Terra at Eataly Boston
Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where Executive Chef Dan Bazzinotti cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.
In every earthy dish, the fire’s smoked warmth rekindles our fundamental connection to the elements. Plentiful and playful, the grilled plates are perfect to share around the restaurant"s rustic tables, especially when paired with seasonal drinks.
Terra’s ever-changing beverage menu includes herb-infused cocktails, rare wine terroirs, and barrel-aged beers.

Awsome food, location, service. Nocino missing from the liquors. And we need some more dessert options (ex something dry, like cantucci.. maybe just go downstairs to grab some crunchy stuff ;) )
Brought friends for their first time at Terra everything was great Our friends loved it!
Absolutely beautiful and great service. Food was okay, honestly expected better!
Great food, great wine, great management. Stephanie should be the president of Eataly…or the prime minister or maybe the CEO. 🤷♂️ And it seems whenever she’s around there’s always bucatini involved, somehow. In this case, carbonara. Very tasty!
This is a surprisingly lovely place to eat, if not a little hard to find within Eataly. The sky lights make it sunny and bright, the plants give it a nice comfy feel. I took a good friend there for her birthday and thought it was a great place to celebrate. I had the chicken milanese which was enough to serve 2 people and was very good. It's a simple dish that is served with a lemon wedge, no red sauce. My friend had the little rabbit raviolis which were delicious and served in a butter sauce. We really enjoyed ourselves!
This place gets positive points only for the Natural Light it has.
Service - Really Bad
Food - Eatable.. But Not Tasty
Price - Not Worth It
Would I go again? Of course not.
Exceptional Food and service! We will be dining here again.
They dunt seat you until the party is there. It's annoying when is two of us... The table was not available at the time and e had to wait. The manager was very kind and gave us a glass of wine on the house.
Small portions, inattentive wait staff, and long wait times
The reviews on Google made me unsure of what to expect but it was a great experience!! I would not say it’s a 5 star restaurant so it’s a bit pricey but always gotta remember you’re downtown in Boston. It’s a great restaurant and all the food was good. The burrata was flavorful and the king oyster mushrooms were great. The wood fire does add such a great flavor to everything it touches. We got the rigatoni, agnolotti and carbonara and they were all good pasta dishes! The atmosphere was perfect and the space is gorgeous. The market and hitting Terra after is well worth it in my opinion!
Plenty of staff on hand
Service was lousy
Felt as though it was bothersome to waiter
Food was good. The guy bartender was very rude and ruined our experience. The other bartender Maggie was good and felt like she had to make up for him being abs horrible. We just wanted to finish our food and leave. I felt so uncomfortable and I am also a bartender and server ... very upsetting especially it being my very first time there and I was so excited to go and he completely ruined my dinner.
Great food and great atmosphere! The carbonara was amazing!
Would like to be able to get one of Eataly’s delicious pizza’s upstairs
Waiter was excellent. Kitchen accommodated an off menu request. Very good all around.
The place is pretty!
The food was good, although the pasta carbonara was way too salty. The lamb was good, though.
Our waiter was very attentive. Love the space, like youre on a roofdeck but inside. Food is always great. The burrata, so good.
Delicious food, good service, a bit loud, premium prices.
The food was great and the service was good as well.
food was good but kind of expensive.
the staff are very nice and welcoming.
Always love coming here! Went for my friends going away dinner and made an 8:45pm reservation, got to the restaurant at 8:30 and no one mentioned to us that the kitchen closes at 9. So after waiting for 20 mins the host informs us “we need to get to the table to order” …. We had been waiting for our table to be cleaned so i was very confused why he made it seem like my and my friends we the reason why we weren’t sitting. The server was over 30 seconds after we sat down saying “focus on ordering food not drinks” i just wish we were warned about the kitchen closing at 9pm right when we got there. Other than that we had a good time.
The food at Terra is always delicious, and the wait staff is wonderful. The air conditioning could have been a bit cooler - it was a humid July Boston night - but the meal itself was great!
the food was fantastic everything to the point, the perfect martini
Service was just ok. Not great! Food average.
Very Disappointed !
All great except service was a bit slow
Was not the normal Eataly experience for us. We usually love, but they were out of several items. But waiter was so nice to bring us free dessert.
Really, really bad service. Decent food, great decor. Not worth a second trip.
Super pricey for what they served. Bruschetta was extremely disappointing... the food could be much better if compared to other Italian restaurants.
Wonderful restaurant. Terrible parking. If you have to park in the Prudential b we ready for hell when you leave. The instructions for credit card use are very misleading.
Food was not great. Was better before covid and more pricey!!
The ambiance is great! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was to die for! Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Amazing experience. We got 2 complimentary glasses of wine, since our bottle was not cold to serve right away. Superior service. Cool view into wood fire kitchen from counter seats. Tiramisu to die for! Totally recommended
Just fun and delicious!! We will be back ( again!)
Good was terrible I ordered Lamb chop I had to wait almost one hour and when it finally came it was raw
My wife had a cutlet Milanese it was so overdone she had a 1/4 of an inch piece and we had to return it just like the lamb
I will never return there
Decent ambiance, basically as nice as the pictures, but food is too pricey for the quality/portion size. The restaurant is smaller than expected and they are quite strict on the amount of time allotted for your table. Not too loud on the Friday evening we went.
Terra was an absolutely great place to dine! The ambience is awesome with the glass rooftop and the greenery everywhere. The food was also delicious; anything wood smoked was delectable.
Pricey but worth it.
great place and great energy in there. The views were amazing and the staff was friendly and nice and welcoming
