Very tasty food, excellent vegan options, nice display. Family birthday party and we would do again.
It was my birthday and our honeymoon. Lovely experience and all of our food and cocktail choices were amazing!
First dining experience at this restaurant, which is modern and beautiful. Our greeter/maitre d did not seem too interested in welcoming us. We wanted to switch our table to one near at the terrace, and he said it was reserved. No one sat at that table or the one next to it all evening!
Despite the fact that he was somewhat unpleasant, the servers were great and accommodating. And the food was delicious! And their cocktail list is unique and fun.
We will definitely return.
It was so good - I drove up from Old Town to have dinner two nights in a row!! The tenderloin is amazing!!
Quick request: The mushroom pate bagel chip needs to be replaced with the avocado dish crackers... The bagel overpowers the delicate mushroom.
Amazing vegan options. I’m still thinking of how good the mushroom lentil pate was !
Terras was an unexpected gem! This was our first time there and we had heard nothing about the place. No expectations. We were very pleased that the food and the service were both outstanding! The decor is a bit spartan, but it’s in keeping with the spa feel of the overall place. That was completely forgotten once we started tasting the appetizers and entrees. Fantastic! The desserts were a little more “healthy” than delicious, but overall the evening was really great.
Too loud indoors
I ordered oven roasted cauliflower over quinoa and it came with broccoli, not cauliflower. No acknowledgement from the waiter or chef. I was very disappointed!! And to not have the staff acknowledge it was inexcusable.
Great variety of vegetable options. Terrific service. Lovely ambience. Not cheap, but a lovely treat.
Everything at Civana has been wonderful. The staff is kind and thoughtful. The food is amazing. The only thing we would say that would even remotely fall toward a "negative" review is that the service can be a bit slow for food service at both restaurants. However, we understand the staff is new, the resort just re-opened and we understand this wonderful resort is finding its way in covid times, just as the whole world is. We are in love with Civana and will be back.
Will absolutely be back! Everything was delicious and their food is seasonal. Great drinks, and very accommodating to allergies.
So much more than good food. This was a complete experience for all of my senses. A beautiful sunset, refreshing cocktails, auravedic entrees, and delightful and accommodating staff. The best part was the 4 gluten free desserts to choose from! I am excited to return.
Hi Emily J, We are very happy that you enjoyed Terras. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
The setting is very pretty. The waitstaff is very green and untrained. Lots of little details not sophisticated or done well. The food is mediocre, doesn’t quite work flavor-wise. We tasted 8 dishes but didn’t finish anything. Great concept, I hope they get it together.
Terras is incredible. From the ambiance, to the incredibly friendly staff, to the drool worthy food!
Beautiful restaurant with beautiful view! Food was delicious.
This was hands down the worst meal, service, and ambiance we’ve ever experienced. It was so bad we left after our first bite of the entree — actually, it wasn’t even bad it was downright disgusting—the appearance, smell, and taste of the food... stomach-churning.
The dining room is a carpeted conference with the cheapest IKEA-esque furniture, no music, and LED lighting.
The wait staff appeared to be busy with what I'm not sure as there were more severs than tables, but we couldn't flag anyone down for water.
From the menu, we were excited to try the cocktails -- bad but not as wrong as the rest of the meal. Also, they have a minimal selection of alcohol, so you have to sort of choose from the menu.
This place was like the chef wanted to emulate a restaurant in NY or LA, but has never actually experienced it firsthand and so is just severely missing the mark.
Feel like you’re on vacay ... love the food and outdoor dining
Great fresh healthy food! Nice ambiance, and just as relaxing as resort.
Fantastic drinks and yummy healthy good quality food!
Delicious food with unique flavors. I had a Manhattan made with their whiskey and a unique spicy vermouth and bitters! The three of us had a different entree...steak, ahi tuna, and salmon. The carrot ginger soup was delicious. We shared the Brussels sprouts and the hamachi appetizer. The flavors were unique as was the textures. Each of us has different food sensitivities and the restaurant was very accommodating.
