Passed this place a million times. We finally got around to going and it was fantastic. Such a cool atmosphere, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely make it a habit of going here.
Fabulous fabulous fabulous!!! Staff was great. Food was amazing!!! Ambiance is unique. Loved. Cannot wait to go back
I was late to my reservation by nearly 20 minutes because of an error I made in my calendar. They were so fantastic in accommodating my table and were very kind and understanding. Very clean, very relaxing ambience. They were fantastic and I am so excited to dine with them again.
We went for the second time and loved our whole experience. The food was fresh and very tasty, we had the scallops, shrimp and grits, as well as the burger and fries. The coffee bar and dessert selection were outstanding but we were too full for dessert. They did a fabulous job with Covid precautions and the staff was helpful and attentive. One of our two servers was not outstanding, but he was still better than most, he just seemed in a hurry to leave and we had to wait for silverware as well as to order drinks, since we took advantage of BYOB and he was so quick but we wanted to order lemonades as well, which are OUTSTANDING here. We will be going back soon!
Always an amazing meal and ambiance. Highly recommend.
The only thing that was annoying is that you had to put your mask in a little paper bag
Didn’t make any sense !
Waitress could have been a little more friendly. I can’t remember her name. Hostess were lovely. Food was delicious. I got the breakfast board but I would have ordered something different as I’ve had that a few times. I was disappointed in the spring selections as almost every dish had asparagus in it. Are there no other spring veggies? I can understand using asparagus in a few dishes but it was literally in almost every offering. My brunch mates loved their selections. All in all always a good experience and I look forward to my next trip as we travel from Lancaster to get there. See you son!
A beautiful, almost tranquil atmosphere. Great service and excellent food.
My wife and I have been to Terrain a number of times. Each time I go, I wonder why we don't go more often.
The service is always great and the food is fantastic. We both had the seared tuna. The puree and peppers were a perfect combination for the tuna
The ambience provides a nice peaceful escape and look foward to another night out.
Terrain is a favorite when we go to Longwood. We love the creative and unique menu choices amidst the tropical decor. Our servers were polite. The hostess was welcoming. And the food and beverages...delish. Always a winner.
Always a pleasant experience from start to finish!
Food selection was okay—-not much choice for “comfort foods”. But overall a wonderful experience
Server only came by to take our order and give our food and drinks. No check in at all to see if we needed anything.
The food was salty, and cold
$60 and we went to Chick-fil-A after to eat because we were hungry
Food was great our server was very sweet and got everything right things just took a little while nothing against him we enjoyed our experience immensely
Food and service were excellent. I always enjoy the delicious complimentary bread and seasonal butter.
The local ingredients truly stand out in their food.
Already looking for a reason to come back!
Easter dinner for 5. The Terrain burger and scallops were very good. The lamb was so tough, my individual who ordered it was unable to eat any of it. The third course of the 3-course meal was really poorly done - it lacked anything special. The shrimp and grits were tasteless. It was as if zero seasonings were used. The shrimp were just steamed with zero flavorings. Was going for a special meal that was above my typical price bracket and left disappointed.
The best thing about this cafe is the atmosphere. Absolutely stunning. Food was good too but slightly pricy. Would recommend.
We enjoyed Easter Brunch outside and absolutely loved it. The food was fabluous and being BYOB we brought Champagne to enjoy with their fresh OJ. Service was also top-notch and table spacing was more than adequate. Yes we will be back!
Beautiful outdoor seating, great spot for a date or a family meal!
This place was so cute! I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and I was blown away. The ambiance was great, so much foilage and cute decor really set the atmosphere. Looking forward to dining here again!
Had an excellent meal with great service! Everyone was so nice. Will be coming back!
Everything was elevated and delicious! This has become my go-to place to bring family and friends from out of town.
Food and ambiance were superb. We waited 20 minutes past our reservation time However for our table to be ready and our entrees took over an hour to come out. The staff was apologetic and friendly so it worked out. However if you’re on a lunch break or time crunch I would advise take out and sit outside and enjoy the scenery.
The space was beautiful and the service was easy yet attentive. Such a great spot for my first lunch out in a while.
Menu was creative and food was delicious.
Wonderful setting makes for a divine experience.
Wonderful. All staff was very pleasant and cheery and professional without being stuffy.
Very kind in addressing a personal request regarding my husbands’s challenged hearing.
Never disappointed when we visit.
Good food and service at socially-distanced tables.
It was good! No complaints!
Food is very fresh, very tasty, reasonably priced! Waitresses are always nice here. One thing to note, there are 2 "seating areas" so if you want to be in the greenhouse space (personally it's got better ambiance/is prettier!), you might want to specifically request that. Our party was a group of 5 people, so we had to wait a little bit to make sure we could eat in the greenhouse area.
Everything was great as always.
Something missing now. Waitress distracted. Had to request silverware n salt n pepper. Luncheon salad greens did not appear "fresh", wilted tasteless arugula accompanied by Spartan cubes of dried out cheese, less than amount of pecans in dish. High price for offering which was barely satisfactory. One very small loaf of warm bread in clay flower pot served to 3 guests. Questioned former reputation to myself. Music overhead table exceptionally loud. May not return soon.
The atmosphere and ambiance was amazing. Please please please let's talk about the food. It was my wife birthday and she is a French toast fanatic. The French toast, coffee, fresh baked bread and home made butter. Ooh I can't forget the breakfast board. All was outstandingly amazing.
We read afterward that they had good bread but we never got any. There were only three scallops for $30 with no sides at all. They had the door open on a cold night because of Covid protocol but no other restaurant does that. Would not go back and I don’t know why people like it as much as they do.
My issue with this place has nothing to do with the food or service but their management at the store. My wife had our first child 6 weeks ago and we made Terrain our very first solo outing away from the baby for her birthday.
I called Terrain and Terrain cafe for 3 days (Friday, Saturday, and Monday) trying to get anyone to answer the phone. I went as far as to leave a voice mail with my name and number asking them to please call me back so I could confirm our reservation. Nobody ever answered or called back. When we arrived we had a late lunch which we both agreed felt rushed, and then after lunch we were told that the store and cafe were in fact closing early that day and we would have to hurry up and head out.
It was so disappointing to have driven almost 2 hours, gotten a babysitter, and taken time off of work to come enjoy this location and then be rushed out. I would be understanding if I hadn’t had the forethought to call over and over again to avoid exactly what happened. If you’re a major store like you are you should have someone answering your phones or at the very least updating your website.
We sat in their parking lot after being rushed out and on their website AND google it was listed as being open until 8pm for the cafe and the store would be open until 6pm. They told us we had to be out by 5 and made sure we were.
We love this store and cafe and have been coming for years. It sucks that what was supposed to be a special day out was unnecessarily cut short. We could have easily adjusted our plans if anyone had just answered their phone in 3 entire days. I’d still recommend but do yourself a favor and make sure they’re actually open the hours they say they are before making any long trip there.
Service was poor. It was my daughters birthday and we got stuck at the worst table. Good was just plunked down in front of us. My daughter was hit by a server passing by our table. So excited to try but very disappointed with the entire experience.
Made open table reservation, couldn’t be seated in greenhouse. The grilled cheese was almost burnt, hard to eat. We had to ask for water refills.
Different food, more to the vegetarian side, but dome meat. All was good.
Great brunch selection. You can never go wrong with the breakfast board and we loved the French toast!
Terrain in Glen Mills has it all! Great food, great service, and most of all great ambiance! We’re moving away from the area and just had to go one more time before leaving. You can be sure we will be back if we’re in the area in the future.
