Fantastic! Our first time dining here & will definitely return! 👍👍
The dining room is beautiful, the staff are knowledgeable about the local foods and they were very attentive. The food was amazing, and the hand crafted drinks! Will be returning for sure
Eating dinner in a greenhouse on a cold night was a bad idea to begin with - freezing inside. Cold air was literally moving the plastic flowers on the ledge next to our table. Wine list is mediocre at best. Mushroom soup was good. Bass was cooked naked, served in a bowl on a bed of lentils and stewed spinach - not exactly a culinary masterpiece. Carrot cake was dry and tasteless. Maybe that's farm to table in February around here - but we won't be back.
I have been before to an event organized by my company, I loved the place and the food so I came back with my husband for valentine’s day. Again the food was delicious and the café was just as beautiful as the space for the event. My husband was really surprised by it. We will definitely go back
Had to wait a little past reservation and for food. But overall great experience and food was delicious!
Plants are artificial? Wow! That was a disappointment. The service was not good. The person in reception was unkind and the waiter was just OK. The food was not good except that bread. I am not sure if we will go back.
Pricey but food was delicious. Service was great and the ambiance cannot be beat. A bit warm so FYI wear layers that you can shed.
Amazing experience on Valentines Day. Thank you Terrain Cafe!
Great spot for our Galentine's lunch! Highly recommend.
Would definitely come back for ambiance, some cocktails and a snack, but this is the 2nd time I’ve been disappointed by the food and the incredibly rude hostess. No “hello” or “welcome” and barely any words!! I said “thank you” when she sat us with a blank stare and NO response. Our waitress was very nice and attentive... only redeeming service factor.
Lovely location to meet friends for brunch.
Chicken and burger were mediocre at best. Sides and fries not very good at all. Ambiance is quite nice though. Two of the party did like the shrimp and grits. Waitress was a little surly, seemed like she didn’t want to be there. This was the second time we had her and both were the same. We left saying we wouldn’t go back again and prefer Amis instead.
This was my second experience at Terrain. I had family from out of town in to visit and made a reservation for 4 of us at 1:45. Timing worked out well as we shopped in their shop & anthropologie. Service was lovely and our waiter really took his time to explain the details that the menu might not explain. I look forward to taking my partner here for brunch some Sunday - definitely recommend a reservation though.
My first visit to this Terrain Café location It is a beautiful atmosphere with amazing food. It was nice to have cocktails at this location since the Glen Mills does not offer.
I will be back again and again.
Terrain is wonderful place to have a great meal and ambiance. My only wish is that I could hear better. It is very loud.
Very limited menu, selection has not changed since opening, food is ok but not worth the price paid.
Food was delicious and service was attentive. A perfect afternoon brunch with friends.
This will be my new go-to brunch spot. First, our server, James, was AWESOME! The entire vibe of the place is incredible and I love that everything stuck to a theme. The bread comes in a plant pot and the check in a little nature book, I thought those little touches added so much to the experience. The specialty citrus cocktail was delicious and the hummus board was great for sharing. The breakfast board is a perfect brunch meal - and everything tasted so fresh - the greens especially!
We will be back and definitely recommending it to friends!
Lovely atmosphere but a bit chilly by the windows. Delicious Avocado Benedict and Breakfast Board topped off with the yummy warm chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream. Friendly service. Will return!
So happy the Devon location opened! Love Terrain & now that it’s closer to home we will be regulars 😊
Too noisy. And too cold. Otherwise great!
Beautiful setting but the service and food were meh. Our server stopped talking to us half way through our meal - she brought our check out and dropped it on the table with no words. Never said thank you or acknowledged us when leaving. Service was very slow and inattentive. Food was just ok - for the price I was very disappointed.
The food was fabulous, but the service was slow and rather inattentive.
Food was excellent. Our waiter James was awesome. The ambience in this restaurant is fantastic. One complaint...they serve food on pieces of butcher block. My food kept falling off on to the table. A bit annoying.
We will absolutely be back!!!
terrain was great. Our server was awesome, drinks were delicious and the ambiance is cool. We loved all of the plants around, it was like eating in a garden. Food was a little pricey for what it was ($20 for eggs, bacon, sausage and toast) but overall a great experience worth the money.
Our server was terrific but the food was just so do and pretty expensive.
Room is lovely but very noisy.
This is a favorite restaurant of ours. We were sorry the maple glazed chicken dish was off the menu but were told it will probably go back on. As a replacement my guest got the cream of mushroom soup which was over the top wonderful, along with the crab cakes. The crab cakes weren't up to the level of everything else we've ever tasted at Terrain. I opted for the Bulgar veggie bowl with chicken and was extremely pleased with the dish.....yum.. Until the maple glazed chicken is back on the menu this will be my "go to" entree. They sure know how to do chicken here.
Beautiful open greenhouse-like space with lights sparkling. Food was delicious, service was excellent and attentive... AND Brooks McKinley, Terrain Cafe's General Manager, made our evening even more special. Thank you!
Wife’s salad dressing was bland
Burger was overcooked.
All of this is odd, this is usually an awesome experience.
Brunch date with my hubs. It was pouring rain which made it a little louder than normal. As always, great food, excellent service, and a great start to the day.
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding!
Excellent food and drinks.
Had the place to ourselves.
Possibly...service and selection needs some improvements.
The ambiance is fantastic but everything else is average at best
Small menu but locally sourced food so it's understandable. Food was absolutely delicious. Fresh bread and an amazing honey butter to start. We had the scallops and burger. Both were really good. Nice drink menu and ambiance. Chairs were a little uncomfortable which is my only complaint. Also a little expensive but the food was good enough to justify the cost.
Excellent waitress. Delightful and knowledgeable
Lots of drink options and beautiful place. The farmers board was great and the salmon toast was wonderful even though it was jsut bread and not really toasted the flavor was so good! We were underwhelmed by the avocado Benedict (we sent it back) and the burger was okay. We will definitely be back for wine and appetizers. The ambiance was wonderful. It is loud in there but I feel like if it was quiet you would be able to hear every conversation next to you because they do sit you close to other tables, the noise didn’t bother us at all! Overall we had a good experience with the appetizers and drink options.
Such a great treat to have fresh flavors in a bright environment with good food prepared well. I love that the staff & kitchen handed a special request with care.
Just not worth being smushed into a table. Food was meh, expensive and the waitress spilled our neighbors soup on our table. Cleaned it up (including the mess on the floor!) with a couple of small napkins. Overall, left with stains on our clothes and a stomach ache 👎
Good food, decent service, great location. Service and experience would be better if it wasn’t so loud and crowded... crowded ok, but loud is meh
