Terra Rossa - Red Rock Casino
Service was great. Food was delicious. Only down side was the volume level. We plan to visit again in the future.
This was the second time here since Masso left. Both times they were out of the Branzino I wanted to order. I had the only other fish on the menu - salmon. It was very plain and boring. The salmon I make at home is far superior. Not impressed either time I have been. Won’t be back.
We were eager to try Terra Rosa since it reopened . Our experience was not what we expected. Food was ok at best. My husband ordered a Chicken dish that was black and burned. Surprised anyone would let it leave the kitchen. I had chicken parmigiana which was ok. Comes with no sides and good portion. Problem was it lacked taste.
Service was an issue as well Restaurant was not full but we had to ask for bread. Noticed that other tables were getting it without having to ask for it. Service seemed inconsistent with other tables . Don’t think we will be back.
Breads and snacks (olives, zucchini chips and cheese) was very good. Service was good. Caesar salad was good and nicely divided for two. Waiter forgot to split the linguini and clams and the sea bass. Both were very good with the pasta perfectly done al dente. Very reasonable price.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the hostess and were immediately seated. Our server, Adelina, came to the table with suggestions for drinks and suggested appetizers. My wife's pinot grigio was well received, twice.
While viewing the menu a tasty selection of fresh bread arrived at the table. Adelina returned to answer questions about the menu and we settled on splitting a chopped salad, splitting the carbonara, an order of veal parmigiana and an order of chicken carciofi .
As we waited for our meal to arrive, the manager, Alberto, stopped by our table to welcome us. He was engaging and we got to know one another in short order. He assured us he was available for any thing we might need or to accept comments on the food.
As the salad arrived, it was accompanied by a tray of olives and chunks of parmesan cheese. The salad more than enough for two and if was very tasty. Without being rushed, once we finished our salads, the carbonara arrived with our main courses. I would say that the carbona was about the best we have had and was the perfect size. This dish was perfection as was our main courses.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience from beginning to end. Adelina was terrific, Alberto was a welcomed addition to our experience and the waitstaff was all about good service. As locals, we look forward to returning for ourselves, our friends, and with our out of town guests.
Great food. Great service. Love the bread and cheese that is complimentary.
Expectation had been set for a bit of a wait at arrival, and there was a one hour wait. That aside, we were welcomed with a complimentary flute of champagne. The ambiance is chic, without being over the top. Wait staff were attentive without being overbearing, and it was nice that all entrees were delivered to our table at the same time. The food was exceptionally good, no exceptions to any of our choices! Side note: Even though it was an evening meal, the coffee is highly recommended. Terra Rossa, welcome back!!!
On a whole, I was disappointed with this restaurant. The food was good, so if that is all that matters to you when you spend your dining dollars, you will probably be OK with it. We generally try to eat earlier to avoid the crowds, so we arrived around 5:30pm. It started off well, but we waited an hour and a half to get our main course. It probably wouldn't have mattered as much but people who arrived after us, ate and left before we were served (and it looked like the same menu item). Just so you know, we never ask for changes to what is on the menu, like extra sauce or no onions, etc... Later the waiter came by with a smile, asking if the food was wonderful and worth the wait, which we just returned the smile, not to be rude. We finally left a little before 8pm after spending a little under 2 C-notes. Not the best of dinner dates with my wife.
Taste of Capri was outstanding
Food, service, ambience was right on track
The food and service were amazing! We loved the special menu!
What an amazing night, they flew in the Chefs from Capri Italy for 3 nights, most who did not speak English, what a great challenge that management pulled off, the place was sold out had a huge waiting list, food was great, service was also great, still cannot believe how they pulled this off, it was not Terra Rossa's menu but the Capri Restaurants on the island of Capri. Steven, Chris and Jacob who took care of us were a 10, I hope they do this again with another restaurant from Italy.
My wife and I have been here twice. Both times the food was outstanding. Both times the wait was painfully long. The service is terrible. It's not that the servers were rude. Quite the opposite, but we went this last time and our first course came out over one hour after we ordered it. The manager came and apologized and it was handled as best they could but still we will not return. Since moving back to Vegas after being gone for 20 years we used to love the Station Casinos for dining but have had nothing but garbage and disappointment since coming back.
Food was outstanding! Served hot and in a timely manner. Variety of menu items is good. Wine list is limited to mostly Italian wines, but good selection. Server was well informed and non intrusive. Desserts were very good. My only complaint is the noise level which can be distracting well restaurant is busy.
Having been to a number of restaurants at Sunset, Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch Hotel/Casinos, this was the one that I absolutely would not go back to or recommend.
