    Our waitress was very helpful in helping us select our meal choices. She also accommodated my special request of a side of poutine with my burger and having the bartender make me a delicious lemon drop. Our food was delicious. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly but he was a bit disappointed it was so small because of a thick rim of fat. All in all very satisfied with our random off the street selection.

    Really nice place - ambience and decor, not busy at 7am on a weekday, great value for the food and delicious and great quality ingredients. I would recommend.

    We had the summer fruit salad which was a delicious blend of flavors. My husband had the burger which was cooked to perfection. I had the forage and feast pasta which was delicious. Sourdough bread was crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

    Excellent food and service. The appetizers were all delicious - burrata and beetroot salad, sausages and beef skewers. The mains - chicken, steak, salmon and burger - were also all delicious. No room for dessert this time.

    Sadly it feels just too much like a hotel restaurant. The waitress her self was nice enough but the process of serving was just too disjointed - no coordination between drinks and food… The menu looked great hence booking. The food was “clumsy”, having the feel of being executed by a junior with no oversight rather than having designer of the menu involved (for example, I normally like to add salt and soo have a regrettably created a high salt tolerance but the lentil base to my dish was so salty I could not finish…)

    My son and I shared the pork tomahawk. It was excellent. Trust me because we Chinese know our pork! LOL

    The beet salad and pasta dish were very good. The steak burger was way over cooked and the fries were so over cooked that I’d say they were burnt. I should have asked for a replacement plate but I was too tired and hungry. In retrospect the server should not have served the food. Missing the boat on a simple hamburger and fries is not a good sign for any restaurant
