The hostess was very warm. We had booked hightop tables which we did not like so much, so she gave us an standard sitting area table. The ambience is one of a kind in Boston. The king oyster mushrooms are must try for mushroom lovers. The preparation of swordfish was also delicious. Our waiter was very helpful and suggested us good wine as per our taste and helped us with the food menu as well. Overall the staff members were very warm. They had surprise celebration for my wife as it was her birthday. A must visit for date nights.

So it is absolutely a beautiful place to have brunch. And the food is definitely worth the prices. My issue was the volume. Unfortunately, we seated next to a very loud table and couldn't hear each other. But other than, it a fantastic place🤗

Service was a bit slow ...after cocktails and starter, we ordered our main with glass of wine. The main was delivered but not wine and had to talk to 2 people before our waiter brought over the wine. Nice space nestled in between the buildings.

We were seated outside, as requested, but got a bar top seat where the seats were way too low for the table. Server was very quiet and my meal was a bit cold (swordfish). But we would definitely come back because the dishes were very creative, well thought out, with amazing ambiance.

NEVER AGAIN POOR MANAGEMENT OF STAFF OVERALL I waited a week to write this review hoping that I might be more forgiving.... From the arrival to paying the check our experience was poor. We arrived on time for our reservation for 3, only to find out that they didn't have a table for our party ready at all and were told it would be 15 minutes at least. We were pushed a but to the side without any hey wait at the bar for a cocktail or you could proceed outside to the lounge area to wait there, they hostess just left us hanging. I then proceeded to watch (who I assume was the GM/Manager on duty) come over with some friends and have the hostess seat them outside. Eventually we were told our table was ready and followed the hostess outside to be seated only to find no table ready for us. Again the hostess kind of just dumped us standing there and said it would be a few minutes. We sat down in the lounge area and waited for 15 MINUTES while we watched 4 servers stand around chit chatting not clearing the two tables that had dishes etc on them. Eventually the buser (not our waiter, not a hostess) came over and waved in our general direction. By this time we were 40 minutes past our reservation. The buser was great, took our order for water, bread and one app to get it started. Thank goodness for him since our waiter didn't make it to the table for another 5 minutes. Eventually we ordered food...sort of. Three pastas were out so we were limited to spaghetti noodles or the squid ink lobster pasta. One plate came out, then five minutes, then another plate, then the last. Two of the pasta dishes were of poor quality, one with little to no flavor at all and the other with undercooked pasta noodle (not even al dente). Our waiter came to the table once to check in which was after we were basically done and ready for the check. At least he removed one of the dishes from the check.

Portions very small. Pasta is cheap so being a bit generous should not be a big deal when charging a crazy price. We had to ask for grated cheese, and when we got it, it wasn’t enough for 1 person…. We were 4

The night started out fantastic at the bar for cocktails…then just went down from there. Seats at the high tops at the entrance give you a front row seat to obnoxious entitled people complaining to the staff about the seating. The staff does a good job of managing that. We ordered ravioli at first seating 5pm and waited over 45 minutes for our very simple meal. I was underwhelmed by the lemon sauce that was over powered the cheese topping. We would not go back it felt very touristy we should have just gone to the North End.

While the food is good (portions on the smaller side) the service was absolutely horrific!! We had to hail someone down to get water after they brought water to 3 tables that sat after us. The same went for bread - by the time we even got bread, our food was coming out. Our waitress was completely aloof and a few times we attempted to call her over when she was at the next table and she just walked away without acknowledging us. She wasn’t helpful at all and kept us waiting and waiting, and it wasn’t overly busy. I was excited to bring friends from out of town here and it was such a disappointment.

They gave our table away right in front of us to another family that was complaining about sitting outside (they sent a text saying our table was ready 10 minutes before our reservation time, then when we got there it wasn’t). We stood by the bar for 10 minutes before they sat us then it took another 20 for a server to come take our drink order. Normally I wouldn’t really care but we had a 1 year old with us and that gives us a very limited amount of time at a restaurant. Otherwise the food and drinks were very good.

The food was amazing! Our server Eduar was great, I was undecided with the choice of my wine and he served two different wines for me to choose from, one that I actually bought a few bottles from Eataly, downstairs! To top it off, I requested for a candle on top of our dessert for my best friend’s birthday and he didn’t fail to impress us. Thank you, Terra!

Only negative comment was that the elevator was out of service. This was a problem for an individual in my party that had a baby stroller. It was not ideal at all for two of us to have to carry the baby stroller up the stairs.

Terra is a great setting and very good food and service. We went for a bachelorette brunch and it was perfect. Downsides were terrible signage, both to find it in general as well as to locate bathroom when you finally do get there, but they made up for it with the beautiful setting, wonderful food and great service. Definitely expect to spend more than usual for a typical Sunday brunch, but you’ll get a great experience for the high price tag.

We made reservations for patio seating however the hostess placed us inside beside the wait staff area. We were the first /second customers in the building ?!. We did end up moving outside to the patio after the third table. I would've preferred some other options on the brunch menu . The waiting staff was excellent.

They had no chilled sparkling water - and did not offer to put it in an ice bucket. The pasta and broccolini were so salty it was inedible. (They took them off the bill.) The steak (both the wagyu and the sirloin) were VERY fatty. The music was piped through speakers in the planter - was too loud. The entrees took 40 minutes (ordered after appetizers). It was not even busy. This is not a refined dining experience as it is in LA at the Terra there.

Actually my fourth Eataly for some reason. Beautiful greenhouse looking space, very nice service and quick food delivery. Appreciated they had a last minute table for 6 available on a Friday night though. Mixed drinks were just okay. They had no cold sparkling water, after an 82 degree day. But the pastas were fresh and well done. We got the grilled seafood special (for 2) - the calamari was outstanding - smoky wood flavor excellent. The prawns were good, but the fish was steaky and dry. The Island Creek oysters I was so looking forward to had an offputting green sauce on it (almost like a chimichurri), so that was disappointing, So it was good, overall, but definitely not worth the cost of that entree (over a hundred bucks). Would go back probably, but also would more likely just browse around and eat at the different counters in Eataly - that's usually the best way to enjoy this place.

Bit disappointed that nothing was provided for Anniversary as complimentary as other high-end venues without ask. In the reservation form, they ask reason for coming when making reservation. They could use that info. Wheelchair accommodation request for guest was not ideal (in far corner, couldn't enjoy the ambient, narrow space). Called days ahead of time and there was no return call. Reception and Waiters were friendly. Food was not as expected.
