Terra at Eataly Boston
Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where Executive Chef Dan Bazzinotti cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.
In every earthy dish, the fire’s smoked warmth rekindles our fundamental connection to the elements. Plentiful and playful, the grilled plates are perfect to share around the restaurant"s rustic tables, especially when paired with seasonal drinks.
Terra’s ever-changing beverage menu includes herb-infused cocktails, rare wine terroirs, and barrel-aged beers.

Our family dinner at Terra at Eataly was a food experience we will all remember! Every single dish was prepared to perfection. Our waiter was fantastic with all of his recommendations and service. Fantastic all around! Can't wait to come back!
Food was mediocre - especially considering the price,
Came here with a group of 5 and although our table wasn’t ready until a little later than our reservation, the food was delicious. The special tonight (ribs braised with Campari) were tasty, rigatoni was fantastic as well. Don’t waste your time on the bruschetta with bursts, our group was not impressed. If you like white wines, I highly recommend the Gavi. Pro tip, you can buy the bolognese ragu in the shop downstairs. Highly recommend.
Terra is always fantastic. The service is exemplary, the gold standard. From wine selection to appetizers to entrees to dessert always precision in quality food and fully attentive servers.
60th birthday celebration
Our wait Gavo always goes above and beyond to provide excellent service and great interaction with the table. The food is always consistent and the wine selection is great! We look forward to our next visit.
Fantastic food with great service and beautiful atmosphere, always a favorite spot (especially for negroni week)!
Food and service were great but unfortunately we had a table less than two feet from the single unisex bathroom which was in use non stop through our meal.
Shout out to our server Vinny- he gave great suggestions and his cheerful demeanor even during a Friday dinner rush was the cherry on top of a delicious meal. Loved the pasta, cocktails and suppli
Food was acceptable but wasn’t too special. Server was not having the best day and we definitely felt it. Other than that, the ambiance was nice.
absolutely amazing. fast service and the food was unreal. tasted like wood fire
Met up with some friends who were in town from California, and the whole meal was great. The appetizers and sun course too MJ a bit long to get to us, but the service was great otherwise.
Not much variety. Portions were small. Staff seemed annoyed to be there.
This was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten and our waiter made the experience so amazing.
Ambiance and drinks are exceptional and service is excellent
From seating to check everything was well done and welcoming. Chef Miguel’s staff made our experience there one not only recommended but a sure thing for a return visit.
wonderful experience with knowledgeable staff - everyone enjoyed their dinners immensely. I had a special - ricotta gnocchi - it was amazing - a wonderful night out
Broccoli was served cold.
Covid has probably affected the staffing or our waiter was just over worked.
The food was SO GOOD! And the cocktails were absolutely exquisite. We went there for dinner, but I’m planning on coming back for brunch some time. The food was just perfect.
Very bad menu
The food was amazing. Exceeded all expectations. The steak for two is perhaps the best I’ve ever had.
Food was great. But I was there with my grandson and felt virtually ignored by waiter. I had to ask other waiters twice to get his attention. I’ve eaten there previously and service was great.
We did not have the best experience due to the fact that our waiter seemed to not know the menu well and my allergy was not taken seriously. After specifically explaining my allergy, I was given something containing my allergen. Luckily I noticed it.
Came here for my birthday and ordered the Bistecca Toscan; it was amazing! Probably the best steak I've ever had. It's a thin cut steak and it's huge. I had to share it with a friend, but it was worth it. The taste can be slightly off when cold, so eat up while it's warm!
Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Very we ordered was delicious
It was our birthday dinner!
We had such a wonderful experience for dinner celebrating my son’s graduation from college. We started with the rose wine flight 💖. Then had the charcuterie was next, which I think lasted 60 seconds 😋. Of course we all had pasta 🍜dishes, which we all shared. We usually don’t get desert, but decided on the gelato…. 🍧 Best choice!
The food was tasty and pretty authentically Italian. We ordered 4 different items, all hot and all came out at the same time, including a large bowl of pasta with seafood. We sent the pasta back to keep it warm until we had finished our oysters, mushrooms and artichokes. It was odd that the server did not consider how to pace our meal better. But I'm reluctant to be too critical of waitstaff because I'm sure it's hard to get and train people in this current environment.
Our waiter was not mentally very excited about his job. That, unfortunately took away from the otherwise generally hospitable scene. The food was good but did t seem to rise above or meet previous visits.
I’ll chalk this off to either an off night for the staff or ? We will still go back though as the food here is generally quite impressive and hugely reminiscent of our many trips to Italy.
Great place to go and enjoy your weekend. Will go again!!
We sat at the bar and watched all the action. It was really fun!
We went for our anniversary and had the most beautiful meal!! We were given complimentary champagne upon arrival and they put a sweet little candle in our dessert. The entire staff was exceptional! Our waiter was so kind and took the time to check in on us and make our anniversary really special. We can’t wait to return and thank you all so much 😊
Service was awesome! Food (carbonara) was so salty I couldn’t even eat it.
Wonderful for our group of 5. Broad options. Lovely preparation and presentation. We are regulars because they have earned our loyalty!!
Welcoming and friendly atmosphere, nice food, fast service... A bit noisy, but it was Boston Restaurants Week.
Short and sweet review: very good food, desserts, drinks, service, ambience, slightly expensive, limited menu
Eataly is always a treat. This was our first time upstairs at Terra. As always, good food and good service... this time is a somewhat less noisy enviroment.
We booked the day before an early dinner slot for our vacation to Boston. The day of the restaurant personally called to confirm our booking. Upon arrival our table was ready and waiting, Timothy our server was very attentive and friendly to our needs. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. By far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had.
The food was great and the atmosphere too. I think the service was not amazing, didn't feel extremely welcomed or comfortable, it was somewhat awkward.