A very long wait before ordering. Drinks,Water and bread should be served right away after being seated. We made reservations so management knows we’re coming.
The food is very good.
The waitress was awful. She treated us like it was a fast food restaurant. She did know the menu. When I asked how to pronounce the main speciality cocktail she told she did not know the word, but it was tasty. She was correct. It was good, but her service got worse. Drinks took so long we stopped drinking cocktails. Then she started clearing half the water glasses from the table. She had to come back numerous times for correction on orders even though she wrote it down. It was so frustrating my guests went out of their way to avoid talking about the service until we left. The food temperature came out mild. But the food could
Have been good if it was served in time.
I store on the reservation it was for an anniversary no acknowledgement
With reservation tried to seat us at worst table
Server did not know menu
Wrong drink delivered
The service ruined the whole experience it’s a shame because the good is very good
Excellent food and friendly staff. We were seated immediately upon arrival.
Food was very good staff was very accommodating to our requests from menu ! Crowded but running right on time for reservations and prices were very reasonable
I dined at Terra Rossa for the second time last night - only because I live in a different state. My last experience at Terra Rossa was so memorable that I could not wait to return. The food is amazing but what put my dining experience over the top was the professional, kind and attentive service by Trinity. She is an exceptional server and an amazing person. She treated my guests, at one visit my mother, and at another my granddaughter with such kindness and respect. I cannot wait to return in 2 days to dine at Terra Rossa before I have to leave Las Vegas. HIGHLY Recommend!
Marginal service and marginal food
Very mediocre food greatly disappointing. Years ago this restaurant was amazing it came back inferior to an Olive Garden
It was so loud that the server missed part of my order. Had to shout across the table to try to carry on a conversation. Food was good but the noise level will keep me away.
The staff was nice, but the ambiance of the place was lacking with the smell of smoke coming in from the casino and the noise level being fairly loud. The food was overpriced and didn't taste quite right. Though they spent a lot of time telling us about the quality and history of the food, it never met their high standards. My meal was extremely lemony and my wife's lasagna was bland. Again, the people were nice, but the service was slow, the food was poor, and the overall feel of the place didn't match the prices they were charging.
Our waiter,Steven and Sig. Alessandro, made our night! They were so attentive and friendly. We had a great time! I am happy to have Terra Rossa back at the Red Rock.
The service was friendly and impeccable. The menu was diverse and the food we chose was fantastic. We were never rushed even though it was just my husband and I on Date Night. Wonderful atmosphere and we enjoyed it very much. We will definitely be returning.
We have been here a few times other experiences where very good. This one sucked .... 5 put if 6 of us had cold food. The server was awful. We tried to pay cash for part of the check and no one could figure out how to do it even the manger seemed to have issues. The server came to us and said that on a 300.00 tab she wasn’t getting a decent tip!!! We all added 20.00 more so I’m sure she did alright There was a party in the bar that took all the servers so we waited for everything.... I was recommending this place to my friends but will not anymore.
Food was outstanding. Had veal marsala. Served hot and was very tasty. generous potion. Service was very good and not intrusive. Only complaint was the noise, Difficult to have a cross table conversation. Nice Italian wine list
My girlfriend took me for my birthday since I have been
Wanting to dine at Terra Rossa. Italian cuisine is my favorite. I was very disappointed with the lasagna.
I thought it would taste better than it did. I frequently dine
With my husband at fine dining restaurants and I feel
That for the qualify and taste of the lasagna that it was
Over priced at $19.00. It was a nice size portion but not the best taste. The Caesar salad was great and the
Dressing was very good.
Probably one of the worst meals I’ve had in 2019. Dry, bland chicken; overly salty sausage and peppers; tasteless tiramisu; food server had almost no training . The carpaccio was really good though.
Trinity is simply the best! Her suggestions are always without fail! EXCEPTIONAL
Our Server Trinity was very helpful in our decision to order. The Cacio de Pepe was so delicious and my husbands Veal with Lemon sauce was superb. What a great find for excellent Italian food!!
Wonderful experience. Food was fantastic and Sandro Coppola Gourmet Dining Director was incredible. Highly recommend
This restaurant has been there 4 months
Big disappointment from previous one
Won’t return. Food and ambiance were less than average.
Appetizers were fine. Main courses disappointed. Overdone meats. Burnt sauces. Below par.
Enjoyed our evening very much. Nice wine list. Food was outstanding!! Servers were very attentive and helpful.
Service was good, servers were quite attentive. Was way too noisy. Food was mediocre at best. Won’t be returning.
Went there a few weeks ago and the linguini with clams was outstanding! Had the same dish last night and it was tasteless....almost thought they forgot to include the garlic
In the clam sauce!
