Terrace Restaurant at All Saints Estate
In 2013 this dream became reality when the very first Good Food Guide ‘Chef’s Hat' was awarded to Terrace Restaurant at All Saints Estate. Since receiving this great honour Terrace has been awarded a Chef’s Hat each consecutive year since. In addition to these praises, Simon Arkless's visionary cooking style has been commended in the Australian Gourmet Traveller ‘Top 100’ Restaurants in Australia' since 2014. For a small regional restaurant this result is outstanding.
We had a fantastic lunch at the Terrace Restaurant on Saturday. The food & wine was sensational and the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it! We will be back.
Had a very good meal and enjoyed the pairings. Would definitely return
My wife & I loved our dining experience in the Terrace Restaurant at All Saints Winery,
The food was delicious and prepared to a high standard highlighting the local produce, the matching wines were also exceptional,
A beautiful meal with excellent options for children. The food was outstanding and the wine match perfect for a relaxing Sunday lunch. A perfect setting and lovely staff.
The latest of a number of visits. The standard remains excellent, with improvement in service since we were there around New Year. As residents of the Northeast, we have The Terrace on our list of "regulars".
Outstanding food , perfectly matched with their local wines and all served by very professional and extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff in a most pleasant setting. We will definitely be returning.
Sunday lunches are always excellent and very enjoyable and the service is brilliant.
Visited the place on friday afternoon. The food and service was excellent . definitely would be back again.
Service was outstanding. Staff gave excellent reviews on each wine provided for each course. Very relaxing enjoyable service. Exquisite steak!
We did a wine tasting at All Saints earlier in the year and decided then to return for our anniversary this weekend. Dinner is a set menu, 3 courses for $85, with a good selection of choices per course. Service was friendly and of course matched perfectly with All Saints wine, try the 2017 GSM!
We had a wonderfully, relaxing lunch date at the Terrace. Amazing place to dine and unwind with great food, service and wine.
Menu was exciting and meals presented well. Service was friendly and professional. The only negative was a few flies.
Amazing food, excellent wine and lovely staff.
Such a beautiful and peaceful setting.
Cannot fault anything
Opted for two courses, main and dessert. Proteins (lamb and steak) were cooked perfectly and everything worked on the plates. Dessert was light and fresh, my mums was quite decadent but not too rich. Great service and atmosphere definitely would return if in the area again.
The service was amazing. We had a party of six and everyone enjoyed each dish thoroughly. We will definitely be recommending Terrace Restaurant at All Saints to everyone we know! Thank you.
Excellent. Good restaurant, excellent food and service, great location
Was nice, not amazing. Had a caterpillar in an oyster and dirt on the micro herbs. Wouldn’t rush back in a hurry.
Amazing. Couldn’t rate higher. Food was delicious especially smoked butter.
Great venue, great experience, how lucky are we to have access to an experience like this in regional Victoria. This continues the Brown family attitude of, if you do it, do it great. Well done and congratulations to the whole team at All Saints.
Delicious food, exceptional service, fantastic wine list; set on the stunning grounds of All Saints Estate, overlooking the vineyard. Could not have asked for more!
as usual the food wine and service were exceptional and great value for money
Ive never dined at Terrace Restaurant before. I brought a friend along for lunch, and we had a 3 course meal with matching wines. Everything was fabulous, food was amazing and so was the wine. Birgit and Jess were wonderful, tended to our needs quickly and gave great service. Love you ladies!!! Thanks for the food, Terrace.
A delightful lunch. The setting was warm and cosy on a winters day. The food innovative but also very satisfying. Wines well matched and the staff delightful.
Engaging choices, Exemplary presentation, authentic flavours, the best side dishes, memorable experience, quality ingredients, care in timing to the table, works for groups, great range of wines to cover food matches, front of house managed all service requirements with aplomb.
Had an amazing time, the food was delicious and the staff were great. The wine was fantastically paired with meals. Trying to find a good excuse to go back soon :)
Unfortunately it was a rainy day but the food , service and wine list provided adequate compensation
This is the highest rated restaurant in Rutherglen.
We went on the Satueday night of the Rutherglen Winery Walkabout to an almost empty restaurant. I ordered Beef Rump as a main. It was tough and full of sinew and inedible. I sent the meal back to the kitchen and they made me another which was exactly the same. They didn't charge me for the meal and I believe the Chef wasn't present in the restaurant that night.
We will never go back.
