Finally a service experience worth mentioning! The overall experience was amazing. The food was fresh and authentic, and the wait staff was incredible attentive with suggestions and guidance through the menu. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting.
The restaurant is beautiful and the host that took us to our table was wonderful. Our server was well aware of the menu offerings and was very helpful with our selections. The food was just ok, nothing spectacular. What was spectacular was the cost of the meal. Even if the prices were reasonable, I would not go back as there are too many other restaurants with much better food. This was a rip off.
Our server was excellent. But the hostess was not service oriented at ALL. We arrived with a 3 month old and 2 year old grandkids and she wouldn’t seat us! Our reservation was at 5:15 and there was NO ONE else in the restaurant. She made us wait! Terrible customer service and felt like she was on a power trip. Started out the whole thing on a really bad foot.
Our server was amazing. The manager also stepped out and recommended some fabulous drinks to pair with our food. Overall, 5 star food and 5 star service.
Really bad and slow service. Coffee was burnt and pasta was mediocre.
Been wanting to try this place for brunch. I've tried the other restaurants in Eataly so I think I've got a pretty good comparison.
First off, and this just has to deduct a star, but if you're open for brunch and you literally have two different coffee bars in your own establishment, why in the world would you just flat out tell your customers, who are paying a premium for their meal, that you're out of coffee and they have to go get their own coffee if they want coffee? On the one hand, sure, no big deal, I'll just get up and go get some coffee for myself and my guests. But afterward I had to wonder how they couldn't have managed to make some coffee downstairs and bring it upstairs and serve the customers? Or just have the waiters do it?
The food was simply okay, not nearly worth the price - they charge about twice what they should. It's a very limited brunch menu. The french toast was actually very good, and a large portion, but everything else was simply okay. For the price they charge it should be better than simply okay.
The waiter was very nice and somewhat apologetic but overall I recommend doing brunch in the downstairs restaurant. If you've never been, it's worth going to just because it is a great location with a unique vibe, but I think they need to tighten things up a bit to make it worth a repeat.
Food wasn’t anything special. We ordered Pasta-Wagyu Ragu, Tonna (Tuna Entree) , Spaghetti Pomodore (Grilled Shrimp on side - extra), Lamb skewers, Mushrooms for appetizers. The food was alright !
Our server was good and did a good job! I have had much better Italian food. Overall… It’s OK.
Food is outstanding! I’ve been here for brunch twice and been delighted both times with the food. There are sone seasonal changes but both times the wood fired food was delicious. The terra toast with a balsamic glaze is so satisfying. It is slightly sweet but hearty. The frittata was also yummy. They have a great selection of brunch cocktails as well. The best part is the ability to go downstairs after and buy all sorts of yummy Italian treats to take home.
Loud and food not great and expensive Will not return
Our experience was outstanding. It began, as all restaurants should, by setting the tone with a host wearing black that had a welcoming smile, infectious enthusiasm, strong knowledge and sound professionalism. Following that glorious welcome was top flight wait staff, exceptional service and fresh, creative and authentic Italian food. We will be back.
Our reservation was at 1:30, bit we couldn’t go upstairs until exactly that time. Once upstairs, we had to wait anyways.
Would prefer to order our appetizer and then give us time to look over the menu and order our entree’s, but you have to order everything at one time. Also, the pasta was too el dente and had to be cut with a knife, unfortunately we sent it back.
Positive notes: the charcuterie board and drinks were fantastic. Very nice ambiance.
Service was terrible, we sat at our table for almost 10 minutes without being approached. I had to ask one of the waiters walking by if we even had a waiter. When we finally received service, the waiter opened a bottle of white wine for me, and there were cork bits in my glass. When I pointed that out, he poured me another glass from the same bottle and, still, there was cork in my glass. I finally said OK, because I grew weary, but my husband insisted another bottle be opened. Honestly, as soon as it was discovered the cork was compromised, the waiter should’ve grabbed a new bottle. We ordered the charcuterie, and the assorted meats and cheeses had zero flavor. The antipasto from Costco tastes better. Between two glasses of wine and the charcuterie, our bill was $82. That was the most expensive disappointing lunch I’ve ever had. The only complimentary thing I can say is the restaurant has a nice ambiance.
Outstanding. Bread, pasta, wine. It was all world class.
While previously we’ve had great experiences, this time fell short. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 10-15 minutes downstairs for our table. Then there seemed to be a state of confusion about the status of our table by the hostess staff upstairs when we were eventually told our table was ready, so we ended up waiting another 5 minutes. Then the service was a bit slow and the pours we received for our $18 glasses of wine were smaller than we’ve ever received there before. We had to rush to eat our dessert and skip after dinner coffees to make it to our concert plans so it wasn’t the great experience we hoped for. Thank goodness the food was divine as always.
