   Really amazing atmosphere, staff and service was faultless. We went on a Wednesday so was quite quiet, but still a lovely ambience. We opted for the 5 course taster which worked out about equivalent in cost to a starter + main a la carte, and it was stunning start to finish. Couldn't recommend enough!

   First time dining at Terra Mare. We had the Sunday menu at 2 courses for £30 and 3 for £35. We bought additional mocktails/drinks which were lovely. The portion of the mains were fantastic. We were stuffed when we left. Value for money is very high. The starter was small but perfect as the main was large. Brilliant service by the servers. My 4* review was not a 5* simply because the server forgot to bring our gravy with the mains which took quite a few attempts at getting multiple servers’ attentions before one finally came over to us and brought it over - the gravy is includes with the roast sides which was why we tried asking for it. Overall, we’d love to come back for the ordinary menu on another occasion. The atmosphere was lovely. We were sat quite close to a table of loud ladies while we were speaking at a respectful noise level. Nonetheless, it wasn’t disrupting us too much. Once again, the staff were fantastic with our water glasses being refilled as soon as empty - we asked for tap water so free refills. Very elegant touch. Will recommend and will be returning.

   Came here with friends for a roast after being on my list for a while, and we were not disappointed one bit. The service was up there with one of the best I've had in Cardiff. The food was great with options for all. I had the pork belly and oh my lord. It was humungous, will be coming here again for sure

   Truly outstanding meal in probably the best restaurant in Cardiff! I’ve eaten all over the world and take this as a high compliment.

   Had the most wonderful evening. Originally booked for 1845 but we wanted to eat earlier, the staff could not have been more accommodating. Had the 5 course taster menu, food absolutely to die for, especially the lamb course but in truth the whole menu was amazing. The staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly. Could not have asked for a better evening, worth every penny. Would highly recommend and will be back next time we visit Cardiff 10/10, fabulous

   The restaurant itself is lovely however 2 hours and 15 mins for 2 starters and 2 mains seemed crazy! The service was great however.

   Delicious food, lovely restaurant and great service. Complimentary dessert to share for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Will be back!

    Sophisticated Italian dining, quality ingredients and cooking. Some interesting, tasty dishes. I felt the cost of food and wines good value for the quality provided. Excellent service, the waitress knows her job. Room is dark and was quiet as we dined early. Activity at the bar lifted the atmosphere appropriately.
