgery room - very odd. The food was delicious and the service was good.

    The food was very good, but disappointed that there was no salad, no vegetable, just the entree. The Cosmos cocktail was too syrupy, disappointing for sure. The margarita was fine. It was a very hot night but we were seated outside and surprisingly it was very comfortable. The breeze off the river was nice and the view of the river was lovely. All in all, it was a pleasant enough experience but I think they could make some corrections in the menu and food overall that would be an improvement.

    Advertised as a Farm to Table restaurant, they fall a bit short on delivering that experience. The menu is heavy on simple and expected dishes with a light choice of entrees. I did not see any dishes that truly highlighted the local growers products and noticed a lot of use of ingredients like button mushrooms, for example. That being said, the food was very good and properly prepared. The atmosphere is beautiful, right above the river. Kudos to the wine list focusing on Northwest wines. Would certainly eat there again.

    We loved our experience here. The setting is just beautiful. My husband got the chicken marsala, and I got the Baja fish tacos. They were both delicious. I also love the indoor-outdoor feel of the place. We will definitely return.

    A gem ! Wonderful spot to eat overlooking the river. Had fish/chips and cobb salad for lunch. Both were very good. Kudos to Luke our server. Attentive and friendly. Lovely area. Nice work city of Independence on making this entire area a must stop. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the Corvallis area.

    Our server Chance was very friendly and attentive !! The Au jus for my French dip was very highly salty and coffee needed to be a lot warmer. They have nice menu and good prices! Very clean and nice place! Had awesome music playing in background. Go check it out! We will be going back for sure! 👍🏼

    Our local restaurant. We go there a lot, and the outside seating is fab. We usually take our friends and love the ambience of sitting on the river. Food is variable. Time to change the menu, though. Maybe ditch some of the heavy in time for summer or have a different lunch and dinner menu.

    Food was prepared perfectly. Presentation was very good. We ate in the atrium----there was no propane for the heaters so it was a bit chilly but the view was amazing! In all, a very pleasant experience for my wife's birthday dinner.

    This was our second trip to Territory - we went maybe three years ago when it first opened and were underwhelmed but chocked it up to new restaurant syndrome. On the basis of our second visit, Feb 12th, I conclude that there is no reason to go to this restaurant. Lighting is harsh, décor and furnishings were close to cafeteria. The menu is simple and quite reasonably priced. My wife ordered a burger specifically asking if there were any raw onions. Answer was yes, but they would omit. Of course the burger arrives with a pile of onions. It is sent back. Replacement comes and it is a bloody uncooked burger. No one comes to check, my wife takes the plate to the bar and asks that it be cooked again. 10 minutes goes by and the waitress comes back to ask if my wife actually wanted it remade. We're frustrated because 1) any restaurant that serves uncooked hamburger does not place a high value on food safety or quality control 2) my wife is still lacking a dinner and I'm done eating. Ultimately they delivered an acceptable burger and without asking, they comped all of the food for both of us. I tipped 25% on the basis of the full un-comped check. We won't be back, which is sad.

    Ambiance was really nice and the food was good. The server was very friendly and helpful though a little overwhelmed with kitchen and billing issues which I feel the manager is responsible for but left it up to the young woman to handle. 1. Two of our party ordered the steak special of the day. The kitchen and server didn't communicate that they were out of the special and we were served tiny pieces of another steak cut and not what we ordered. She agreed it was not the special but the establishment's make-up was far from ideal - order another entree on us to-go for two prime entees. 2. Bad screw up on the billing when we were splitting the check between two couples. Instead of clarifying the split, one person was charged for just one entree and the other was saddled with the rest of the tab. This establishment can really set itself up with excellent restaurants but the mgmt seems to think it is OK to send young inexperienced wait staff out to fend for themselves and not be visible or coordinate simple things that make the diners experiences memorable for the right reasons and not the irritations. I hope they read this and get with it because they can be it.

    The Territory offered three prix fixe menu choices and we both went for the surf and turf (steak and lobster) with brussel sprout appetizer and pumpkin cheesecake dessert. Everything was fantastic. Meat tender, perfectly done (medium rare) and flavorful; lobster sweet and delicious; brussel sprouts with bacon and cheese were fantastic; cheesecake topped it off perfectly. Have not had a better meal at twice the price.

    We’ve been here before and our must-have is the Brussel Sprout Appetizer. Three of us shared it and still had some to take home. Our food was very good except the tomato soup was EXTREMELY spicy, like the chef had dumped way too much red pepper in it! The waiter apologized and said it’s not usually like that. He brought us salads instead per our request. Overall, a very nice evening! Their new outside enclosed patio is very nice and we look forward to dining in it during the day with the beautiful river view.

    The food we eventually ordered was tasty. However, I say eventually because each time we asked for something, the waiter would go back to the kitchen only to find out they were out. It was disappointing to find out so many ingredients had run out. As well, when we asked the waiter questions about the menu, sadly, he did not seem very knowledgeable in terms of ingredients and preparation. Overall a good meal however, and definitely a good price point!

    Cranberry sauce was too sour, inedible. I’d bet they forgot to add the sugar. The green beans were raw. The sweet potatoes were raw. The mashed potatoes were over whipped and gluey. They should have offered a variety of bread/roll choices. EVERYTHING else was wonderful!!!!! Looking forward to next year. Thank you so much.

    Food was excellent. We were seated too close to heater; we asked to move to the next table and we moved. Skeleton crew for Thanksgiving Buffet; we asked for butter because there was no butter on the buffet table to go with the excellent rolls. Head waiter brought us individually wrapped butter, and then went table to table to distribute butter to other diners. To be fair, we arrived at least ten minutes before the buffet was scheduled to begin. We were seated right away, as were several others. We had a berry cobbler for dessert that was yummy! There were several other dessert choices. Everything we tried on the buffet was very, very good and my companion went back for seconds.

    Thanksgiving dinner was good, lovely green salad w/ cukes & tomatoes and a great dressing. Green bean casserole unexceptional, should be banned. Brussel sprouts were the star! Tender and flavorful. Ham better than turkey which was on the dry side. Mashed potatoes & gravy standard fare. Desserts were okay, pecan pie and berry cobbler was more apple than berry and strange crust. Service spotty, had to wait awhil e before anyone noticed I was seated. Had to ask twice for my sangria special. Ambience was all outside view of the Willamette River, not much you can do for plastic tables to spruce them up, mine bobbed up & down all nite. If you are trying for high class dining, the staff needs to dress better, and the outdoor dining needs an upgrade table-wise

    Great place. Service was ok; waiter not really experienced at what he’s doing. Food good but not wow. The menu has items that makes you think it’s a pub and a few more refined entrees. So you have to make up your mind: are u a neighborhood pub/eaterie or want to be a higher quality restaurant? The wine bottles were very expensive for local wines since I know the price of bottles from this area. The pumpkin cheesecake was very good.

    Some interesting flavor combinations, although some were far less successful than others. Coq au Vin was prepared well, but with a wine so sweet it ruined the plate. Salmon was good, French dip was mediocre at best. Good staff, willing to make things right. I hope this spot solves some of its current kitchen challenges, as the location is outstanding.
