The system should really be updated, the restaurant was closed. Would’ve appreciated saving the drive and energy to get there to find out reservations are no good.
Was not open. Made a reservation for nothing. Spent an hour on the freeway. Very disappointing. They need to update their Open Table.
Terra wasn’t open and didn’t call me to advise this. My party was treated badly from staff.
I don’t want to complete this review and think it’s really stupid open table makes you so forced reviewing
Great Ambience, a fantastic place for a celebration that's not as carb heavy
Fabulous setting, service and food!
Great ambiance and delicious food. Good service. Very enjoyable evening
We went on a Sunday later afternoon. Menu was still brunch oriented even at 3pm. Waiter forgot our drinks when we ordered and had to come back to ask. Only 2 drinks were requested. Then when he came to take out order we said “we would like to start with....” and he said “no you have to place it all now” I’ve never been anywhere were you cannot spread out your meal. He wasn’t rude but short.
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
Waited over an hour at the table to put in our order. Food came and it was sub-par. My eggs Benedict was undercooked. The whites of the egg were runny. Waiter brought the wrong things. Manager gave a measly discount to make up for it.
Also, they were pressure washing or cutting bushes so it was so unbelievably loud that you couldn’t talk.
Beautiful dining experience, grateful for all of our servers, they did a fabulous job taking care of us!
I love the great staff, grilled meats and pasta dishes - actually the whole menu is delicious, but the atmosphere is my favorite. It’s so pleasant and comfortable. I love it!
We had a wonderful lunch, in large part to our amazing service. Thank you!
Wonderful date night experience with wonderful food in an al fresco environment. A little pricey, but service and ambiance are great.
Very beautiful place!
We went to celebrate my honeys Birthday and they did not disappoint. We are planning to return soon!
Food was good for the price but unfortunately the weat
Great atmosphere and good food. A nice selection of wines as well. Great service. Tables spread out far from each other. Even though, you are eating outside, you don't feel it because of the heaters. Recommended.
Nice place. Good food. But overpriced.
The ambiance was very nice. However, we did not like being told to order everything at once, per the chef’s request - as we felt rushed to make all of our menu selections.
Great place with a nice view. The food was excellent, but the hostess was quite unfriendly.
Fortunately tha manager came to the rescue.
I have heard of and been wanting to try Eataly ever since they opened. I did have good expectations of it and now that I finally tried it I can say they did match those expectations. I took my husband on a date here, he’s usually picky about his food so I was nervous about what he’d think about this restaurant. He loved it, to my surprise. The food was delicious and the whole experience was overall excellent. We had the octopus and potatoes for entree (9/10), duck ragu (8/10) we felt it needed more sauce but flavor was definitely there, beef ragu (10/10) just terrific, tiramisu for dessert (9/10), drinks were delicious too. Waiters were friendly and helpful too. Although we were at a mall it didn’t feel or tasted like mall food which was a nice thing. After we dined we went downstairs and bought a couple of wine bottles and checked out their extensive selection of items, we didn’t want to leave. Definitely coming back and recommending it to our friends.
Fantastic. All perfect.
Nice atmosphere, food was excellent
Pasta is delicious! Expecting pizza tho!
Amazing service, excellent food, and cozy beautiful ambiance
Nice view, with decent menu, and good service!
Was not worth it. We came for an important birthday. I spoke to a lovely person in the morning letting her know about the occasion and asked for a special table with a heating lamp. We arrived and were given a table no where close the ‘nice’ area. Once I explained earlier call we were placed at a nicer space in the restaurant. Our waiter was great and redeemed the evening a bit but honestly the food was just not that good. overpriced and not well prepared. Mushrooms were chewy, tagliatelle was very chewy. Not worth it. Better restaurant and food elsewhere. Our server Thomas was great though and saved the day. We would have left.
Service was a bit slow, but was otherwise enjoyable.
Great atmosphere with amazing food and drinks!
They were completely booked but the host recommended we try open table to see if we could book a reservation and we were able to do that! Very friendly staff and our waiter was super helpful since this was our first visit and we weren’t familiar with Italian wines. Just a great experience- lovely people and atmosphere and fantastic food.
The food was delicious, the service was a tiny bit slow. I only mention that as it is pricey, if it were more affordable I wouldn’t think anything about the speed of the service. We had a 2:15reservation on Sunday. We just received our first cocktail and were told it was the last call, that was a bit disappointing. The waiter returned and we kindly thought we would double check if a second cocktail would be permitted, he checked with the bartender and they made an exception. It was during covid precautions, so only outdoor dining is allowed. It was chilly and the streets were loud as there was a lot of energy from the elections. They placed us next to a fire place and by a heater so we were comfortable. When I called inquiring about the reservation, they said be sure and bring a coat, that was thoughtful. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will return.
Terra has great views of Los Angeles, lovely cocktails and delicious food.
Bad service our waiter never checked in with us. Only saw our waiter at the beginning, luckily we made an order that one time we saw our waiter. We waited so long we wanted to leave, because the service was bad, also we couldn’t get the check either to leave. Our waiter was also the waiter to the table next to us he was more attentive to them than us. We walked out to go to the restroom and when we returned to our table everything was cleaned up yet we still have not paid we could have left and no one would have noticed. But we are honest people so we decided to go up to some and hunt down our waiter so we can pay and leave. Never have I ever have have to hunt down a waiter physically to pay for my meal. NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT.
Definitely a good spot & overall great service, waiter was amazing!
Felt very safe .. beautiful
patio area and food was great . pricey for lunch .. would only go for special
occasion
Service was off with covid...overall was pretty good.
Steak was chewy and full of gristle. We had to send both sides back since one under cooked and one was overcooked. Place was 3/4 full and service could not have been slower. This was our second visit and our last. We never even got an apology for the awful food.
Beautiful festive ambience outdoors! Definitely recommend for a memorable night.
Amazing! Great food. Beautiful patio! Great service! A++
I was expecting more from the food, my Ragu wasn’t anything special. Service was a little slow and the ambiance was to bright. Thanks
Unfortunately, the usually spot-on Eataly fell a little short for me this time. It was a special occasion so we splurged on the truffle pasta. After about 2 bites, my friend and I both realized we couldn't taste truffle at all. We informed our server who apologized, but then tried to point out to us where she could see the truffle shavings (as if we didn't know what truffles should look like). Then, a manager (presumably) also came to apologize, but neither offered to fix the dish and then we were still charged the upgrade ($20 or $25 each) for adding the truffle shavings. Hmmm. I've always been a big fan, but this dinner was sadly disappointing.
