Had lunch and never knew they have an everyday brunch menu with three courses for around $20. Great value. Great food. Wasn't crowded around midday. This is a favorite spot to eat in town.
Great food and flavors
Highly recommended for those looking for THE REAL DEAL
TerraSole is our favorite Italian restaurant. They frequently have very interesting specials. Spring vegetables were wonderful as the side dish to the entrees. I enjoyed wild salmon while my dining companion loved a pasta seafood dish.
We started with the Duck Prociutto Pellegrini, Beemster Cheese, & Truffle Burrata, all three were amazing!! The house Merlot was a nice wine. I had the GNOCCHI DI FORMAGGIO DI CAPRA and my Wife had the POLLETTO DELLO CHEF, both dishes were great! We finished with an Espresso and Cappuccino. Sharing the Italian Ricotta Cheesecake was the right amount of dessert. They sent us a couple of Biscotti and 2 shots of Homemade Lemoncello, a real nice gesture!! I would really recommend this restaurant.
Great as always. Our go to in Ridgefield.
Pleasant surprise to find such a quality operation so close to home after years of mediocre venues in the area. Fresh ingredients with wonderful combinations in dishes that deliver rich flavors without overwhelming with spices or heat. Range of offerings from super fresh salads, house made pastas and a nice selection of grilled fish and meats. Amanda was a well informed host and we will definitely look forward to returning.
Great meal and service. We think this is Ridgefield‘s best restaurant.
Amazing as always!
Food is alway outstanding!
Amazing food and service! Can’t wait to go back again. We will recommend this to all of our friends.
I travel to Italy on business 5x a year & Terra Sole is the only italian restaurant in Fairfield County that makes me feel like I’m eating in Italy!
Wow! I am so blown away! I came in for a special date with my boyfriend and the staff was just more than helpful in allowing me the space to have a fantastic evening. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out everything was above expectations for a restaurant in Ridgefield.
Nice ambiance, although when you enter and walk to be seated is where the dining room is to the right, the bar (which I was told could not comfortably fit 2 people) to the right.). Right in the middle is where you wait to be seated, the waiters hang out and they hang your coats. And block the bathrooms. The waiter came and showed us a bottle of wine. $118. Really? The menu was extensive. We ordered the an eggplant app. Dry, not much flavor. My husbands carbanara was bland and my ravioli with the beautiful egg yolk center was not good from the pasta to the cheese sauce with truffle oil. The food has way too many ingredients. Less is more.
Lovely restaurant with unique specials. The staff was attentive yet not annoying as some places can be. Food was delish and place was low key & pleasant.
Terrasole is a beautiful setting for a romantic evening. However the presence of many small children who were waving small pen lights around the restaurant were quite distracting...it also meant the quaint space was very loud. The food was okay, the seafood broth my ravioli were in was a bit salty, however the portions were fair and my boyfriend and I will gladly go back on what will hopefully be a less busy evening.
This place never Fails food is just outa this world and wait staff is always amazing and prompt I've been here for brunch and dinner and definitely will be going back again .
Awesome food and service. We usually go in warm weather when there is outdoor seating. This time was different and we were disappointed that so many tables were setup inside. We were almost rubbing elbows with the couple at the next table. Fortunately the table on our other side was open or it would have seemed like a high school cafeteria.
That said, dinner was awesome and so was dessert. Mike our waiter was terrific and went out of his way to be helpful.
We have dined at Terrasole several times. The food is outstanding as is the service. The Owner/maitre d' is on top of every little detail going on in the dining room. Nothing goes unnoticed and that is what makes the service and the food top notch. This spot can be a great one for a special occasion.
Went with my wife for dinner. We shared a sausage with cherry peppers and broccoli rabe for an appetizer. Outstanding. For the main course, I got the veal osso busco which was excellent. My wife got the lasagna which was made with beef short ribs which was also excellent. A little noisy but manageble.
You will find the food at Terra Sole to be some of the best in the area. In fact, it's some of the best, period. The chef is truly amazing.
The service is very friendly and very helpful, although not always completely professional in demeanor. They are often young and inexperienced, and do not rise to the level of the food, which is 5 star. They are good, but I would like to see some carer servers in a restaurant of this caliber.
My wife and I love the restaurant, and we are glad that we live nearby so we can visit often.
Fantastic service from the moment we walked in. Cozy and charming, makes you feel like family or very special guest. From bread to dessert, everything was delicious and generously portioned.