We hope to return very soon.
I think that they did a great job turning an old hotel and a very hip cool place with a great vibe. We live nearby and I felt like I was on vacation.
The food was artistic and the ingredients were wonderful and very healthy. The organic house wine was very smooth and inexpensive. There was lots of room between the tables so it felt very Covid safe. All of the staff was wonderful and very friendly.
Overall it was a great experience and we can’t wait to bring our friends and family back their.
Taylor was a superior host. The food was very good. It was my birthday and they really treated me special. Will def come back
The restaurant was out of several items on the menu. The server could not answer basic questions about menu items and was inattentive overall even though restaurant was not busy.
Meseret & Gladys were very attentive, both evenings & great service with a smile behind the masks!! We will definitely visit again
Limited food menu, good service & drinks. Expensive. Chicken not properly described as “airline style.” Totally fine, but not great. Nice atmosphere -
Excellent healthy food and beautiful sunset
Celebrated our daughters 21st birthday, excellent evening. Food was amazing; we had cocktails, appetizer, main and dessert.
The food wasn’t anything special and portions were really small. Service was terrible. We waited 30 minutes just for drinks and never saw our waiter again after he brought out the appetizers. We had to ask a busser to order dessert and for our check. The chocolate gluten free desserts were very dry. Our second night there we got take out and all of our food was very dry. Extremely disappointing especially since the resort does such a nice job with everything else.
The chef was amazing in his creations. We have wonderful service by all.
The food was delicious and the service was awesome. It was quiet and relaxing and I’m already counting down the days to our next trip to Civana and Terras Restaurant.
Excellent well thought out menu would recommend to try
Well this type of place just isn't in my wheelhouse. It is mostly a vegan restaurant with one chicken choice and one beef choice. Everything else is vegetables.
We ordered the wood fired chicken which didn't look very wood fired and had little to no taste. I got the tuna with a "hemp" crust - it just looked like seeds to me. The tuna had a tough vein running through every piece and the cabbage beneath is was dry and under-sauced.
Not going back. I know some other people think it's great but unless you are a die-hard vegan, I'd take a pass.
Date night with the wife. We choose this restaurant for their Vegan options and we weren’t disappointed
The atmosphere is great, great service and nice people. However, there is very limited options and what I did chose made me extremely sick. Within two hours of eating it I was sick. Not sure if maybe it just didn’t sit well with me or what. Wanted to love it but did not.
It was overall outstanding. Feel safe, clean and pristine.
Watching the sunset over the desert mountains with a zero proof honey and peach shrub cocktail in hand is the perfect way to begin the evening. Liam makes great drinks - definitely try one of the signature cocktails!
Hiramasa crudo lettuce wraps, a rich and earthy mushroom and lentil pâté served with pretzel toast and the seasonal pear tart with parsnip vanilla ice cream were highlights. It’s so easy to eat healthfully here, and chef Scott makes incredibly artful vegan and gluten-free dishes that never feel like you're compromising taste for health.
Wonderful ambience and delicious vegan options, very tasty cocktails and excellent service !
Excellent Service, Excellent Food, clean restaurant!
Going to try and avoid beating a dead horse here sooooooo....in unison with other reviewers, I'm going to say service leaves something to be desired. It was really delayed but when it was received, I'd describe it as attentive, friendly and sufficient. This is in contrast to my previous visit where I received NO service and had to retreat to my room for room service. Jordan and Katie where nice and earned their tip so hat's off to them. The food...seeing as I'm from the midwest..was a little on the smaller side. Heavy on the plant based and healthy options. No discernable animal/seafood proteins except for scallops. Would've have like more options there. All in all, just an ok experience. Not sure of the other available options but not sure i could recommend this place to any of my foodie friends. It's truly was just ok. My favorite thing on the menu was the lentil and mushroom pate but outside of that....everything else including desserts were underwhelming.
