Daily Happy Hour 4-7pm.
Tuesday - 1/2 Off all Bottles of Wine
The restaurant is located in the Conrad Ft Lauderdale. My fish dish was delicious. No partner had pork chops. He thought they were over cooked and bland. Don’t miss the passion fruit tart for dessert. It won’t disappoint!
We went there for Brunch. There IS a published Brunch menu BUT no brunch was served and they tried to fleece us by getting us Dinner portions.
And the place was nearly empty...!! BEWARE!
We unfortunately had very slow service and the restaurant was pretty much empty so it’s hard to blame it on any other thing than bad service. We ordered a bottle of wine and they brought it to the table after we had already finished our appetizers so we did not have them open it and asked for the check. It was unfortunate because the food was spectacular and the place is nice.
I was charged on my card and on my room plus seems like only way the cook steak is well done place has tons of potential but I was expecting better
This was the first time in a very long time that I've been 100% satisfied with my dining experience. I am in love with Terra Mare. They made a very special night out of a VERY special night for my husband and I.
The food was heavenly (we are every morsel of it), the service was royal and the ambience.. right on the beach was magical. It's clear we've found our special place. Thank you!
Very nice place
Date night with hubby. Food is excellent! Ambiance creates great energy. Highly recommend.
Birthday - they gave my friend a candle on her dessert.
Beautiful place, great live music. Food was good but very small portions. Like other reviews, I have to add that service was slow . Overall, we had a good time but food and service was not so great. I will try other restaurants.
Bday celebration for 9 people. Bday person’s steak was very over cooked & she didn’t get her replacement til the end of the meal. Really embarrassing. Everyone else’s food was a hit or miss. But the Seafood tower was great & the complimentary corn bread was to die for. Overall, would not go back.
Food was great and Joey our server was the best! Will return.
Our server Joey was THE absolute best !
He was so attentive(especially since it was mom’s birthday) and knowledgeable about everything on the menus.
He chatted and laughed with us, which made the experience extra personable!
We cannot wait to visit again the next time we’re in town !!
Thank you Joey and thank you Terra Mare!
Until next time,
Andrew and Rashelle Hudson
We are regulars at most restaurants and bars on Las Olas and the nearby areas. We will definitely return to Terra Mare. Amazing food and ambiance. Perfect for date night. :)
Everything was amazing!! Server Ilya is very professional and kind with right suggestions. Chief is beyond amazing and food is top notch!!
They depend on the location to score points and not the quality of the food. The location is fantastic. Its right on FTL beach. For the price, the food should be excellent. Instead, it was just good not great. The service was great. So i guess I am saying is i expect a higher quality of food for the price. Better food or lower prices. Pick One
For a Mother's Day breakfast and for all of the staff they had the service was absolutely horrible.
Probably sat there 20 minutes before anyone even came to the table and the overpriced food took forever.
We had a lovely evening with good food and great service from Joey, Jennifer, a visiting manager, and the whole team. Great lightning show over the water, delicious food, and a relaxing atmosphere.
We had gone for Easter brunch, there was a minimal selection of food , a couple of the hot plates had nothing on them and what was there did not look appetizing
At $60 per person, absolutely not worth it
Live music was too loud. Requested a quiet table and twice the hostess showed us to overly loud locations. I finally led her to a table where music was tolerable. Buffet for $60 was skimpy - no grilled or sautéed vegetables. Lamb and prime rib were pre sliced and piled unattractively, not carved to order. There was no option of fish or chicken for non meat eaters. Wait staff were not overly attentive, had to be called over to refill water/mimosas. Generally, nothing was special about the brunch except the price.
I fully expect this restaurant to close. There is too much competition for it to survive unless it changes its chef, menu, and pricing.
Party: 3 adults + a 6 yr old. Easter brunch $264.64 incl tax. The most amazing view, of course. Food choices were extremely limited on the buffet, especially for a child, but what was there was good. No fresh vegetables (there was a cooked potato in sauce - very good & a salad in a cup, very pretty, but couldn't cut it in the cup & it had too much dressing). No bread or crackers available for the dips (our, very competent waitress, found some for us). We do not drink (included drinks are probably why the brunch was so costly considering the limited food choices) but our beverages (1 coffee, 1 coke, 1 OJ, 1 hot tea = $25.50) were extra. There was a nice dessert table (mousse was excellent, fruit tart was grainy). Easter bunny with candy for the 6 year old was a nice touch. Our waitress saw to it we got a photo.
