I loved my experience at terrain! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere even more so! 10/10 recommend!

Loved the breakfast. Everything was made to perfection. The waitress was a little pushy and in a hurry to get us out. At least this is how she made us feel. The drinking water in our glasses was warm. She took her time coming to our table to give us the menu. I had asked for certain things which she never came back and gave. While we were still eating our breakfast, we told her we didn't want any dessert and she then hurriedly plopped the check on the table. I had asked for a box for my food and she didn't even give me a bag to put the box in. She seemed to be in her own world and not present with her guests. Very uncomfortable having such a disconnected waitress.

This was our first time dining here. We were pleasantly surprised that it is kid friendly! My husband and I shared the green chick pea hummus & Cesar salad... both were delicious. My husband ordered the salmon ate every last morsel on his plate. I ordered the duck and it was amazing, especially the cherries which were flavor bombs! We had their ice cream sandwiches for dessert and they were just as delicious as the rest of the meal. Highly recommend trying this restaurant!

The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is local farm to table, and you taste it! It is great! Our server Jan was enthusiastic and was very good! The noise level was high, so conversation was a little difficult. But given you are eating in greenhouse you understand. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. Will definitely go back.

The food on the brunch/lunch menu was much better than the disappointing dinner food last week. We had the French toast & mushroom frittata. The avo Benedict was not a hit. This venue is amazing! Execution and service is not. Our server asked if we were Interedted in the dessert menu - we had been planning on it and saved room. When she came to take our order, they had only 3 items available but she forgot to tell us when she dropped off the menu. She did continuously remind us that the seasonal menu change was happening the next day and that we should just come back then. Some of the staff, as noted in several other reviews, is sloppy. One skirt was so short that we could see her bottom when she leaned slightly to pull out chairs, another top was so small and low, we were afraid of a mishap. I’m not averse to celebrating your body & trendy clothing, but i don’t need to see the entire bosom while I’m eating 16 dollar French toast (1 piece of bread).

I love the food and the ambiance but our server David was so focused on uoselling absolutely everything that he took the pleasure out of being there. He was not there to make sure we had a good experience but to make sure we increased our bill as much as possible. It was uncomfortable and rude. He then ignored us and didn’t “read the room”. We needed to go and he tried to bully us into dessert. Makes me so sad because we love going there and that whole experience really turned me off.

This was my 2nd visit to this location & it wasn't as good of an experience as the 1st visit. They were out of several menu items. It seemed like our server was new & he missed a few things, but he was apologetic & made sure to correct the mistakes. He took very nice pictures of me & my friends. We loved the decor & our food was good. I'm vegan & the options are limited, but they're very good. There are way more vegetarian options. I'll definitely be back!

It was my friends first time at terrain, and I’m glad she had a good experience! The menu is definitely more sophisticated, but I always find something amazing and fresh to eat. My friend got the kale ceaser, and to say the least she was impressed by the quality of the ingredients! Our server was very welcoming and friendly too. We had a great time!

This was our first time at Terrain, and we came prepared with other diners’ reviews. We had a similar experience to many of them. The ambiance and setting are amazing. Some of the food was excellent (the cheese board & Ice cream sandwich), some was just meh and grossly overpriced (the burger was very fresh but tasteless & the grilled cheese was bread on bread). Our service was great but definitely running ragged. If we return, we would stick with the cheeseboard - more than enough for the 3 of us - and desserts. Maybe a side of fries if we were super hungry. We were not as impressed as others with the drinks. For us, they were pricey and ok. A lot of people rave about the mushroom soup so I think it’s important to note that it is a purée as opposed to a broth based soup.

I ordered the salmon and the waiter asked how I wanted it cooked. I said well done....we laughed when I said no sushi. The restaurant was busy. We were taking company out for dinner and didn't want to make them uncomfortable...so I quietly told the waiter the middle of the salmon was too raw. It was taken...and it took quite a bit of time but they brought it back on the same plate cooked more! Surprising. At that point I had ordered a dessert coffee. I should have been asked if I wanted it cooked further and if not ( everyone else was done with their food) they should have taken something off the bill for their mistake. This is unlike their normal service. The waiter also ordered the wrong coffee and but did apologize. I was fine with his mistake. Fine with waiting on food. Fine with the loud noise in the place. But once mistakes are made a reduction in the bill should be done.

The ambience is FABULOUS and we loved every minute of it. I ordered the friend cauliflower sandwich and was unimpressed. It is one much too huge piece of cauliflower that has a fried crust. I did not like it. The drinks were wonderful.