This is agreatl local Italian restaurant. The menu changes frequently and represents regional Italian cuisine. It includes an exceedingly wide variety of exceedingly fresh seafood including lobster, shrimp, crab, local fish. The quality of seafood is unusual. I have had seafood risotto which included multiple varieties of seafood on several occasions. Tonight, I had their signature lasagna, my wife local black bass, served with fresh delicious vegetables. The large menu includes a wide selection of regional Italian specialties, creatively and deliciously presented. Staff id considerate, attentive and friendly. Although this is in the middle of
Ridgefield, it feels like a local family-owned restaurant.. We have come here for dinner as a couple and to celebrate family events on many occasions. Service is prompt considerate and friendly. The wine list is excellent. Half bottles and single glasses are also available. This restaurant stands out in a region known for fine dining. Did I forget the desserts?" Wonderful, all created in house.
From the moment you walk in you smell fresh bread baking. Soft hues of white and gentle tones of blue great you as you walk in and created by the staff. The food is delicious. Everything is balanced so perfectly and the plates are a work of art. This place makes its own pastas and desserts and everything in between. Sides include shishito peppers. Multicolor baby organic carrots. Tri color cauliflower, Sicilian eggplant caponata, goat cheese mashed potatoes and more. I had the veal chop. Center cut milk fed veal. It was out of this world. I ate every bite. My date had a black bass special. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The wine list is not lacking. Something for everyone. I suggest the brubello by the glass or the super Tuscan. Can’t wait to come back. Hopefully when the patio is open.
Amazing meal and outstanding service! The owner is very hands-on and is always checking on how things are going. Unfortunately the acoustics are terrible and very noisy. Very hard to have a conversation with your party without having to lean forward. They will definitely have to look into acoustics re-design to make it a truly outstanding experience
Attentive service, imaginative Italian cuisine, wonderfully prepared.
Beautiful, understated, tastefully decorated room. Attentive, polite waitstaff. Fantastic meal.
I had Bronzini, my date had salmon. Both were some of the best we had ever had. The very
gracious owner stopped by to be certain everything was to our liking. Would recommend and will return again. Thumbs up.
Excellent As Usual - Kitchen makes taste- Ambience cool
Excellent delicious food. Pastas freshly made and chicken and sausage dish was delicious. Service was excellent Very attentive Maitre d. Highly recommend!
Eat here only a few times a year. But somehow the owner seems to remember my wife and I. He greats us and treats us like we are weekly diners. He makes us feel quite welcome. The staff is very friendly. The service is excellent. The menu choices are excellent. Portions are substantial and delicious.
Excellant! The Dark Chocolate Belgian Creme Brulee was fabulous. We went for New Year's Eve, the full menu was offered, we weren't hurried and it was great.
2nd time New Years Eve for an intimate dinner...spectacular is an understatement.
Variety of menu options is exceptional but the quality is amazing.
The service is impeccable and the management directs the flow with expert precision and warm interaction.
Extremely pleased and plan to return...
Great food and excellent personal service. Desserts are made on premises and are wonderful. A touch of Italy right in Ridgefield Connecticut.
Went for brunch. Food was excellent; waitstaff professional and attentive; bloody Mary’s were marginal.
Amazing food and very good service by Michael. Restaurant was VERY loud but since we with friends it didn’t matter that much. Menu was amazing and portions were ample!!
As always the staff was professional and accomodating. There was a power outage in the restaurant side and despite this the staff remained focus and upbeat. The food was outstanding.
The food is always wonderful as is the service! It is a bit of a drive for us but it is so worth it! The wine list is quite nice also. Looking forward to truffle tasting as we have not been able to try it in past years due to the timing of this event. We made it a priority to be there this year!
Love this restaurant. Authentic Italian food, fabulous choices, warm, friendly staff. ❤️
Food and service never disappoint and Pietro is a great host!
Food is always excellent here, but very pricey. We had a 7:15 reservation and had to wait about 30 minutes for table, which was ok by us. But we didn’t have any food in front of us until almost 9pm, and apparently that was the end of our waiters shift, as we never saw him again. We also came in partly because of the weekly letter I get and I wanted the white lasagna that the newsletter offered. Our waiter didn’t offer it as a special, so I moved on and ordered something else, but later we heard other tables being offered the special. So mixed review. Management was very gracious during our initial wait.
