We had the shrimp Rosato and was very good but the shrimp was way over cooked
The only reason I would recommend Terra Rossa to someone is that I've had good meals before. I usually order the Veal Ravioli. This time I ordered the Carbonara. It's a great simple dish when prepared properly. I got a bowl full of pasty pasta. My wife ordered a dish the waitress told her was a version of Ravioli, it came as a Penne Pasta, but was very good. One of our other party got a veal dish that was basically one note, little flavor. Her husband ordered the Lasagna. It was good but we had to instruct the waitress that we'd tried it several times before and we always received it cold (this was hot).
Waiting 10 minutes for our server to come to our table when we first sat down. We eventually got up and went to the bar to be served. Bartenders were very helpful and friendly.
The food was outstanding and the staff very kind, pleasant and helpful.
Forever wonderful, thank you again for outdoing yourselves each time.
This place is the real deal! My second time here, each was a superb experience. My wife’s father was Sicilian and a chef/caterer, so my bar is set high. The Bolognese sauce is carefully simmered for hours so the pork and beef are so tender and fully married with the sauce base. I had the lasagna this time and the tagliatelle on the prior visit and both were home runs. A beautiful cheese/olive relish accompanies the bread basket service, too. They have a Barbera by the glass or bottle that is perfectly paired and underpriced. A beautiful meal in a beautiful setting. Server Jenny was engaging and attentive, as was her associate Elvin. The managers Piero and Chris made me feel welcomed like a family member. This is traditional Italian fare in a beautiful setting with people who want you to enjoy the experience!
Excellent breads and accompaniments (olives, cheese, and fried zucchini). Very good pasta. Fair to good veal parmigiana which was overpriced at $69 even though the serving portion was generous.
It was our first time at the Red Rock and we enjoyed all of it. The restaurant was clean and service prompt and informative. The food came you quickly and was great. We triend a few dishes and they were all outstanding.
If you ever want to impress a date this is the perfect spot , quiet good service and great food !
Such an exceptional service team!
As always the food was great as was the service by Steven
When we sat down and looked at the menu many items we had already picked out from the internet menu were not there, so there was some disappointment. Need to update the internet menu. Food was excellent, service not so good, although our server was very nice. Great fried calamari, veal ravioli, veal Marsala and fish with large portions. Even though very slow service we had a fun time and would go back again for the food!
We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The server name was Jane. She was amazing. Super friendly and inviting. The food was perfect!! Will definitely have our business again!!!
Food and service always great. Felix is outstanding
Many times dinning at Terra Rosa always solid. Trinity is the best.
Food and wine were amazing! Got seated and didn’t get to order for 20 minutes. Noise level was very loud. Despite these things, will definitely come back for the food.
The only positive was the Ambiance.
Negatives: Service/ Food Duration/ Food Quality
We came for the first time on Valentine’s Day. We figured it would be a good place to spend our special day. But boy, were we wrong. We sat in between two other couples that started about the same time we did.
We should have realized it was going to be a long night after everyone else around us already received their drinks and bread, and we were still sitting there with an empty table. Then it seemed that they had to overnight a bottle of water from Italy because it literally took 5 to 10 minutes to get some water. Then about 10-15 minutes later we got a bread basket and our appetizer. It was about an hour and 15 minutes in and we have not received our entrees. We were looking for someone to help but it seems that the manager and the server was only concerned with the couples next to us. We finally received our entree it was way too salt :( . We had to cancel because we didn’t have another hour to wait :( all that waiting for nothing. Both couples have already left and we were still there, hungry and waiting on our check.
Manager was present at the table next to us but never bothered to come by to apologize.
Food wise we enjoyed their olives and calamari. They also had a nice assortment of bread(which were cold, but not sure if they were suppose to be?) but good cause we were hungry. Entree’s we got one Carbonara, which was too salty for our taste. The Chicken Parmigiana that I order tasted great but was room temp as if it were sitting under a Heat lamp for a minute.
It’s unfortunate to say we had high hopes for this place but were dissatisfied. They ruinEd what was suppose to be a great valentines dinner.
Wonderful Valentine/date night out. Food was amazing and lots of it too. Cocktails were awesome!
The food was very, very good. Service was amazing. Great overall experience.
I only would like to give my opinion , so the chef might do some modifications, the Caprese salad was very acidic, it overwhelm all your taste buds, maybe more olive oil, less acid, the Veal Limone was tough to cut and chew, the service was nice, very attentive staff.
Service and ambiance was very good. The food just okay.
What a great place! The food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. My spouse and I shared the veal ravioli, I had the Caesar Salad, and my spouse had the Minestrone soup. We followed it up by sharing the Cannoli (best I've ever had - not overly sweet). Definitely will be back again!
