Terrapin was a great find! We had the four-course tasting menu and the sommelier wine pairing. Both the food and the wine were exquisite. I had the beets, risotto, scallops and chocolate elegance. The food tasted fresh, with layered, complex flavors. The dessert was out of this world in overall taste, presentation, and flavor combinations. My husband, who likes spicier food, had the Autumn soup, calamari, halibut and autumn crumble. It was all excellent, but he is still especially raving about the calamari with the dipping sauce. The wine pairings were spot on and brought out the best in each dish.
We can’t wait to visit again and try more of the menu. Also, while we were dressed up for a birthday dinner, the other patrons were a mix of dressy and nice casual. So, it is not just a “Special Occasion “ place. Service was very attentive but not intrusive.