If we had known it was a winery walkabout weekend, we would not have booked. Upon arrival the staff were exhausted, we haven't been before and didn't know where we were going so I felt I had to ask 20 questions to discover where the restaurant was..Waiting staff were brilliant. The childrens meal was on par with McDonalds but at a ridiculous price, very disappointing as I was expecting fine dining. Wine was superb, however the need to visit the ladies involved putting on a coat exciting the building, and walking in darkness to use freezing cold toilets. I had viewed the menu the day before and was all excited only to find it had changed and no oysters available. Next time I visit the area, I'll return to the Italian restaurant in Corowa, for a much better meal...
Stunning grounds and a lovely restaurant. Food and wine were both delicious, particularly the steak (the gnocchi was ok, the flavour wasn’t really to my personal liking but it was to others so I can’t fault it really). A bit (or a lot) on the pricey side but that’s just what you expect to pay at a winery. Even though the meals were not huge they were reasonably filling enough for lunch. Good service too. The beautiful surrounds were definitely the highlight though and for me is what made the price worth paying. All in all was a pleasant meal in a beautiful setting with good service.
While our restaurant experience was by enlarge a delightful experience with service being top notch there were a couple of concerns, that on reflection spoiled our experience.
The following 2 issues were questionable.
1.We were a 12 o'clock booking,so one of the 1st tables to have our order taken. The additions to the menu were tabled efficiently by our waitress and 2 persons on our table selected the fish which was snapper with the addition of mussels being the change from the menu.Minutes later we were informed that only 1 serving of snapper was available with the choice for other being WA cod?????one would think the snapper was not sold out in the first 10mins.
2. While my fellow dinners chose entree & main I choose main & dessert from the 2 course with accompanying wines menu.I made this selection on the basis that you have the Indigo Cheese store located on your premises & took the opportunity to try some of the cheeses with my wine.Prior to my dessert choice of cheese being served I asked that the serve be increased to serve 2 so as my fellow dinners might also taste a little cheese to finish their experience also.
My surprise came with an additional $20 charge.I was a little taken back as I was already paying for my dessert as part of my choice to have cheese plate for dessert.I really felt the additional $20 was 'a little rich' as the saying goes & was not reflected in the additional serving.I fully understand I needed to pay for addition as I requested it,but felt $20 on top of already paying for my portion was incorrect.
I am sorry to have to mention the above, but was somewhat taken aback by both in a Restaurant that has such a superb reputation.
The staff were very attentive except introducing the complimenting wines. Food excellent. Venue breathtaking in Autumn.
We enjoyed a relaxed lunch in the cosy Terrace restaurant , set in a gorgeous rural setting. The service was welcoming, friendly and professional. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food and the wines.
The physical surrounds of the actual restaurant are a little disappointing being that it is a plastic gazebo, but it was warm and welcoming on a chilly afternoon.
The food was fresh and the menu provided traditional dishes with a ‘twist’.
The duck was disappointing as we felt it was over cooked and too heavy on the condiments. Not a total disaster by any means, but we all agreed that we preferred our duck to be lightly cooked and to let the true flavors shine above the additions.
The John Dory, while a little dry for me, was still delicious. The Angus steak was to die for! Perfection.
The cheese platter was amazingly generous and delicious.
The wines both red and white, were of excellent quality and value.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
An excellent restaurant, good value for food, wine, service and surroundings. The wine choices complemented the dishes we selected, and the service was efficient, friendly and professional.
I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or for a good fine dining experience in a country setting.
It is not inexpensive, but it is good value for money.
The menu is interesting and the food presentation is excellent. The sardine dish was tasty as was the ravioli. The hanger steak and the duck for main course were delicious. The tarte tatin was my favourite dish. Excellent flavour. Wines were superb. Wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Food was very good but service very slow notwithstanding the fact that the restaurant was less than half full. At $60 for two courses the restaurant is rather pricey, added to this there was a 20% holiday charge which made the meal very expensive. (We were aware of the surcharge when be booked)
We are locals & our daughter was visiting from w.a. So wanted something special & we were delighted. The staff are so friendly & knowlegeable of all dishes the food was so delicious I could have licked the plate. & we had 3 courses . Will certainly go more often.
We had a lovely lunch with friends. Service was great
As group of close friend, travelling from Canberra toMelbourne, we chose to have a stop at Corowa. We booked a lunch at All Saints and would thoroughly recommended it to anyone who is in that area. It is brilliant.
We LOVE coming to All Saints....it's our favourite regional restaurant. Whether catching up with friends, special occasions or a romantic meal for two.
Recently had a beautiful lunch at All Saints restaurant with family members. The service was friendly and upbeat although occasionally slow in anticipating needs. The food was delicious and quite varied, and although having a child's menu may not be sophisticated in some arenas, it was helpful for us. The atmosphere and views are stunning.