Glad to have this spot back at Red Rock! Food, chef and service were impeccable.
Food was delicious and love the atmosphere, amazing cocktails!
Great pizza and wine selection
Service was great. Food was delicious. Only down side was the volume level. We plan to visit again in the future.
This was the second time here since Masso left. Both times they were out of the Branzino I wanted to order. I had the only other fish on the menu - salmon. It was very plain and boring. The salmon I make at home is far superior. Not impressed either time I have been. Won’t be back.
We were eager to try Terra Rosa since it reopened . Our experience was not what we expected. Food was ok at best. My husband ordered a Chicken dish that was black and burned. Surprised anyone would let it leave the kitchen. I had chicken parmigiana which was ok. Comes with no sides and good portion. Problem was it lacked taste.
Service was an issue as well Restaurant was not full but we had to ask for bread. Noticed that other tables were getting it without having to ask for it. Service seemed inconsistent with other tables . Don’t think we will be back.
Breads and snacks (olives, zucchini chips and cheese) was very good. Service was good. Caesar salad was good and nicely divided for two. Waiter forgot to split the linguini and clams and the sea bass. Both were very good with the pasta perfectly done al dente. Very reasonable price.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the hostess and were immediately seated. Our server, Adelina, came to the table with suggestions for drinks and suggested appetizers. My wife's pinot grigio was well received, twice.
While viewing the menu a tasty selection of fresh bread arrived at the table. Adelina returned to answer questions about the menu and we settled on splitting a chopped salad, splitting the carbonara, an order of veal parmigiana and an order of chicken carciofi .
As we waited for our meal to arrive, the manager, Alberto, stopped by our table to welcome us. He was engaging and we got to know one another in short order. He assured us he was available for any thing we might need or to accept comments on the food.
As the salad arrived, it was accompanied by a tray of olives and chunks of parmesan cheese. The salad more than enough for two and if was very tasty. Without being rushed, once we finished our salads, the carbonara arrived with our main courses. I would say that the carbona was about the best we have had and was the perfect size. This dish was perfection as was our main courses.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience from beginning to end. Adelina was terrific, Alberto was a welcomed addition to our experience and the waitstaff was all about good service. As locals, we look forward to returning for ourselves, our friends, and with our out of town guests.
Veal ravioli is amazing!
Great food. Great service. Love the bread and cheese that is complimentary.
Expectation had been set for a bit of a wait at arrival, and there was a one hour wait. That aside, we were welcomed with a complimentary flute of champagne. The ambiance is chic, without being over the top. Wait staff were attentive without being overbearing, and it was nice that all entrees were delivered to our table at the same time. The food was exceptionally good, no exceptions to any of our choices! Side note: Even though it was an evening meal, the coffee is highly recommended. Terra Rossa, welcome back!!!
Italian Restaurant Group took over Terra Rossa for the night and absolutely CRUSHED IT!!! It was an absolutely extraordinary evening of Culinary excellence and amazing service.
On a whole, I was disappointed with this restaurant. The food was good, so if that is all that matters to you when you spend your dining dollars, you will probably be OK with it. We generally try to eat earlier to avoid the crowds, so we arrived around 5:30pm. It started off well, but we waited an hour and a half to get our main course. It probably wouldn't have mattered as much but people who arrived after us, ate and left before we were served (and it looked like the same menu item). Just so you know, we never ask for changes to what is on the menu, like extra sauce or no onions, etc... Later the waiter came by with a smile, asking if the food was wonderful and worth the wait, which we just returned the smile, not to be rude. We finally left a little before 8pm after spending a little under 2 C-notes. Not the best of dinner dates with my wife.
Taste of Capri was outstanding
Food, service, ambience was right on track
The food and service were amazing! We loved the special menu!
What an amazing night, they flew in the Chefs from Capri Italy for 3 nights, most who did not speak English, what a great challenge that management pulled off, the place was sold out had a huge waiting list, food was great, service was also great, still cannot believe how they pulled this off, it was not Terra Rossa's menu but the Capri Restaurants on the island of Capri. Steven, Chris and Jacob who took care of us were a 10, I hope they do this again with another restaurant from Italy.
My wife and I have been here twice. Both times the food was outstanding. Both times the wait was painfully long. The service is terrible. It's not that the servers were rude. Quite the opposite, but we went this last time and our first course came out over one hour after we ordered it. The manager came and apologized and it was handled as best they could but still we will not return. Since moving back to Vegas after being gone for 20 years we used to love the Station Casinos for dining but have had nothing but garbage and disappointment since coming back.