Service was shockingly hostile. Food was carefully prepared but far too salty. Also, we noticed the restaurant both at the reservation and when we arrived that we were celebrating a birthday. It was acknowledged, even verbally.
An enjoyable place to dine & relax. Service & food presentation was fabulous
Niece in town 😀
Great. They didn’t have coffee, which was odd given that they are a market and have a basement coffee shop. They made no attempt to get any.
I rarely go to a restaurant where I think every thing I ate was fabulous! Tagliatelle al fungi, grilled sole and grilled bread with lardo and butter.
great atmosphere, seating was very comfy. Service was great and very attentive.
can't wait to go back.
The restaurant was not full at 6:30 but service was incredibly slow. Ambience is lovely - very pretty. Food was good but for the price I thought it would be outstanding. I will go back for counter service but will not go to Terra for dinner again.
The food is excellent. The service was lacking (in 100+ degree heat, you've got to keep the water coming), but it was still an overall positive experience. We enjoyed browsing Eataly downstairs after our meal.
Waiters push most expensive items on the menu. Recommend too many courses. Wine markup is high. A twenty something bottle of wine sold in the store is $100 in the restaurant. I want the job of carrying the bottle of wine upstairs for $70.00
Attentive staff and manager. The ambiance is bright, modern and beautiful to look at.
I had a hard time finding much to order that wasn't super pricey. I ended up with a salad and a "sharable" sausage on a stick, all of which was very good. I was hoping for more pasta dishes that appealed, but I'm not into rabbit pasta. ugh.
Another wonderful experience. Beautiful decor, truly exceptional service and wonderful presentation by the wait staff and chefs. The delicious cuisine this time was arancini, tagliatelle al funghi, insalate verde with shrimp and tiramisu for desert. All perfect. A place to experience a touch of Italy. Grazie Mille.

Terra is one of my go to places where I want to have a enjoyable meal and not be rushed. We had a 4 hour lunch :)
Way overpriced for what you get.
Food was good. Service was poor and ambiance was blah. It was very noisy too. Overall, it was disappointing.
Very lovely! I had late lunch here with my mom and boyfriend.
Muy mala actitud de hostess de la parte de arriba, que te asigna la mesa...very bad acttitude from the Hostess upstairs, terrible
I was incredibly disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered a glass of wine and it took a bit before it came out. When we ordered our food it was another half hour before the salad came out. And then another wait before the pasta was served.
I wanted a certain kind of pasta with my pasta dish and was told the chef probably wouldn’t let me have a substation. I was lobbied to order another pasta instead. I repeated my request for the desired pasta if possible. I was brought the other pasta which was not good. Ragu with wagyu beef. The beef was like shredded pork. It’s not a good experience. And I said I do not like my dish and was charged for it anyway.they offered to make the pasta I originally wanted, but it took so long to get the food in the first place I didn’t want to wait for another dish.
This is supposed to be there high end experience at Eataly. Pasta and pizza restaurant restaurant is way better, faster and less $$$ Save your money and go there. This was a waste of time and money.
Great food, great service. Lovely decor. Music too loud!
Food was alright they changed it
Amazing service! Food was fresh and tasty!
I have never written a negative review of a dining experience before, but I feel compelled to share my experience so others can lower their expectations and hopefully the management team can improve things for future diners. I made our reservation about 2 months early in anticipation of our wedding anniversary. While everyone was very welcoming & made special mention of our anniversary (appreciated), that was pretty much where the good review stops. The decor on the way up the stairs to the restaurant has fallen off in many places, leaving command hooks exposed. And on the subject of decor…I definitely didn’t get a high end restaurant vibe with the cheap looking “rustic” style. In fact, it’s gave me straight up 1980s Olive Garden vibes. The lighting over the bar and tables felt like a police station interrogation set up. Thankfully we had no light over our table or it certainly would have triggered a migraine or Dateline Secrets Uncovered situation for me. We waited 10 minutes for our waiter to come by and offer warm water. had to insist upon placing a drink order. 15 minutes later he returned with one drink (a glass of wine) while I continued to wait on my frose. Eventually he returned with my drink and we ordered appetizers. Quail on a stick (highlight of the evening)& bread so hard it literally cut my lip. Our waiter was more attentive with the entree order. came out in a timely manner. the muscles were good. Although out of approximately 20 in the bowl, 7 of them didn’t open up and were consequently inedible. My husband ordered a wagu pasta dish which was super al dente and had no flavor. When the waiter returned, I told him I would need more (hopefully Soft) bread to soak up the broth from my muscles & told him he didn’t like the pasta. Spaghetti was the replacement - it was runny. Bread never came. Waited a long time for 2nd round of drinks. Had to reuse silverware for entire meal. All around, definitely not the baller experience we’d hoped for.
Great experience! Amazing service, perfect place for a nice dinner.
Great food. great service
