Terra at Eataly Boston
Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where Executive Chef Dan Bazzinotti cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.
In every earthy dish, the fire’s smoked warmth rekindles our fundamental connection to the elements. Plentiful and playful, the grilled plates are perfect to share around the restaurant"s rustic tables, especially when paired with seasonal drinks.
Terra’s ever-changing beverage menu includes herb-infused cocktails, rare wine terroirs, and barrel-aged beers.

Very overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. The atmosphere was cool and trendy and decor cute. However if you want to eat great Italian food, this isn't the place.
good for business lunches where the ambience and prestige is more important than food value or food quality. the food is also good just a bit expensive if not using a company card.
This is our second time dining here, the first time was the summer menu - food was incredible and our server was fantastic. We decided to bring our friends who had just ran the marathon to celebrate and although we knew the menu had changed we thought it would still be incredible. We were wrong - we got the truffle mushroom toast to start… not even a hint of truffle. We got the waygu steak skewers and they were over cooked. The truffle pasta literally tasted like butter…. $36 for butter noodles!! The only dish that was good was the octopus skewer. Very disappointed. Our server never asked how our food was and was not very friendly. Such a shame for such a beautiful atmosphere.
excellent fun atmosphere great food and service.
The host was very pleasant and sweet! I'm always satisfied with the steak and drinks!
We ordered pasta and a prok chop. The pork was very good, but the pasta was disappointing, extremely salty. That was definitely a let down, considering we really love Eataly.
Overall bad experience
Tara was so outstanding we ate there twice on our Boston visit. If you sit at the counter, the entertainment of watching the wood fired grill and the folks working it is very fun. The food is AMAZING! The service is AMAZING! Be sure to have the burrata-- best presentation of an Italian standard I've had in a long time. Everything was a 12 on the one to ten scale. If we lived in Boston, we'd be there once a week!
Service was on and off (drink refills ignored some times while other times super attentive), food was okay for the most part, though I did get sick afterwards from my dish. I had the swordfish while everyone else had the chicken. I will say the desserts brought out for my birthday were delicious. Overall though, I’d rather go elsewhere. So much potential.
We love Eataly!
Food was not worth the price. Overly pretentious and way overpriced. Disappointed
Our appetizer was undercooked, the presentation of the meal was awful - a tough pork chop alone on a large plate with a sticky ball of pasta in a separate large bowl. No garnishments. Wine was way overpriced.
Excellent service at s time when that
Doesn’t always happen!
The food is excellent. Service can be a bit off in that it goes too fast; bringing entrees before people are done with apps and plates have been cleared. The system seems a bit uncoordinated and they could expedite better and pay more attention to what’s actually happening at the table. All of the food I’ve tried here has been top notch, high quality, great flavors.
Love the vibes of the restaurant but our food came out cold and we feel as though it was super overcharged for no flavor. Very disappointed.
New menu. Food Items were good but slightly expensive for what you get.
I’m so glad I chose Terra for lunch! Gorgeous setting and wonderful ambiance. I loved the light and the plants everywhere.
As for the food- delightful. Get the rabbit agnolotti and you won’t regret it. The oysters are also excellent, and my server’s wine recommendation paired perfectly. I’ll be back on another visit to Boston!
Our server barely interacted with us. He took our order, then we never saw him again until he brought the bill. Furthermore, though it was nice that the appetizers came out quickly, we had barely taken a bite of them before the main meal came out approximately 60 seconds later. The server never checked in to see how our meal was. Then, when I finished before my wife, someone came and cleared my entire setting before my wife was finished, making my wife feel reeled rushed, as if they wanted us to get out of there as soon as possible. She never even got a chance to finish her beverage, because we felt so rushed. This was the worst birthday lunch we have ever experienced. We will never go back.
A lovey ambience with your reliable hospitable eataly staff. We ordered two different pasta dishes and weren’t entirely impressed with the flavors. They do have a lovey selection of wines though!
If you want more affordable eats (and better flavors) try the restaurant on the main floor—la pizza la pasta!
A well-served meal whose food did not live up to expectations. Highlights were the craft cocktails, pork chop, beet salad, and grilled octopus. But the cavatelli were lackluster, and the $55 steak was full of gristle. I left more than half of it on the plate. We ordered a lot of food, antipasto platter, three small plates (which were all ample), split a pasta, had the entrees, and dessert, but left feeling unsatisfied. Ronnie, our server, was terrific, but I wonder what the kitchen thought when plate after plate came back unfinished. At over $500 for two with wine and tip, the meal was particularly disappointing.
Our family dinner at Terra at Eataly was a food experience we will all remember! Every single dish was prepared to perfection. Our waiter was fantastic with all of his recommendations and service. Fantastic all around! Can't wait to come back!
Food was mediocre - especially considering the price,
Came here with a group of 5 and although our table wasn’t ready until a little later than our reservation, the food was delicious. The special tonight (ribs braised with Campari) were tasty, rigatoni was fantastic as well. Don’t waste your time on the bruschetta with bursts, our group was not impressed. If you like white wines, I highly recommend the Gavi. Pro tip, you can buy the bolognese ragu in the shop downstairs. Highly recommend.
Terra is always fantastic. The service is exemplary, the gold standard. From wine selection to appetizers to entrees to dessert always precision in quality food and fully attentive servers.
60th birthday celebration
Our wait Gavo always goes above and beyond to provide excellent service and great interaction with the table. The food is always consistent and the wine selection is great! We look forward to our next visit.
Fantastic food with great service and beautiful atmosphere, always a favorite spot (especially for negroni week)!
Food and service were great but unfortunately we had a table less than two feet from the single unisex bathroom which was in use non stop through our meal.
Shout out to our server Vinny- he gave great suggestions and his cheerful demeanor even during a Friday dinner rush was the cherry on top of a delicious meal. Loved the pasta, cocktails and suppli
Food was acceptable but wasn’t too special. Server was not having the best day and we definitely felt it. Other than that, the ambiance was nice.
absolutely amazing. fast service and the food was unreal. tasted like wood fire
Met up with some friends who were in town from California, and the whole meal was great. The appetizers and sun course too MJ a bit long to get to us, but the service was great otherwise.
Not much variety. Portions were small. Staff seemed annoyed to be there.
This was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten and our waiter made the experience so amazing.
Ambiance and drinks are exceptional and service is excellent
From seating to check everything was well done and welcoming. Chef Miguel’s staff made our experience there one not only recommended but a sure thing for a return visit.
wonderful experience with knowledgeable staff - everyone enjoyed their dinners immensely. I had a special - ricotta gnocchi - it was amazing - a wonderful night out
Broccoli was served cold.
Covid has probably affected the staffing or our waiter was just over worked.
The food was SO GOOD! And the cocktails were absolutely exquisite. We went there for dinner, but I’m planning on coming back for brunch some time. The food was just perfect.