If you are looking to have a wonderful view of the ocean with drinks & dress casually, this is the place. If food is your priority, it is not. Valet parking (which is essential) with validation is $7. We were there at 1:15 PM & it was not busy, on Easter, at all.
Nice high-end beach front restaurant that slightly missed the mark. Appetizer (tuna tartare) was delicious but entree (branzino) was just ok. Fish was nicely cooked but had sauce had little flavor so meal felt bland. Service started attentive but as restaurant got busy the service suffered. Waiter brought our bottle of wine to the table but then disappeared for 10 minutes before returning to open it. Setting was lovely.
Our server Stacey and the manager took special care to make sure our special occasion was memorable. It was a moon lit night and quiet as we sat on the deck with the ocean as our view. We had a great time and enjoyed every aspect of the dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant at Conrad.
Nice relaxed dining. Staff were very nice and friendly especially Noelle who looked after us.
the location can’t be beat-on AIA across from a full view of the ocean! great breeze! food is ok/good. nothing unusual, just the usual offerings prepared in the standard way. i do think that the avocado toast should be offered as a vegan entry and then an egg as an add on, also reduce the price by a dollar so that people aren’t paying for something that they don’t want but have the option to add on and pay for something they do want. easy to do and then you can say you have vegan options, something more and more people are looking for.
We were seated and the waitress came to our table three times and never took even a drink order. We ended up walking out because of a complete lack of service.
We stayed at the Conrad for a pre-cruise night and had outdoor seating at Terra Mare across from the beach. All of the food was excellent from appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our excellent waiter was very friendly and didn’t hesitate to make suggestions for all three courses of dinner, provide info about the chef’s specialty items added to the menu, as well as make suggestions from the cocktail menu with some very unique drinks. The next time we are in Fort Lauderdale again, we will definitely choose to dine at Terra Mare
Food was mediocre, cocktails were heavy on the alcohol but not great tasting, prices were not fair and service lacked big time but the ocean view is beautiful. There are a lot of other options on Ft. Lauderdale beach that we will brunch at in the future.
Great food and view of the beach. Food service was extremely slow.
Very tough grilled octopus and far less than tender pork belly. That’s a hard dish to make taste like leather! And yet they did it for a crazy price! I don’t mind Spending The $, but this was less than. Great Walter and great wine and oysters. Can’t mess that up!
Wait staff wasn’t too friendly and they forgot some of the food and drinks...
The food was excellent as well as the view. However, the server was lousy. It was our anniversary so we were pretty disappointed. We aren’t needy customers, but this girl would vanish for 30, 45 mins. Nowhere in sight. Had to ask for water...several times. She didn’t even introduce herself to us. For the price of this restaurant, you expect better service.
Great! Espectacular! Lovely environment, people and of course food! 5 stars!
No service: shame management let go so many people. I could have served myself drinks at bar. Not fair to waitstaff. Food was good when it came. View perfect. Need new management.
Fantastic!!! Great food and over the top service!
The view was amazing and the food was even better!!! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Lovely outdoor setting for drinks or dinner. Service was very good, food tasty but nothing we were served was hot. Our entrees arrived while we were still eating our 1st course. We stopped eating 1st course
(since it wasn’t hot anyway) and started eating our entrees (duck and pappardelle). Also not hot. Barely warm. Would have been
delicious if it were hot.
Great service, outside seating was nice but traffic sound was a bit noisy, we enjoyed the grilled octopus, tuna tartare, beef tartare, ceviche. The cornbread was heaven!
Food was very good and service excellent. We sat outside but unfortunately due to landscapers on property and, worse, construction noise, it detracted from the experience. If you are looking for a nice occasion, I would go during hours that is not happening or, if during the day, sit inside or wait until construction adjacent properties is complete.
Great small plates destination. Inventive food pairings. Great location
It was my first time here, and definitely will be returning. The food was delicious, the service was great and the outside seating is perfect to view the beach.
